“I absolutely love this place! By far the best coffee and pastries in the area. Although they are a relatively new bakery, the reputation that they’ve built for themselves amongst the city, and especially the Lawrence Park community is remarkable!“

“We recently visited Kourosh Bakery and Sandwiches and had such a great experience. We ordered the grilled chicken salad 7.99$ plus 5.99$ 🥗, a steak & cheese sandwich 17.99$ 🥪, and also a doner plate 18.99 $🥙, and everything was honestly excellent and good price compared to quality. The first thing I noticed was how fresh everything tasted—the vegetables in the salad were crisp and fresh, the grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the portion sizes were very generous.

The steak and cheese sandwich was just as impressive. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the bread tasted fresh and soft, which made a huge difference. The doner plate was also amazing, with flavorful meat, fresh toppings, and great seasoning that reminded me of authentic Persian-style food.

You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients and don’t cut corners. Everything felt homemade and prepared with attention to detail.

What I also really appreciated is that Kourosh Bakery feels like a true local business—warm, welcoming, and authentic. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive, making the whole experience even better.

It’s always nice to support a local business that clearly takes pride in what they do. Between the fresh ingredients, delicious food, and excellent customer service, this place definitely earned a repeat customer. I’ll absolutely be back to try more from their menu!

“Customer Service here is a 10 at a time.I originally ordered something for my birthday. Was told it would come in time but unfortunately I ordered it after three p m. So it wasn't able to come in time. And these people went out of their way to make my day extra special. Honestly Warmed my heart. They gave me a few extra freebies. And even wrote happy birthday catlena in frosting. Not to mention the food was delicious. And the fact that it comes frozen and I can keep it frozen and use it as I need.It is amazing. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend amazing service.Amazing food , everything about this brand is great.😀“

“I had a great experience at this Arab bakery. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety they offer. The food is excellent and everything tastes fresh & flavorful.

What really stands out is the wide selection. They have all kinds of baked goods, including all types of bread, not just Arabic bread. From traditional pastries to sweets and savory items, there is something for everyone.

The place also offers dine-in tables, which is perfect if you want to enjoy your food hot and fresh right away. One of their best highlights is their No. 1 Managish, with a wide menu and many options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the zaatar with cheese (It’s absolutely delicious).

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their work.

“Even though I work in the Yorkdale mall, this Tim Hortons is my favourite out of all the locations I’ve been at. The environment is so friendly and very clean. “***I DO NOT RECOMMEND *** The customer service at the head office is awful. They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. “I found Alma's bakery at a recent 'pop up market' at 26A Logan Avenue on a Sunday at the Agrarian Kitchen. Their marinaded olives in the Walnut Pomegranate dressing was to die for so we bought both. I'm so enjoying the dip with bread and cheese. I think its very versatile. The flavours are so bright and distinct. Really great! I will have to hunt them down at the markets to try their breads, spreads, and other goodies.
Adding onto this. I bought their meat and potato stuff patty and it was sooo delicious and filling. I ate it with their marinaded olives!!“
