“Best bagels anywhere. I get the chazzer everytime. Best food item in Toronto and I’m a major foodie. Super cute patio.

Gotta say though, when I first ordered from here (on Ubereats), they were very generous with the salmon roe. It would be overflowing out of the sandwich. Now they are skimping on it - would love to see more salmon roe added back to the sandwich.“

“Oldest and best bagel place in Toronto. Light airy bagels not heavy and chewy. I remember the old days always had a line up outside on Bathurst St. Then later they became more efficient and less old school. It was about time. Service is not the best but acceptable.“

“I went here for the first time yesterday because I needed a coffee while waiting for my cat to finish her vet appointment. The barista was new (I didn’t know), but two other customers went up to her and asked if it was her first day and said she’ll do fine etc (I think it turned out that they both worked there too), and that was the nicest thing I’ve ever seen. 🥺 The coffee was also good. It wasn’t acidic at all, and I ended up buying a bag of it for my home.“

“If you haven't had Bubby's New York Bagels, you're missing out!! Must try Bagel Shop! My favourite spot in Toronto for fresh bagels and breakfast pastries. I don't know how they make the bagels as good as they do, but I love them for doing it! The cinnamon buns are so massive and delicious its incredible. I recenlty did a breakfast catering order and people were literally running to the table becasue of how good the pastries looked! And then they ran back twice as fast when they tasted how good they were! Can't wait to order again!“

“They have excellent bagels here. This is what you should come here for as they are absolutely delicious. No doubt some of the best in the downtown core.

However, I personally wouldn't order the soup or salad here again. The Caesar salad was not good, and the soup is straight from a can.

I can think of a few soup recipes that would actually be possible to prepare in that small space, in virtually no time, without a lot of ingredients, and without a stovetop.“

“I discovered The Bagel House at 1548 Bayview Avenue today. The service was excellent and my avocado veggie sesame bagel was sooo good! I treated myself to the apple & cherry strudel after and is yumwow a word? Well done!“

“Got a Too Good to Go order and they gave me 18 bagels (and a chocolate chip cookie), the value for money is insane, I just finished the bag yesterday. Even after 2 weeks, the bagels still tasted great and my family loved them. I'm gonna keep an eye out for more TGTG bags in the future, would definitely come back.“

“One of the best restaurants in the neighbourhood. I’ve had almost everything on the brunch menu at this point and it is all delicious. Their coffee is also outstanding.

The interior is beautiful and cozy and they have a great outdoor patio too.

“Had a few min before appt to grab a bagel and coffee. Raisin/cinnamon bagel was nice. Toasted well, buttered properly and cut very well. Coffee was a nice surprise too. Nice and mellow. The young ladies at the counter are friendly and quite efficient at getting orders ready. Thanks!!!!“

They have all kinds of bagels you needs with so many different cream cheese options to choose from.

“Nice bagels overall and definitely worth trying. The Jerusalem onion bagel was the standout for me super fresh, flavorful, and had a really nice texture. You can tell the bagels themselves are made well. The vegan cream cheese was decent but a little underwhelming since it didn’t have much flavor and could’ve been creamier or more seasoned. The turkey was unfortunately the low point because it had a slightly weird smell that threw me off a bit. Aside from that, the quality of the bagel itself really carried the experience. I’d come back again mainly for the bagels, especially the Jerusalem onion one.“
