The signature shrimpbul is packed with toppings, super filling and definitely spicy. The crazy chicken shrimp is probably my second favourite. Close to TMU, great service, clean and inviting! The katsu was really nice as it was a fairly big portion and had a nice crunch outside, not too greasy but just amazing paired with the rice paired with the meal. Tteokbokki was mildly spicy but may differ from person to person.

Not too busy and I notice a lot of people come here get take out rather dining in like I did. (Bonus points for newjeans playing in the background)“

“Absolutely incredible dining experience and the value cannot be beat. We got the premium date night special for $150 which included cavier with prosecco or a glass of wine, 2 appetizers, two premium mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of house wine.

The menu is not limited either. A great selection of appetizers and mains. We had the carpaccio, arancini which were both delicious. On recommendation of the owner I got the halibut which was melt in your mouth tender and flavourful. My husband got the lamb which was incredible

“We had a wonderful experience at Tulia Osteria Bar The service was impeccable (thank you Andy!) and the food, amazing. We ordered the Antipasti Board to start and it was well curated and had ample portions. We followed this up a Pizzano pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Very flavourful on both counts. And Pistachio gelato to finish. They are just getting started! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!“

The quality of the pizzas is exceptional--generous toppings and the very freshest, very best of everything. The do not skimp. Juniors medium is actually a large, so there is great value on offer. “Hit up Danny’s Pizza Tavern with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and it absolutely delivered. We shared the steak, Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, pepperoni pizza, sausage and peppers pizza, and the tomato pie, and honestly, there wasn’t a weak link. Everything came out hot, flavourful, and perfect for sharing. The vibes were top-tier: lively, fun, and exactly what you want for a group night out. Great food, great energy, great time. “There aren't too many places in the GTA with Detroit style pizza so this has been on my list of want to go places, and it was definitely worth the wait.

Outside of the Detroit style pizza, Afro's has so many unique pizza flavours that you won't find anywhere else. They also have a seasonal menu which was very interesting as well. I was a little overwhelmed with the selection, so I went with the recommendation of Jackie Brown's since I love jerk chicken to begin with.

It was delicious. The dough was springy, the crust was nice and crispy, and the combination of jerk chicken, onions, jack fruit, and crispy jalepenos blended so well together.

It was great chatting with the gentleman running the store while I was waiting and I was able to get great insight into their history and approach to making pizza.

“Cannot give this place enough stars. I came here the day after the historic storm where Toronto got 50 cm of snow. I was craving a mom & pop style pizza. Many shops were closed in the city this day. I was passing by Dundas Pizza on my way home and decided to give them a call just because. To my luck the owner answered and mentioned he was closed, but would turn on the ovens and power back up the shop just to make a pizza for us. Within 20 minutes, we had a delicious pie tailored to our liking. The pizza was delicious, well flavoured, with full slices of bacon. The pizza itself is quite large and very filling. Fresh toppings and you can smell the aroma even just from holding the box. Will definitely be a reoccurring customer.“

“We absolutely loved this pizzeria! The atmosphere is beautiful and very stylish, with a modern European vibe. The interior design is amazing — the red lamps, the space, the details — everything looks so cool and inviting.

The pizza was incredible. It’s not the heavy American-style pizza, but a true European-style pizza with a light, perfectly baked crust and high-quality ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and authentic.

You can really feel the quality and attention to detail here. The olives were also amazing, and overall the food was just delicious.
