I’ve never been to Simon’s bakery, but I was born a baker.
I haven’t seen Simon in years, but we were side by side for a year once.
I didn’t realize it then, but now I see he too was bread to bake.
I remember only one dish Simon made that wasn’t a 10/10. He threw it out.

A wonderful bakery with a tempting selection of breads and pastries. The plum galette was excellent: generous, beautifully caramelised fruit and crisp, buttery pastry. Simple, seasonal and absolutely delicious.
