“Indulging in the one-bear mousse cake and grape cakes was a delightful experience. The bear mousse cake stole the show with its rich, velvety texture and a perfect balance of sweetness. Each bite revealed layers of chocolatey goodness, making it a true decadent treat. The grape cakes, on the other hand, offered a refreshing contrast, combining the natural sweetness of grapes with a moist and light cake. Together, they created a harmonious dessert duo that left a lasting impression. Highly recommended for those seeking a delightful blend of flavors and textures.“
“Janice is very nice and friendly. She takes time to understand the need for the occasion and explains different options clearly. I have opted for 5-inch strawberry mousse cake and it was so delicious! Will definitely go back to try the chestnut and mango cakes next time!“
“April Sweets truly made our experience unforgettable! Ordering online was a breeze, offering fair pricing and exceptional delivery service. The birthday cake for my daughter wasn't just memorable; it was a masterpiece of artistic design paired with a nostalgically delightful taste. A heartfelt thank you to April Sweets for making it a piece of cake!“
“The best Barbari in Toronto! They only make their bread on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and they sell out fast⚡. We see people come from all over the city and buy multiple loaves. We do the same. We buy several loaves and cut them into small squares and freeze them until our purchase the following week. Definitely a Hidden Gem in Toronto!“
“I take cake pretty seriously, and this is some GOOD cake and reasonably priced. Their honey cakes (chocolate , regular and coffee) are amazing. They also have many other pastries as well. Everyone there is extremely kind as well, I wish i knew about this place “
“We had such a great experience ordering a Ras Malai cake for my baby shower. The cake was outstanding - so soft and deliciously flavoured. Everyone went back for seconds. On top of that - the presentation was gorgeous! Manal is also lovely to work with! Thank you for being a part of our day!“
“Not a cheap place and everything from the sign, interior, display, staff uniform, and packaging dictates the pricing. For these pricier bakeries, I feel as though I can be a bit more picky as opposed to your mom 'n pop, corner bakery that you go to on a regular basis for a loaf of bread, some dinner rolls. Viennoiseries were ~$5ea (crossaints, cinnamon rolls, other flaky pastries), while small cakes were $10-12ea. I saw a serves 4ppl sized chocolate cake for $55, so it's definitely NOT your neighbourhood place, but more a special occasion/date café. The Good: - beautiful sign, bright interior/display, good signage in front of each item, so you have an idea of what you're getting - all items looked like a piece of art - female staff (Luann?) was friendly as she offered me a sample of something that I asked her a question about. That was very appreciated! The Needs Improvement: - overcharged for the wrong item, I'm gonna assume it was an accident, but I did have to go back in, get a refund, repay and all that jazz - although fancy, the packaging was soo BIG! I got 2 pastries and it was put in a huge cake box (did not appear recyclable as it had those clear windows). I'd prefer something less fancy, environmentally-friendly like a paperbag! - Cinnamon Roll was a good size, crispy, but slightly dry. It was placed in the closed glass showcase, but maybe exposed for too long. It was DELICIOUS, but again, dry due to exposure, not necessarily inferior baking Between the 2 items, a pastry and a cake, I preferred the pastry. Although everything looks like art, you're gonna pay for it. Definitely check your receipt before leaving.“
“Ordered a honey cake for my mom's birthday this morning and she loved it! Said it was very tasty and you could tell it was good quality. Came beautifully packaged with a little treat on top of the package and a happy birthday note on the cake. Thank you!!“
“French fries were perfect! So is fenugreek. But I cannot say the same for other products. Kuymak was clearly bad. The meat in the pastry had the smell and taste of tail fat. Maybe he has a lover. I do not like . The egg was not cooked enough, I sent it to be cooked and it was still runny. The staff is very kind. They offered me dessert because I didn't eat eggs. They are generally friendly. A clean business. We will go again and recommend it “
“Omg... the cherry Danish is AMAZING... first time going in here to grab some sweets with hubby.. we grab some cherry Danish, chocolate melon bread and a beef curry bread.. The cherry Danish took us out.. they are so delicious, they are so favorable... I want to go back and grab a box of them.. the teller that was there was so kind , told us that their melon bread is almost like a Mexican concha, but BETTER and he ain't lied about it, it's soft and has more taste to it, he was so nice and kind.. definitely going back for more danishes and other things to try out..10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️s if you ask me..“
