“6ix Donutz is hands down one of my fave donut spots in the city! The strawberry donut (made with real strawberries, btw) is next-level, and the cinnamon sugar one? Chef’s kiss. The staff is always super friendly and makes you feel right at home. And the best part? You can snag an even sweeter deal when you grab them on the TooGoodToGo app! Perfect for a late-night craving or a snack run for the office. Seriously, 10/10 vibes and donuts!“

“Absolutely fabulous donuts. I travel everywhere for donuts and LA has some of the best. This place is a true California style donut. Very similar to DK donuts, if you're familiar, same pink box and all. The staff is a pure delight. The woman at the front was so helpful and kind. I'm so sad that we don't have these in NY/NJ. The owner has truly made a perfect California donut in Toronto. Thank you for the delicious memories.“

“I could eat donuts forever. And unholy would definitely be on the list where I would say keep those donuts with me in a deserted island
The donuts were fresh and so soft and you can see the trays and trays of fresh donuts with all the flavours available too.
It doesn’t look like it’s busy during the week, however, it’s like a steady stream of customers coming one after another. As one goes, another set enters after a couple minutes.
Service was great too. Never felt rushed and I did let others go in front of me if they already knew the flavours they wanted
Will definitely be coming back when I’m in the downtown area! Definitely recommend checking them out“

“Letterbox Doughnuts was very accommodating and creative when asked to conjure up some special doughnuts that my husband’s tastebuds would enjoy and the creativity they showed by referencing his hockey team’s jersey colours in a skate shape doughnut! Thank you for making his day special!“

“Follow @bredgyeats for more food photos!
Chocolate Dip - Nice yeast donut, very airy and springy, good fermentation and doesn't feel oily at all. The chocolate dip is not too sweet but has a distinct cocoa flavor and is slightly gooey.
Apple Fritter - good airy structure, occasional apple cube, raisins, sugar frosting, but in general it's really bland.“

“Thank you to the lovely ladies that were working today! I ordered the 18 pack and didn’t realize that the weekly flavour had sesames in it (allergy). They quickly swapped it for me and even added some sprinkles when I told them it was for a friend’s birthday. Really appreciate it!“

“Isabella's Mochi Donut Boutique - have you ever had mochi? have you ever had anything made with rice flour? Well, then you've got a general sense of the texture for these interesting morsels. Yet, I'll be honest, it's not exactly the same as a standard mochi which is known for its super soft goo feel. Nope, these Isabella's mochi donuts have a crisp firmer exterior. The interior gives off a slightly firmer mochi chew which I really like and the best part is all the different flavours. I particularly appreciate that these donuts, though well decorated, aren't too sweet. I personally am not a big fan of the regular doughnut - I find them too sweet and all I can taste is the sugar.
I've had Isabella's donuts before but this is the first time I've ever received a box of Isabella's donuts as a gift and I have to say it was such a wonderful surprise! It came in a sleek black company bag, well packaged in its signature black box, and when you open it up and see all those little works of art - sublime!
Here are the donuts featured in the images:
- matcha
- honey pistachio
- double double
- cherry pie
- oolong milk tea mochi
- maple glaze
Each one had a nice light hint of the identified flavour. I liked that it wasn't overpowering and again, not too sweet, so I could actually appreciate what I was eating. They went well with our coffees and teas, that's for sure.
Now, this must be noted: these were the flavours that were available when I received the box but their flavours are always changing. Visit their store or website to see more current offerings. Their standards are always a good staple though - original, cinnamon sugar, and maple glaze.
One last thing - some might consider these donuts to be on the pricier end so it may not be an everyday item to go with my coffee. However, as a gift for someone or even just a treat for yourself, these Isabella's mochi donuts would definitely be a nice touch. I've been to a few of their stores as well and staff are always pleasant and helpful.
So, if you're in the mood to try something new, consider having an Isabella's Mochi donut!“

“This was my 1st time here as I was visiting my family in Toronto. The place is a quaint hole in the wall with a lot of street side charm. Entering felt a bit cramp given the setup and size, but wants you get to a table and are being served, you don't feel it. The wait was a bit long, at least 30 mins and I can see why: the food was really good! I got a meal that came with a bit of everything: pancakes, eggs, a biscuit, choice of bacon or sausage, and choice of breakfast potatoes or fruit.
The server was so friendly and welcoming. He assisted us and also offered us some apple fritters which were to die for. The hot chocolate with the house-made marshmallow was yummy. The food didn't disappoint: the pancakes and biscuit were the best I've ever had! Ordered the gravy as well to try and it really was good esp because I've never liked it when I've had it before elsewhere. The food really seemed home-made. My only issue was the potatoes, it had a bit of a frozen taste to it, like I could taste freezer burn or something. Other than that, everything was so delicious. I Def want to come back here when I visit Toronto!
Also parking is on the curb so you pay the meter, but wasn't a hassle to get.“
“Were always on the hunt for great donuts in TO. These are fluffy and light, but moist and a nice size as well. The Apple Fritter is loaded with fresh apple and I didn't find any of the donuts to be overly sweet or overbearing with toppings, but rather a perfect compliment to the dough. Its all about the dough and these guys have done it right!“

“We stopped by Bloomers in Burlington yesterday, for the first time, to get some donuts. The atmosphere is the place is very cozy and welcoming. The woman working behind the counter was very friendly and helped us with our order of a half dozen donuts of various flavours.
The donuts were very fresh and delicious!! Really impressed, even though we’re not vegan, the pastries did not lack in flavour at all!!The apple pie was our favourite, we’ll definitely be ordering again!“

“The best coffee in Toronto. The barista is an actual, REAL barista. The coffee is sooooooo good; it will be the only place I get coffee from now. I had the perfect temperature and silky foam for my latte. Very smooth and clean finish. I've tried many coffee shops in Toronto and their coffee tasted like they didn't clean the machine, not using dark roast for a latte. The station was exceptionally clean and tidy. It is so freaking difficult to find places that purge the steam wand after use and wipe the steam wand with a side of the cloth they didn't touch.“

“The donuts made here are excellent, specifically the filled ones. We purchased an assortment of 6 which saved us the tax. While the fritters were quite good, we have been spoiled by ones from another shop and these were not quite as good. We did however like that they also had peach fritters on offer. 6 donuts cost us $30 all in with nominal tip. This shop is worth a visit.“
