“My favourite is the salmon sandwich on brioche. And the coffee is amazing. Also, these are the best croissants in Canada. Literally. I went to croisanteries in Montréal and they don’t even stand close. And no one in Toronto does better croissants.“
“I ordered the complete taster set because "why not?".Shannon was super easy to work with. Kwento bodieddd!I opened the boxes alongside my partner and we gasped at the beauty of them. Delicious. My favourite is the Vanilla Cardamom with Yema and Salted Caramel.5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Will always recommend!“
“The pastries are a bit pricey but very tasty. I was a little disappointed by the selection of drinks as I do not drink coffee. But all in all would visit again.Wheelchair accessibility: There's two or three steps to get into the space.“
“I ordered the 6'' passionfruit flavoured birthday cake. As I picked up the cake, I also took a triple chocolate cake-in-a-cup. This is not a bakery where you can choose your pastries inside. There is a counter for orders and the menu is displayed, so go with what you have in mind. It's a bit pricey but the pastries are extremely fresh. I was surprised by the size of the birthday cake, which I thought was ridiculous. However, from the very first bite of the cake, which had a strong passion fruit flavour, I enjoyed it and so did everyone else. The cake cup was also very tasty and if you like chocolate, the triple chocolate won't disappoint. Should I order from them again? Most definitely, I highly recommend it.“
“The yuzu croissant ($5.50 CAD) was flaky and had a nice punchy flavour without being overpoweringly sweet. It had a floral and citrus taste to it. There are no prices listed for any food items and it would be nice to have them labelled rather than having to ask for the price of individual items. Overall, nice service and pretty interior.“
“I knew this place would be great when I came to their opening in Yorkville. They never fail to be the best - the staff are enthusiastic about the very tasty cakes and the place always has a nice atmosphere. A good treat for sure! The photo is the Nutella tiramisu!“

“Tasty desserts. Banana pudding and cupcakes are pretty good. Staff was welcoming, place has nice sitting inside but felt pretty busy around that time.I might pay another visit at some point in the future to try their other stuff on the menu.“
“This cozy place has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, generous portions, affordable prices and wonderful dessert. The place is very clean with a nice seating area. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.“
“Wonderful new addition to the neighborhood. I'm admittedly a pretty big coffee snob, and my first latte was *excellent*! Great selection of sweet and savory treats (vegan options too), super-friendly service, and cozy, inviting atmosphere. Welcome to the neighborhood! “so surprised to find this cute little cafe tucked away in the corner of st patrick and queen! the vibes r sooo cozy and cute and while it doesnt seem very fancy it feels so quaint their desserts look super fancy tho!! the cakes in the display r soo pretty and they offer piped flower cupcakes in case ur not up for a whole cake - rarely see that at bakeries. they akso have sandwhich offerings and savoury pastries like croissants. the lady working here is very cute and nice and since the store is not super visible there arent a lot of people here - could be a good place to work i think!“
“Why is this place next door to my gym? Every time I go for a workout I am compelled to pop in for a choco-passion pastry thing. They are just SO GOOD! All the pastries are so delicious. This bakery is a hidden gem. I’m glad I don’t live closer otherwise I would be here every day.“
“I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful staff at Golden Wheat Bakery & Pastry. Myself and several friends felt more than welcomed and taken care of while we enjoyed an evening there. Daniel, specifically, was a wonderful help and provided excellent service. We even got to briefly speak with the owners, who were beyond accommodating. I would recommend this establishment to anyone; a great place to quietly do work, chat with friends, or relax after a long day. Both food and beverages are great, as well as the warm, welcoming atmosphere. If you want a new cafe spot, this is it!“
“Nice and cozy place. Great coffee and a variety of freshly baked yumz! They have traditional pastry as well as gluten-free options, such as macarons and almond flour muffins/cookies. The stuff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick and delicious coffee fix ☕️?“
“Absolutely gorgeous looking pastries. Not only do they look good, they also taste great. Light and airy pastry with a thin, golden, delicately crispy crust. Creamy and rich filling without being too sweet. The shiny top glaze with beautiful designs is eye-catching and delicious as well. These eclairs are on the pricier side but quite reasonable for this level of craftsmanship. They do get dry pretty quickly so I recommend finishing it in the same day.“
“I love this patisserie. My Belgium friend introduced them to me almost 25 years ago. Since then, this has been my go-to spot for baked goods. Whenever I am in the area, I have to make a trip there. My favorite is the apricot tart. Love the buttery taste of the crossiants and danishes. Their desserts are not too sweet.“
“This bakery reminds me so much of the Portuguese bakeries I grew up with in Cape Town. They've got every Portuguese confection under the sun including savoury items like rissois (dried cod OR meat "croquette") to die for. All the bread was phenomenal but sadly they don't make corn bread which is a much-loved Portuguese staple. The place is scrupulously clean, the lady behind the counter was friendly and polite. The pasteis da nata were straight out of the oven - I mean PLEASE!The assortment of items is massive.A gem of a place. Warm Portuguese hospitality from the moment you enter this heavenly place.“
“It is definitely one of the top croissants bakeries in Toronto. I got to try a few of the flavours of their flaky pastry. They have more classic variants like pan du chocolate and Nutella filled croissant but also more contemporary flavours. One thing I really loved was the almond croissants, which are filled generously with a mixture of almond paste and chocolate. Absolutely amazing. We had some of the savoury pasties, they are great if you want a quick bite. But if that is not enough the bread ? is very good as well.“