“So this boutique shop is tucked away in the unit right next to Yuzu No Ki (sharing a space w/ Tora Sushi). My gf and I did not even notice it the first time around when we visited Yuzu No Ki (which is also a 5 star shop btw).Admittedly, I'm not the biggest mochi fan, but the quality of these mochis were incredible. My gf ordered an assorted box of 6 mochis.Very fresh and I really liked the cream filled mochis more than the regular filling ones. Mango in particular, struck a deep chord w/ me. I love mango anything and the mango mochi did not disappoint. To get the best tasting experience, take your refrigerated mochis out and let them rest until room temperature before consuming. I found that the dough and filling had a better mouth feel upon waiting a bit after taking them out of the fridge.“
“These Bundt cakes are so delicious! I have tried all the flavors and here are my top 3. At number 3, it's the Chocolate Chocolate Chip. It is super rich and super moist. I love it! At number 2, it's the carrot cake. Did you know they add pineapples to it? It's so good! My favorite is the White Chocolate Raspberry. The tartness from the raspberry and the sweet cream cheese and butter frosting just takes it to another level of deliciousness! Yum! As always, you must try these for yourself!“
“This store serves fresh Turkish sweets. Store is really clean and customer friendly. They offer you sweets so that you can taste it prior to buying it. Attendant or owner is also a good person who also makes recommendations when you need it.“
“We ordered a cake from le delice for our wedding party and it was AMAZING!!! The design was exactly what we wanted so beautiful but most importantly it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the red velvet cake and it was so moist with a delicious cream cheese cream. Our guests are still talking about our cake to this day. We always order our cakes from ledelice. Highly recommend!“
“Received your donuts for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. They are the most delicious donuts I’ve ever tasted. The lemon meringue, chocolate cheesecake and cinnamon bun were my favourites. They stay fresh even the next day. We will definitely be ordering more. I have shared the name with family and friends.“
“I recently had to organize a last-minute 18th birthday party for my son and needed a cake to serve 40 people. I was in a bit of a panic until a friend recommended Denj. I visited their shop and was warmly welcomed with a coffee and offered a sample of their cakes. The taste was amazing, and I knew I had found the perfect cake for the occasion. True to their word, Denj delivered the cake to my house on the day of the party, and it was an absolute showstopper! The style and taste were beyond expectations, and my guests were equally impressed. It’s so important to support local businesses, and I’m thrilled to have found such a gem in Denj. I highly recommend them for any special occasion!”“
“A friend introduced me to Paris Calling about 6 months ago. I've been going weekly ever since. The owner is Paris-trained. (Apparently she worked in the kitchen of the Eiffel tower!) Authentic French food. Always friendly.Prices have increased a bit but that's because ingredient costs have increased... But the food is definitely worth the price.“

“Most delicious and interesting coffee in all of Toronto. I never thought orange toffee latte, black sesame latte or rose yuzu latte could exist and get you addicted to the flavours. Why spend money at tims or starbucks when one can get handcrafted drinks right on yonge and sheppard. highly recommended“
“I placed an order for strawberry shortcake to be delivered to my sister. It was sent at the appointed time, with the cake being in perfect condition. The way it was boxed looked so premium! It was the highlight of my sister’s week, and according to everyone who ate it, it was so delicious. It was a seamless transaction from start to finish.? ??“
“Excellent cafe for some me-time or a date. The place was clean, pretty, and the food and drinks are all highly detail-oriented and presentable for cute pictures! My little sister and I came and we both got a drink and a pastry. With tip it came to around $32, so it’s definitely not a cheap eats type of spot, but if you want to spend a little money on yourself without breaking the bank, and also enjoy a serene environment to decompress, this is a great spot! Might be back soon for the afternoon tea set when I want to splurge again!“
“Been wanting to try this place. We high tea there one afternoon. The location was easy to find with parking on site. The food was good (took a bit longer to make) but they tasted good. The server was polite and friendly. I’d say it’s a good location to meet-up and chat since it’s not crowded like some of the other overly popular afternoon tea places.“
