“I’ve been going to Pizza Pizza since I was in Grade 9, and one of the main reasons I’ve kept coming back is because of Angela. She’s been working there for years, and she’s always been kind, patient, and genuinely welcoming every single time I’ve come in.

From the start, Angela made the experience better. Whether it’s a busy rush or a quiet day, she treats everyone with the same respect and positive energy. She takes the time to listen, gets orders right, and never makes you feel rushed. Even when it’s hectic, she stays calm and professional, which really stands out.

What I appreciate the most is how she remembers people and builds real connections with customers. Over the past four years, she’s recognized me, asked how I’ve been, and always greeted me with a smile. That kind of consistency isn’t common, and it shows she truly cares about her job and the people she serves.

It’s rare to come across someone like Angela who leaves such a strong, positive impression just by being kind and dedicated. She’s a big reason why that Pizza Pizza location feels welcoming, and she definitely deserves recognition for the effort she puts in every day.“

With every bite you can taste the quality of what you are eating. I ate there with my 3 and 6 year old recently and they loved it just as much as I did. “Delicious vegan Caribbean food in the heart of Kensington Market. Veggie D'light hits the spot for lunch on a weekend. I had their meal with jerk saitan, veggies and basmati/quinoa. I asked about the soup of the day and was promptly offered a taste by the friendly chef. Had the medium soup as well--a delicious rich soup with yams and coconut milk. Now I have a new favorite lunch spot.“

“By far the most delicious Momo’s in parkdale. It’s juicy and the filling is perfect. These handmade Momo’s are a must try.

Apart from the Momo’s they also serve food from Nepal and Bhutan. The Thali and Ema Dhatsi are exceptional. Tastes authentic and very filling.“

“Phenomenal experience! This local bakery has such a wonderful selection of pastries, which are a little pricey, but great as a treat! They do also have Bang Bang Ice Cream flavours that were delectable & perfect if you don’t want to go to their location (that typically has a pretty long wait). The service was helpful and friendly, along with a reliable team that makes the line go fast! The seating is limited, but the window seats are really great for a small rendezvous. Overall, I’ll definitely be returning to Bakerbots Baking for another treat!“

“This place is amazing. Had the OG fish and chips and cauliflower wings. They definitely know their batter! Light, fluffy, yet delightfully crispy. Also highly recommend their mussels and clams in garlic butter wine sauce. And for the price, it was some of the better seafood we’ve had in the city. I ordered a broccoli starter and soba noodles with broccoli, tofu, and sauce, plus paid a little extra for a fresh golden juice. The portion was generous and filling — I even had to pack the rest to go. The restaurant has a beautiful fine‑dining style with several indoor seating options, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Overall, I’d definitely come again to try other dishes.“

“Was running errands and popped by here because I've been wanting to try it for a while (I remember enjoying tasty Fresh juice years ago at a downtown location!). I don't follow a vegan diet so finding plant-based restaurants is not a huge priority for me, but the menu here looks so interesting and the space is lovely as well. I had the brunch bundle with The Glow (fresh juice - carrot, apple, turmeric, ginger, lemon) and Mom's Breakfast Sandwich (brioche bun, vegan breakfast sausage, Just Egg omelette, chipotle mayo, hash brown, pickles, vegan butter - I had the chipotle mayo substituted with garlic mayo) with house salad. Food came fast and everything tasted so fresh and delicious, and one of the best hash browns I've ever had, so crispy and fluffy and flavourful without feeling overly oily/greasy! My stomach had been growling before I came in, and it was definitely satiated. I was alone in the heated patio and even though there were lots of people inside and the kitchen was clearly bustling, the staff were very attentive, thoughtful and helpful. They regularly came over to check on me and make sure the temperature in the space was OK. Wonderful place, I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal!“

“What a gem! We were in the mood for something different and this was it! From the outside, this place is so unassuming but the vibe inside is so chill! We went on a Thursday night and it was packed! This actually made us excited because it was obvious this place was good! I got two tacos, one carne asada and one beef bulgogi and OMG! Both were absolutely flavorful and fresh! The chips were so crunchy and fresh too! The queso was so creamy and perfectly spicy (beware if you’re sensitive to heat because it has a bite). My mom got the bowl and loved it! The ingredients looked super fresh and colorful! The service was spectacular and the food came out pretty fast considering how busy it was! I highly recommend!“

“I recently visited Pizzaiolo and was genuinely impressed. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality, from the ingredients to the pizza itself. I’m a big fan of pepperoni, and theirs was absolutely delicious, flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked.

It was a tough choice as there are so many delicious things on the menu. The friendly and excellent service, food and ambiance was perfect. A big thank you to the staff for such an enjoyable evening. The rolls we got were delicious! very fresh and tasty. The pricing is very reasonable. I paid just under $20 for 2 types of rolls and a soda. it was enough food to feel full and ready for the rest of the day!“