“Ordered the Grilled Chorizo Croiffle Benedict. It was very filling and tasty. I have tried my fair bit of hollandaise sauce from different places, and this one cuts very close to my absolute favourite spot to get the sauce , Markham station. I was able to finish the portion and was very full. Good portion and lots of potatoes ,as you can see from the picture. It's pricey, but I'm glad I found another spot where I can get good hollandaise sauce. It's a cute setting where seating arrangements are at the back and one needs to go through café.“
“My favorite place in the area for both myself & catering for the office. Ardi and the staff are always friendly and smiling! Their food is the best and I pretty much love everything they sell ? (Their matcha latte is the best I've had!) Ardi is very helpful and accomodating with catering orders and makes the process very easy and painless. Also, the food is always very nicely presented and they always arrive on time! It's also a very big plus that they open early when you need to have breakfast catered for the office or if you need to grab food on your way to work! I visit here whenever I need a little pick me up while working at the office ?“
“A nice cozy patisserie with a lot of great looking cakes and pastriesThe cozy feel is an eclectic vibe with a lot of items to look at and a lot of local vendors having items available for purchase. Looks like a lot of businesses try and help each other out on this stretch of bayview and Leaside areaService was great. Never rushed to order and once we were done and going to grab a seat, they said you can get coffee refills at the coffee station. I have not seen any other patisserie do that. And it would definitely make me want to buy more treats cuz coffee and cakes and pastries just go hand in hand lolSummers in bayview midtown is also awesome and should he your next pastry patio outing. Even when it’s busy, you still feel some sort of seclusion, which is niceParking can be tough, but grab that green p parking as you see itGreat job overall!“
“I finally had the chance to visit Bomou with my fam and it was a lovely experience from start to finish! We had the lemon meringue tart, bostock (brioche with almonds and flavoured with orange), apple caramel cookies, butter croissant, a piece of pie, a baguette, and an earl grey canele. To drink we had the coffee, an oat milk cappuccino, and the lavender lemonade! We also bought some of the loose leaf mint tea as a gift. Everyone adored what they ordered! All of the pastries were beautiful to the eye and wonderful on the palate! Flavours such as the orange in the bostock, the lemon in the tart and even the earl grey in the canele were fragrant and gentle, never overpowering or overwhelming! Beautiful texture to all the foods and even the drinks were impressive and expertly crafted! Their coffee is some of the very very best I have had in Canada. (Rich and velvety, non-astringent and not-sharp.) If you want a proper cup of coffee you’ll find it here!!! Their lavender lemonade is gorgeous! I love lavender and found this to be a delicate and refreshing combination and recommend you definitely try it out!!! (Plus the bottle is lovely!) We all were impressed with the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff and were amazed by the talent and creativity of their baker/chef! Thank you Boumou for a delicious experience!!!!!“
“A great addition to the neighbourhood, which was sorely missing a higher quality bakery. The sweets and cakes are, of course, delicious, but don't sleep on the savory sandwiches. Their Chicken Coronation is a combo that I didn't know that I needed in my life.“
“Hey,I have never visited their bakery but I work at Audi Queensway and she is one of our client and bring some pastries I really don’t know what are they called. One of my colleagues shared them with me and I am so amazed with taste. It’s sooo yummy and amazing. I wish to visit them.“
“The best, the best l, the best! Worthy to come everyday. Signature luxurious desserts and coffee - best quality. Pleasant simple atmosphere, friendly stuff. If you are downtown Toronto - don’t miss a chance. Can be a good way to recharge your batteries after shopping. Loved the place, will come back for more.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly door entrance“
“I got Empanadas and churros. AMAZING!!!! The chorizo empanada was one of the best I got 3 and probably can have some more. Churro dulce del leche was a perfect combination. The only thing was the countumer service very slowwww. I went to the Harbourfront location.“
“There is 'big A' ACCESSIBILITY, wherein establishments make themselves a welcoming environment to those with disabilities and special needs; then there is 'little a' accessibility, where they will manage, tolerate, and make you feel uncomfortable at best. I'd like to give Future Bakery at the corner of Brunswick and Bloor a solid 5/5 little a's for their (lack) of AODA aware service today. I don't think members of your community who have lived here for decades deserve to leave your establishment crying because of the lack of knowledge or compassion from your staff and service. Step up and perhaps (re)train everyone re: AODA guidelines? I will no longer be returning. LEVEL UP Future Bakery , thanks for adding insult to injury: your takeout cups are faulty, and mine fell out from the bottom including pouring my hot coffee all over me.“
“Omg... the cherry Danish is AMAZING... first time going in here to grab some sweets with hubby.. we grab some cherry Danish, chocolate melon bread and a beef curry bread.. The cherry Danish took us out.. they are so delicious, they are so favorable... I want to go back and grab a box of them.. the teller that was there was so kind , told us that their melon bread is almost like a Mexican concha, but BETTER and he ain't lied about it, it's soft and has more taste to it, he was so nice and kind.. definitely going back for more danishes and other things to try out..10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️s if you ask me..“
