Walking south to St.Clair I was craving a bagel & while bagel shops are few & far between these days we found one on the west side of the street, The Bagel House. A small tight space with some seats in the front window & a few tables packed tightly together, it is reminiscent in size of a New York deli or a bodega. The Bagel House is the best place in Toronto for wood-fired Montreal bagels (coming from someone who lived in Montreal for years). They add tons of cream cheese which is absolutely amazing. The staff is efficient. The prices are pretty reasonable! Lots of different options. My go to lunch place.
