“Awesome bakery and tends not to be too expensive! I love that their cakes are not too sweet, but are delicious and that they have unique cake flavors, like grapefruit mango, black sesame and rose cakes! I loved the rose cake, actually! I didn't know until recently that they also sell day-old baked goods in paper bags at the back of the store for $5, so that's nice too! Drinks are also good price, coffee is cheap and unique flavored lattes, such as black sesame latte, are good prices too. I keep coming back here, honestly!“

“Pro: Delicious food. Server is very nice and responsive. Very nice setting.
Cons: 1) There are only 3 teas to choose from, which is super lacking and not competitive with other high tea places. When picking the teas, the server showed a picture of how the tea looks like. The tea looked like they are not stored properly and just jammed in a closet. The herbal tea box looked unpleasant, so choice went from 3 tea choices to 2 teas. 2) washroom was not maintain and yellow everywhere. Server cleaned it after complain. Still very unacceptable as its a food place 3) Server is too new and need training. Don't get me wrong, she is trying her best and responsive, but she should not be left by herself while being new. She had to serve, greet and clean washroom.“

The Cake Lab is stepping into the moonlight with their modern spins on Chinese mooncakes. Sweet and moderately nutty, pistachio filling is paired with a salty-savory egg yolk center. Meanwhile, the pronounced earthy and floral notes of hojicha come with a faint bitterness and an enjoyable experience. However, tradition prevails as the smooth, rich lotus paste brings a familiar sweetness that’s balanced well by the salted egg yolk.“

“I love this cafe! It's a must-stop when you are in the Junction.

My favourite lunch in the world is the house sandwich on a honey garlic bagel, an iced latte, and a black sesame macaron.

All of their desserts are incredible as well. There are many fun macaron flavours to choose from, as well a delicious cookies and cakes. I also love the strawberry latte!“

“This cafe is amazing! Such an expansive drink menu and they’re all so well thought out. I got the signature latte and it was well priced and a large portion. I also really appreciate how the drinks weren’t super sweet and so you could really enjoy the taste of the coffee. Just keep in mind that they don’t have indoor seating so you’ll be taking your drinks to go. I’ll absolutely be back. :)“

“Stopped by Daan Go Cake Lab in Richmond Hill to pick up a last-minute birthday cake, and I was really impressed with the experience.
One of the biggest conveniences was that they had a great selection of cakes available for same-day pickup. I called the morning of to reserve one of their cakes, and they were able to set it aside for me along with a birthday message for my friend, making the whole process quick and stress-free.
We went with their #1 best-selling cake, and it was a hit with everyone. The cake was fresh, light, and delicious, and it's easy to see why it's their most popular option.
I also couldn't help but notice their display of desserts, especially the macarons. They have unique, adorable designs, and they taste just as good as they look, with a great texture and flavor.
Overall, I had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff made ordering easy, the cake was fantastic, and the desserts looked amazing. I'll definitely be back to try more of their creations.“

“Came here a bunch of times, absolutely fantastic coffee in a bunch of different creative options! One of the best places to try some interesting options. I highly recommend the sweet potato drinks, the pear drinks, and the orange americano, since its stuff u rarely see anywhere else! From cake pops to 8 inch cakes and even 2 tier cakes - always flavourful (carrot cake and vanilla my favorites). There is no design they can't replicate to the fullest. So grateful for their talent, integrity and professionalism. I don't empress easy - and Sugartiers has continued to empress me with every order. “The two croissant sandwich collaborations with Pai Restaurant sounded too exciting to pass up, so I had to give them a try.

🥐 Green Curry Grilled Chicken — with mushrooms, peppers, bamboo shoots, mixed vegetables, and Thai basil.

🥐 Thai Grilled Chicken — with tamarind and toasted rice sauce, fried shallots, and makrut lime leaves.

Both sandwiches were delicious, but the Thai Grilled Chicken with the tamarind and toasted rice sauce was the standout for me. The flavours were bolder and more memorable.

And can we talk about the croissant? Absolutely excellent—beautifully flaky, buttery, and the perfect vessel for both fillings.“

“I've ordered cakes from here several times for delivery. The pistachio cake is absolutely delicious, and this time I decided to try the mango one, which was just as good.

The delivery was reliable and on time, and the delivery staff were friendly and professional. The ordering process was simple and very convenient.

I haven't visited the bakery in person yet, so I can't comment on the in-store experience, but based on their delivery service, they've been consistently excellent. Definitely recommend!“

“Got food from toogoodtogo and it was delicious! The amount of food I got was a huge 2 bags containing around 50 macarons for a really low price. I saw their mini cheesecakes there which looked pretty decent so I bought one too. Although the portion was not a lot, it was definitely very delicious! Service was quick and staff were very nice. Don't know why I see many bad reviews here.“

“My family prefer this location over the one at Markville. The staff are nice and friendly here. We live a lot closer to the Markville location, but it is always full of people and takes forever to cash out customers. We love getting cakes from here for birthdays or other special occasions.“
