This small shop about 6 minutes east of Long Branch GO station is well worth the stop. Only a few seats for eat in but the food travels well too. And there is a park close by to eat your treat.“

I'd like to give Future Bakery at the corner of Brunswick and Bloor a solid 5/5 little a's for their (lack) of AODA aware service today. I don't think members of your community who have lived here for decades deserve to leave your establishment crying because of the lack of knowledge or compassion from your staff and service. Step up and perhaps (re)train everyone re: AODA guidelines? I will no longer be returning.“

I got one during a food festival, and that was the stuff I needed. They offer traditional flavors and a more modern one. The glaze is awesome.

“We visited the Au Pain Dore in Front Street near St Laurence Market. A real treat for our breakfast. Sadly only discovered on our last morning. Such a lovely atmosphere in this Cafe with French music playing. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. There is a long history of really fresh bakery items and you taste it. We had a croissant with cheese and ham as well as sourdough bread with ham and cheese all accompanied with an Americano coffee. The food was so delicious and the coffee strong.
There is a good choice of different food available from pastries, muffins, yoghurt with granola and bread with different fillings as well as croissants, which are fresh and fluffy with a nice crunch to it.
Definitely recommend this cafe. Would love to come back.“

To date, other than in Italy itself, these were BY FAR the best cannoli I’ve ever tasted. My daughter, who is as picky as they come, fell in love with the lemon flavor with the chocolate lined shell. My wife, who is Taiwanese and who isn’t really a fan of cannoli, thoroughly enjoyed the pistachio, lemon and gingerbread flavors. Yes, she ate more than me. Lol. I would recommend Holy Cannoli to anyone, Italian or otherwise. “The Best Ham Sandwich. Recently I had to drive down to Montreal to help a family member. I didn't want to stop along the way so I stopped at Ma Maison to stock up on food for the road. I bought a ham sandwich and some wonderful pastries. I think it may have been the best ham sandwich I ever had. The bread was both crispy and soft. The ham, that perfect mix of salty and sweet, the lettuce and tomato and mustard just made it amazing. When I trained as a chef, the chef who trained me said "Do the simple things with care and attention, this will let people know the quality of your work." Absolutely phenomenal matcha lattee, no clumps, prepared properly and with a nice amount of Macha, the mango coconut pudding was very well made, and as i read the sign I thought we must try the cookies! Absolutely the best pickles and a delightful variety of pickles. Cheeses are fresh and delicious too. The frozen pierogies are very delicious with the sour cream you can buy there. “Right beside my favourite Italian place, Crudo is a Portuguese bakery/grocery store called Caldense.

The place is not that big and has limited seating which is more ideal for a quick visits rather than long stays.

They sell some imported Portuguese groceries, freshly baked goods deli and sandwiches. They also served classic breakfast so this place is great for brunch/lunch.

I've been on a lookout for an Azorean queijadas ever since we had this in Portugal. I've looked everywhere for a place in Toronto that sells this delicious pastries but sadly they don't sell it here as well.

Had the cappucino and it was strong and smooth. Also tried their authentic pasteis de nata which was flaky and buttery but a little bit sweet for my liking.

Staff were amazing especially Nicole. Definitely a good place to try if you're around the area.“
