“Just was passing by and the view through the window attracted me to come inside. Incredible taste of buns, rolls etc. They have lots of options to choose.
There is a couple of tables so you can stay inside as well. Coffee-tea menu available.

“This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly. The breakfast is awesome; their quiche and strudels are to die for. My favorite are the rum balls 🤤. They have a beautiful little patio as well. If you are looking for tasty and unique desserts, this is a great place to visit. 🍮 ☕️ 🍰 🍳 😋“

“Right beside my favourite Italian place, Crudo is a Portuguese bakery/grocery store called Caldense.

The place is not that big and has limited seating which is more ideal for a quick visits rather than long stays.

They sell some imported Portuguese groceries, freshly baked goods deli and sandwiches. They also served classic breakfast so this place is great for brunch/lunch.

I've been on a lookout for an Azorean queijadas ever since we had this in Portugal. I've looked everywhere for a place in Toronto that sells this delicious pastries but sadly they don't sell it here as well.

Had the cappucino and it was strong and smooth. Also tried their authentic pasteis de nata which was flaky and buttery but a little bit sweet for my liking.

Staff were amazing especially Nicole. Definitely a good place to try if you're around the area.“

“Chou Lab made a special visit to Midtown Toronto on August 29th and I am soooo happy that you came to the Eglinton Centre Marketplace. I stopped a couple demolishing an Oreo Cookie Tiramisu and ran back to grab me a slice. It was delicious and now I regret not buying more! Thank you. The flavour, the texture, the freshness and artistry cannot be beat. Come baaaack! I guess I may need to go to Etobicoke to get my delicious dessert fix. Great Job!“

“I had my sister’s wedding on Sunday. I ordered 150 pieces of those “dark almond cookies with almonds”. I ordered them 2 days before the wedding and they were able to accommodate my last minute request! I was happy to receive them very fresh. I had a lot of our guests come and ask where we got them from because in Libya we serve this type of sweet/dessert at our weddings and special occasions.“

“I am absolutely speechless. I just tried one piece of baklava from Narin Pastry and it was a life-changing experience. It literally MELTS in your mouth! I was in Turkey last year and went to what is considered the best baklava spot in the country, and I can say without a doubt that this is just as good, if not better. The flakiness, the perfect sweetness, the quality... it's all there. My only wish is that this was a full-scale cafe or restaurant because if people knew how good this was, the place would be packed 24/7. I am now on a mission to try every single thing on their menu.
