“We recently visited Kourosh Bakery and Sandwiches and had such a great experience. We ordered the grilled chicken salad 7.99$ plus 5.99$ 🥗, a steak & cheese sandwich 17.99$ 🥪, and also a doner plate 18.99 $🥙, and everything was honestly excellent and good price compared to quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh everything tasted—the vegetables in the salad were crisp and fresh, the grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes were very generous.

The steak and cheese sandwich was just as impressive. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the bread tasted fresh and soft, which made a huge difference. The doner plate was also amazing, with flavorful meat, fresh toppings, and great seasoning that reminded me of authentic Persian-style food.

You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and don’t cut corners. Everything felt homemade and prepared with attention to detail.

What I also really appreciated is that Kourosh Bakery feels like a true local business—warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

It’s always nice to support a local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. Between the fresh ingredients, delicious food, and excellent customer service, this place definitely earned a repeat customer. I’ll absolutely be back to try more from their menu!

“Had a great service at this location, ordered 4 medium pizzas, 8 drinks, and 4 dips. Food was anazing but took awhile. One worker was locked in at the front and did alot of work and deserves a raise. The other worker, (Antoon) stayed in the back either prepping some up, or prepping himself. Antoon rarely came to the front and displayed a mean/nonchalant face. Additionally, he came to the front and pulled 4 plastics bags which was his first appearance. To conclude my review, I would ljke to thank the worker for basically carrying Antoon by doing all the work in a busy time. Antoon, I don’t think pizza pizza is a great a fit for you. Maybe you were in training or prepping something in the back, but please try to display yourself more often and take orders, instead of just pulling out bags and staying in the back.

“A hidden gem in North York! Halal, fresh toppings, great pizza sauce and cheese, thin crust and excellent service. We usually get the meat lovers and garlic bread with cheese. This is our go-to pizza spot in the neighborhood. Highly recommended!“

“We tried both the bulgogi and kaboom pizza and they were solid pies. We opted this time not to go with the cream cheese crust which was a better option as it limited the sweetness of the overall dish and was a better balance of flavor. The green tea dough was solid on its own. The kaboom, while heavy, was super cheesy and we got great cheese pulls out of it and crispy cheese on the crust.“

“Didn’t like this location at all even though it’s the closest store to my residence and would often travel to further locations I.E. Marlee or Sheppard locations because they Avenue Rd location were very cheap with toppings, had poor customer service, would screw up orders and would violate HACCP rules with respect to washing hands before touching food. Now since employee Srikanth Gundeti is at this Avenue Rd location I have seen a noticeable improvement I.E. Employees no longer violate HACCP rules, better customer service, orders not screwed up, and now better quality made pizzas that me and my family enjoy. People underestimate how bad, lazy employees and who often violate HACCP rules can ruin the customer service experience!“

“We had a family event last night at their restaurant. I can't stress how great the value is here, and the food quality was top shelf. I have eaten food cooked by some of the best chefs in the world and this was every bit as good. the staff were attentive but not at all intrusive. very accommodating for our large group of 15 people. Their shrimp and calamari platter was cooked perfectly, not at all rubbery, with a divine sauce to dip. Pasta nicely al denté. Calabrese antipasto, nice bread spread. Perfect, and I do mean PERFECTLY, cooked steak, chicken, and sausages. Their pizza is simple but lovely balanced between crisp and chewy. Not too thick, not too thin. Arancini were great. I highly recommend them for your next family event, or just a quiet night out for the family! “They were not using any gloves and I be came sick.And the crazy bread sits in the heater for 5+ hours and it take 25 minutes just for a medium pizza.I rate this store a 3 as they can do better and there also better food area beside Little Caesars Pizza and when i was in the USA the Little Caesars was packed and only took 5 minutes and the food was fresh and it came with free drinks and there are way nicer.“
