“We ordered cupcakes for delivery for our son's birthday party. Unfortunately we had to cancel the party with less than 24hrs notice. We decided to instead give the cupcakes to his classmates, but the delivery time we set prior was a bit tight.

I emailed them and Amanda called me within an hour to help me. The delivery fees we paid were waived and my husband picked up the cupcakes. It was seamless and efficient! We were able to drop off the cupcakes to the kids in time for recess!

AND THE CUPCAKES! THEY WERE DEVINE! Moist and fresh. We were a bit sad that we only kept two cupcakes out of the 30. Im still day dreaming how that salted caramel cupcake would have tasted. Will definitely order for ourselves soon!“

“My mom had to get an x-ray today and after she was finished, she decided that we both go to the Happy Bagel Bakery and it was such a delight. We both had lux and cream cheese sandwiches, along with a cherry danish and I even had a caramilk milkshake for the very first time! In addition, when we spent a certain amount of money which was something like $30.00 dollars, we were given an additional of six (6) bagels for Free! What a Great Deal! “I had a great experience at this Arab bakery. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and variety they offer. The food is excellent and everything tastes fresh & flavorful.

What really stands out is the wide selection. They have all kinds of baked goods, including all types of bread, not just Arabic bread. From traditional pastries to sweets and savory items, there is something for everyone.

The place also offers dine-in tables, which is perfect if you want to enjoy your food hot and fresh right away. One of their best highlights is their No. 1 Managish, with a wide menu and many options to choose from. I highly recommend trying the zaatar with cheese (It’s absolutely delicious).

The staff are very friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their work.

“***I DO NOT RECOMMEND *** The customer service at the head office is awful. They messed up my online order and didn’t pass on the message to the store on time for a specific date cake order for my kids birthday. I ordered cakes for Oct 21 to be picked up. I went to the bakery and was told that they don’t have the cakes. I called and emailed the head office and they said they are small business and mistakes happen. That was the lamest excuse! Mistakes happen but they didn’t even try to fix the issue. Just saying “we are sorry, it happened, we are small business and mistakes happen” is not the right reply at all. If a communication didn’t happen between head office and the store, that is not customers fault. Running around, trying to find alternative solution, and buying another flavored cake was the worst experience celebrating my kids special day. I wasted my time, energy and money on finding cakes, I had to go back to the bakery on the same day at 9pm. The fact that they just wanted me to forget and let the problem go by really frustrated me. They said they tried to make it work, but I don’t think they even tried and think of customers perspective. I needed those 2 cakes on that day, and I placed the order 3 weeks in advance for a reason. I will most likely not order from them again and will pass my awful customer experience to my friends and family. Very irresponsible and unreasonable. Simply didn’t care. They ignored all my emails.“

“Hazikido used to have an almond caramel croissant, and that’s what first made me fall in love with this place. Sadly, they’ve stopped it. The new regular almond version doesn’t have the cream filling, and the deluxe almond with the thick custard filling just doesn’t hit the same it’s too heavy for me. I really hope they bring back the original almond caramel croissant!

That said, their custard croissant is still heavenly soft, flaky, and perfectly sweet.“

“I love their meringue cakes with peaches and dulce de leche. Ordered one for my birthday and everyone was very nice. I got my own HBD sign because I know the cake can't be decorated. The lady inside gave me another HBD sign just in case I have problems inserting mine. Their empanadas are also really good.“

In fact they claim they have a unique recipe that it's hard to replicate, the trick is in achieving the airiness of the dough and then filling the buns with a light custard cream at the right time. The result is a fantastic combination. There are five flavours to choose from: Matcha, Chocolate, Custard, Azuki and Cream. The consistency in the soft buns is clearly evident, and the ratio of bun to cream is exactly what it should be. I don’t think you could go wrong with any of the flavours so just get a box of all five like I did.“
