Madras Masala Reviews
authentic south Indian cuisine right here in the city. friendly staff, clean, outdoor dining space, delicious and tasty. definitely recommended.
Amazing food. Great value for the $ and good service.
If food is like this in South India, we need to visit. We tried chef special paratha mix as that was novelty and wow, glad we ordered. Huge idli (forgot the name) was super. All food very well tempered. People were very courteous and present. Madras filter coffee is not like that in South - milky and weak but that's how we get it abroad.

Madras Masala offers incredible food and flavour, with every dish made with care and authenticity. The butter paper masala dosa, mutton Chettinad, chicken sukha, and Malabar parotta are fantastic, and the coconut chutney and sambar feel like home. The biryani is the best in the city, and the Wedding Briyani comes on a banana leaf, a sign of legitimately good food. The butter chicken is rich, creamy, and full of flavor, paired perfectly with warm, soft garlic naan. The thali is beautifully balanced and generous, with each component having its own distinct flavor profile. The samosa is golden and crisp, the veg pakora is light yet crispy, and the dosa and uttapam are absolute standouts. The dosa is thin, crispy, and expertly made, while the uttapam is soft and fluffy. The egg paratha is rich and flaky. The mango lassi is thick and creamy, and the buttermilk is refreshing and perfectly spiced. The service is warm, friendly, and very fast. The restaurant may be small, but it is very impressive. The Dosa is truly legendary, and the food is always excellent and very well priced. Madras Masala absolutely delivers comforting, well-executed South Indian food in Toronto.
