I was stunned to see the chicken skewer grilled from fresh, but maybe that’s how little I’ve come to expect nowadays (sandwiches precooked). Delightful taste, juicy chicken, perfectly spiced, as fresh as it gets, and for amazing value. This little place is a gem. The owners are giving it their all, and that should be celebrated in our neighbourhood.“

“The savoury breads here are seriously next level.

The Onion Basil is a completely surprise . The outside had a crispy crust, while the inside was unbelievably soft and packed with cream cheese. Super buttery, flavorful, and rich without feeling heavy. Absolute must-order.

Garlic baguette was ridiculously good too — buttery and moist all the way through, not dry at all.

The Briochi felt very substantial; you can tell they don’t go light on ingredients.

As someone who’s tried way too many Asian/Korean bakeries, this is easily top tier for savoury breads.“

“Hands down my favorite pasta in the city. Every time we visit we’re blown away by the quality and service. The pasta is so fresh, and made to order. Recently had the cavatelli and saffron triangoli and easily some of the best pasta we’ve ever tasted. Always such a treat coming here!“

“Hell ya. I'd been managing my expectations since I was visiting a bakery at the end of the day. Turns out there was no need to worry—a wide variety of pastries and treats were on the counter, I was greeted warmly, and my questions on the composition of the bostock were patiently answered.

Croissants: excellent structure; the cheese option came with a generous crispy tuile attached.
Lemon bichon: great lemon flavour, the tangy curd and softened layers inside contrasting the sweet and crispy exterior. Maybe this batch could have used a bit more filling and been somehow messier, gnarlier even.
Bostock: another wonderful combination of flavours and textures, soft challah and jammy filling meets crunchy frangipane.
Chocolate chip cookie: a soft chew, crisp around the edge, that bite of unmelted chocolate, and just the right amount of salt on top for my liking.

Will need to return to try savoury treats, more sweet things, and cake??“

“I went here with my boyfriend for a quick lunch. We got the chicken wrap and the mix beef and chicken wrap. Wow the flavours, the crispy texture of the pita. It was wonderfully saucy too. Very good meal, highly recommend. I may fall asleep at my desk but it was worth it!“

“I come up from NYC to eat every few months in Toronto (best food city in the Americas in my view) and Bakerbots is one of my must visit bakeries. Everything tastes amazing and fresh and the customer service is excellent - they asked if they could place a vegan product in the same box with my other pastries. I didn't care as I'm not a vegan but I was impressed that they asked that. The nice young girl also asked what slice I'd like - details that other bakeries do not care about. Easily my favorite bakery in Toronto and better than anything we have in New York.“

“Im always in search of a vegan bakery because of my allergies and overall this one did not disappoint. They have a good selection of favorites. Today got a cinnamon roll. The frosting was great. Especially with the prior portion of the bun but didn't care for the sticky bottom. Would have liked more cinnamon to come thru but overall 4/5. The oatmeal muffin was fluffy and moist. Very good. 4.5/5. The strawberry crumble square was my favorite. Good flavor. Not too sweet. Overall will be back when I'm in town for sure.“

“Whenever I am around Spadina, I like dropping by here to pick up some buns or baked goods. I really like their pork and vegetables steamed buns (they make it fresh every day)! Just make sure you have cash with you and it's take away only (no seating inside). Overall, I recommend the steamed buns here if you are passing by.“

Until I came across this place, and I'm so glad I did! We tried their chorizo bread, breakfast sandwich, fudge balls, cinnamon bun, cheese & spinach danish, and a type of cake I don't remember the name of. All of it has been amazing, we went back this morning to get more! The prices are also incredible, especially since this is definitely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had, highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a local spot with good food and nice staff. ❤️“
