But there is not really any place to sit. It was 5 of us and we had to go to Earl Bales park to find a table for all of us. The counters are 3 people max.

“We recently visited Kourosh Bakery and Sandwiches and had such a great experience. We ordered the grilled chicken salad 7.99$ plus 5.99$ 🥗, a steak & cheese sandwich 17.99$ 🥪, and also a doner plate 18.99 $🥙, and everything was honestly excellent and good price compared to quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh everything tasted—the vegetables in the salad were crisp and fresh, the grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes were very generous.

The steak and cheese sandwich was just as impressive. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the bread tasted fresh and soft, which made a huge difference. The doner plate was also amazing, with flavorful meat, fresh toppings, and great seasoning that reminded me of authentic Persian-style food.

You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and don’t cut corners. Everything felt homemade and prepared with attention to detail.

What I also really appreciated is that Kourosh Bakery feels like a true local business—warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

“This is a favourite of ours. My Aunt loves it and we all find the large menu and extensive beverage list to be great. The Scarborough location has kind staff who are friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy our meals and servers. The bartender makes great wine recommendations. I have liked several choices enough to purchase them at the LCBO. Seeing the servers just a bit more often would be nice. The tortilla chips served with the guacamole are always stale (3x in 2 months). Those are just tiny little things. They certainly won't keep us from coming back again and again. Kudos to all the staff!“

I ordered the Tandoori without the avocado a d had pineapple instead.

Quick dinner with some of the kiddies. They had their usual (burger + fries, chicken tenders + fries). I tried their new Cajun shrimp bowl 😋😋😋 and he tried their spicy perogy pizza 🤤. The bowl was greatly flavoured with the heat from the jalapeños to balance it out. And the pizza was very tasty. Both will definitely be eaten again ☺️. Great add ons to the menu 🙌🏽“

“Had a great service at this location, ordered 4 medium pizzas, 8 drinks, and 4 dips. Food was anazing but took awhile. One worker was locked in at the front and did alot of work and deserves a raise. The other worker, (Antoon) stayed in the back either prepping some up, or prepping himself. Antoon rarely came to the front and displayed a mean/nonchalant face. Additionally, he came to the front and pulled 4 plastics bags which was his first appearance. To conclude my review, I would ljke to thank the worker for basically carrying Antoon by doing all the work in a busy time. Antoon, I don’t think pizza pizza is a great a fit for you. Maybe you were in training or prepping something in the back, but please try to display yourself more often and take orders, instead of just pulling out bags and staying in the back.

“Didn’t like this location at all even though it’s the closest store to my residence and would often travel to further locations I.E. Marlee or Sheppard locations because they Avenue Rd location were very cheap with toppings, had poor customer service, would screw up orders and would violate HACCP rules with respect to washing hands before touching food. Now since employee Srikanth Gundeti is at this Avenue Rd location I have seen a noticeable improvement I.E. Employees no longer violate HACCP rules, better customer service, orders not screwed up, and now better quality made pizzas that me and my family enjoy. People underestimate how bad, lazy employees and who often violate HACCP rules can ruin the customer service experience!“

Ordered a pickup special pizza from here and I became an addict. Amazing 'to go' as well as by slice. Generous toppings at a great price point. Also, the staff are always friendly and awesome; They are always ready with a smile and genuinely seem to care about their customers and they are passionate about their food.

One slice for $4.50 (including tax) is super filling! Remember to ask what kind because the toppings are under the cheese! I had pepperoni and my boyfriend tried the Chicken Delight (spicy slice) and the donair. Donair was really good (I found it a bit too sweet, but it's really popular and worth giving a try!) and i didn't try the Chicken Delight, but it was so good that it inspired him to try the Donair.
