“This place is a sure gem! Everything from the top notch service to the clean and neat environment, to the exquisite desserts. We were so impressed. I had the 'Fruitmania' and it was very good. It was the first time trying ashta and the more I ate it, the more I fell in love with it. It was perfectly paired with the strawberry and mango juice. The right amount of sweetness! Ali, the owner, was so kind and attentive. We most definitely will be back! Can't wait for summer to enjoy the wonderful options for cold desserts and beverages. Thank you!“

“Hell ya. I'd been managing my expectations since I was visiting a bakery at the end of the day. Turns out there was no need to worry—a wide variety of pastries and treats were on the counter, I was greeted warmly, and my questions on the composition of the bostock were patiently answered.
Croissants: excellent structure; the cheese option came with a generous crispy tuile attached.
Lemon bichon: great lemon flavour, the tangy curd and softened layers inside contrasting the sweet and crispy exterior. Maybe this batch could have used a bit more filling and been somehow messier, gnarlier even.
Bostock: another wonderful combination of flavours and textures, soft challah and jammy filling meets crunchy frangipane.
Chocolate chip cookie: a soft chew, crisp around the edge, that bite of unmelted chocolate, and just the right amount of salt on top for my liking.
Will need to return to try savoury treats, more sweet things, and cake??“

“Omg this is right next to my office and I'm just finding it out.
I recently bought cupcakes from here and they were amazing 👏. I bought red velvet and butter cream flower ones and it's delicious. My favorite though was butter cream ones as they're mild in sweetness and melt in the mouth yet satisfied my cake portion craving. I hate if my cake or cupcake doesn't have balance in ratios.
I'm gonna try other stuff too.
The ambience is cute and unique just good vibes and delicious food“
“Follow @bredgyeats for more food posts!
This cupcake offers a moist vanilla sponge and a gently sweet experience, crowned by a cloud of silky buttercream that melts softly across the palate. Within the hidden center is a vibrant passionfruit-yuzu curd, bursting with bright acidity, fragrant passionfruit notes, and delicate hints of citrus bitterness from the yuzu.“

“L'Amour Cafe is a total standout! Their medium roast coffee is beautifully balanced rich, smooth, and full of flavor without any harsh bitterness. But what truly sets them apart is their extraordinary food and sweet selection. From heavenly pastries and divine desserts to delicious, perfectly prepared savory dishes, every single bite is incredible. Fresh, delicious, and made with so much care. This place is a must-visit for any food and coffee lover!“

“The two croissant sandwich collaborations with Pai Restaurant sounded too exciting to pass up, so I had to give them a try.
🥐 Green Curry Grilled Chicken — with mushrooms, peppers, bamboo shoots, mixed vegetables, and Thai basil.
🥐 Thai Grilled Chicken — with tamarind and toasted rice sauce, fried shallots, and makrut lime leaves.
Both sandwiches were delicious, but the Thai Grilled Chicken with the tamarind and toasted rice sauce was the standout for me. The flavours were bolder and more memorable.
And can we talk about the croissant? Absolutely excellent—beautifully flaky, buttery, and the perfect vessel for both fillings.“

“Really nice butter croissant! I haven’t tried anything else yet but if croissants are good usually everything else is! It’s the bakery/patisserie test I always do as a French person 😉. Looking forward to trying other patisseries.“

“Great cafe, sweet shop. Enjoyed a very good Americano, super smooth (and surprisingly, they bring it to your table). Busy, but cozy. Queue but fast and friendly. Seating, tables small and bit crowded but not bad at all. Seating outside seems ok but the noise, traffic, construction in the street are discouraging. Lots of locals there so a good place. Prices (drinks) are hard to find, not posted anywhere, but one coffee and one fresh orange juice was 16$, so nothing cheap here.“

“I finally had the chance to visit Bomou with my fam and it was a lovely experience from start to finish! We had the lemon meringue tart, bostock (brioche with almonds and flavoured with orange), apple caramel cookies, butter croissant, a piece of pie, a baguette, and an earl grey canele. To drink we had the coffee, an oat milk cappuccino, and the lavender lemonade! We also bought some of the loose leaf mint tea as a gift. Everyone adored what they ordered! All of the pastries were beautiful to the eye and wonderful on the palate! Flavours such as the orange in the bostock, the lemon in the tart and even the earl grey in the canele were fragrant and gentle, never overpowering or overwhelming! Beautiful texture to all the foods and even the drinks were impressive and expertly crafted! Their coffee is some of the very very best I have had in Canada. (Rich and velvety, non-astringent and not-sharp.) If you want a proper cup of coffee you’ll find it here!!! Their lavender lemonade is gorgeous! I love lavender and found this to be a delicate and refreshing combination and recommend you definitely try it out!!! (Plus the bottle is lovely!) We all were impressed with the helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff and were amazed by the talent and creativity of their baker/chef! Thank you Boumou for a delicious experience!!!!!“

“Toronto Review 5/Many: The two of us stopped in here after going to the nearby location of Mogouyan. As it was already pretty late in the evening and we were both pretty full, neither of us was in the mood for coffee and just wanted a small snack. There weren't that many options left, of course, as it was late, so, along with a 3.95 CAD Heartwood Farm & Cidery organic sour cherry drink, I ordered a Banana Caramel Cookie, and the friendly cashier there added a second one for free. Aside from being a very kind gesture, I presume the place was closing soon.
The cookie was maybe 2.50 CAD, if I recall correctly, and it was good. I was slightly worried that it would be too sweet, but the caramel flavor wasn't super strong, and there was a good mixture of that and a light banana flavor. It was also surprisingly not too dry for how late it was. Overall, it was tasty, and the drink was also good.“

“I ordered a birthday cake here the first time. I expected the writings will be placed on top of the retangular cake. There are lots of empty spaces... why they put the writing on a very tiny piece of chocolate and put it at the side of the bottom. It was hardly to see what was in the writing. For what occasion and for who! Quite disappointed! And they charged me a price of $17 more according to their listed price of $65 for a 8"x12" cake. Plus an extra of $20 for the pair of baby shoes (a plastic toy) for decoration. I also tried their bread, also find the textures are hard to chew... I wont return again.“

“There is 'big A' ACCESSIBILITY, wherein establishments make themselves a welcoming environment to those with disabilities and special needs; then there is 'little a' accessibility, where they will manage, tolerate, and make you feel uncomfortable at best. I'd like to give Future Bakery at the corner of Brunswick and Bloor a solid 5/5 little a's for their (lack) of AODA aware service today. I don't think members of your community who have lived here for decades deserve to leave your establishment crying because of the lack of knowledge or compassion from your staff and service. Step up and perhaps (re)train everyone re: AODA guidelines? I will no longer be returning. LEVEL UP Future Bakery , thanks for adding insult to injury: your takeout cups are faulty, and mine fell out from the bottom including pouring my hot coffee all over me.“

“Chou Lab made a special visit to Midtown Toronto on August 29th and I am soooo happy that you came to the Eglinton Centre Marketplace. I stopped a couple demolishing an Oreo Cookie Tiramisu and ran back to grab me a slice. It was delicious and now I regret not buying more! Thank you. The flavour, the texture, the freshness and artistry cannot be beat. Come baaaack! I guess I may need to go to Etobicoke to get my delicious dessert fix. Great Job!“