“This cute patisserie is located inside JTown. It reminds me of Duo Patisserie a lot with the style of the pastries, the similar tart crust and the expensive prices (each pastry ranges from $5 to $8).My gf and I tried the basque cheesecake and the lumiere pastry tart.Basque cheesecake: Really light, fluffy and perfect burnt topping. The cheesecake was rich but still moist.Lumiere pastry tart: The crust was made from a REALLY good cookie crumble. The cheese mousse was lemony and the blueberry yogurt inside cut through the richness of the cheese perfectly.Sadly, because of how expensive this place is (and how far it is from me), I don't think I'd be a regular. I do want to come back and try the Abbie (chocolate raspberry) and Violetta (ube sweet cream) tarts though. They just popped out at me in the dessert window but my gf was feeling the other ones more haha.“
“I've been buying bread and cakes from Tastee for years and years. The strawberry shortcake is my favourite and service is always awesome. I've sent many referrals over the years, including wedding cake orders. Please never stop making the strawberry shortcake. :)“
“Since I can't have too much sugar for my health, I'm eating this cake. I strongly advise everyone to try this cake because, as a medical professional, I am aware of all the negative impacts sugar has on the body. This not only satisfies your appetite for sweets but also fulfills your health. I advise everyone to eat this cake and lead a healthy lifestyle if you have health concerns but yet want to enjoy your celebration!“
“We had the corn cake which was quite good. It could be better if the corn flavour were more pronounced. It was too mild and only the cream seemed to have the corn flavour. The cake inside was plain - good still but no flavour. Not too sweet which was great. There was a lot of cream though, would have preferred a balance between cake and cream. The 5” cake was $38.They included a sparkler instead of a candle and a birthday greeting which was an appreciated touch as we were getting it for a friend’s birthday. We also had the soya mochi cake which I thought had way too much cream and had a stretchy stringy characteristic (similar to okra slime, which is probably the mochi-ness). I didn’t like this one too much. It was on sale as Today’s Special at $12.50 instead of $17.50. The cakes all looked very good to eat, very pretty. But flavour wise, it doesn’t quite hit the spot on expectations on flavour.Service was excellent- the lady behind the counter was patient and she deceived the cakes pretty well giving a list of ingredients. They had many other good looking cakes which I want to try.Take out only.“
“Tucked away in the Gal's Sushi plaza (behind Gal's Sushi) at Warden and Highway 7.My friend ordered a 6 pc assorted box of mochi bubbles to try for dessert on a saturday evening.Chestnut matcha: I've been eating stronger and stronger matcha over the years so my tolerance/preference for DARK matcha is very high. So while university me would've said this was good, it was too light on the matcha flavour for me (the chestnut flavour also wasn't very pronounced).Mango grapefruit: My goodness. This one was my runaway favourite. If I ever come back I might ONLY order this one. The flavour was super pronounced and deep. The cream was nicely balanced.Strawberry rose: Again, not that strong. The scent was very florally and the cross section was super pretty (great for IG) but the flavour could've been stronger. I do think it places 2nd behind the mango grapefruit though.Coconut latte: The most mid one in my opinion. It literally tasted like a cream puff. The coconut taste was LIGHT as hell. It tasted like something I could've whipped up at home.Bubble tea: The tapiocas in the middle made this one taste a lil too ooey goeey for me simply because the mochi is already kinda chewy and then when you add tapioca into the inside mix, it starts to get a lil weird texturally inside your mouth (maybe it's just me). Flavour was like milk tea flavoured.Taro salted egg yolk: Very unique flavour and in my top 3 after mango and strawberry prolly. I thought it would be weird eating salted yolk in its non-molten liquid form inside a dessert. This lil pocket changed my perception. Salted egg yolk tastes quite nice cold haha.I definitely think I should've swapped out coconut latte or the bubble tea flavour for the oreo chocolate flavour. The chocolate sponge in that one would've undoubtedly had a stronger flavour. At $31.99 for a box of 6, these desserts are definitely not worth it. But every so often if you want to indulge go ahead! I would only come here once in a blue moon. Because of the quality of the mochi bubbles, I'll award 4 stars.“
“This place is a MUST TRY, Ive been here a couple of times but have only good things to say about it. Amazing service, lady at the front is very kind, the store itself has a nice design and vibe to it and the food is flat out amazing. I would reccomend to try it out!Vegetarian options: They have a whole section on fresh juices made from fruits“
