Every visit is memorable, and last night was no exception. My girlfriend and I celebrated a milestone, and the staff went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. Our server, Alex, made sure every detail was perfect (it’s the second time we've been lucky enough to have him). From the personalized reservation card on the table to the exquisite wine selection, served at the perfect temperature and topped up at just the right moment, everything was flawless. “nice restaurant. food was good. my half rack of lamb was good although I have had better at that price. it was sitting in a very salty sauce..the waiter took it back and put my food on a clean plate without the sauce. didn't even offer to pay my espresso for the trouble. a little crowded as well. my amarena ricotta cheesecake was the highlight.“

“I saw a paper flyer in the mail & from the photos, they looked too good to be true & seemed like they were generated using Ai, but from the time I entered, I saw exactly as what I saw in the pictures.

The staff was very friendly & knew what they were selling. They are well trained & very verbal with their customers.

I purchased 2 salads with protein. Decent fulfilling portions & the quality was amazing. Pricing was below $18 each. I am definitely going back on a regular basis to try more options.

I must say that I have always wondered why more restaurants are not focusing on providing the general population quality & healthy choices.

I wish some restaurants can also cater for people with diabetes, by creating menus with low carb / “diabetes corner”.“

“This is exactly the kind of neighbourhood Italian restaurant you hope to have around the corner. Truly family-owned, warm, welcoming and wonderfully authentic — you can feel the care behind everything they do.

The food is fantastic, especially the sugo. Rich, comforting and the kind of sauce that tastes like it’s been made the same way in someone’s family kitchen for generations. The menu is also incredibly well priced for the quality, which feels increasingly rare in our city these days.

But what really makes this place special is the service.

You’re treated less like a customer and more like someone they’re genuinely happy to have in their restaurant.

One of those wonderful, unpretentious local places that we feel very lucky to have in the neighbourhood. We’ll be regulars.“

“I was there on a Saturday night with 5 friends. We were all 70 years old or older. We all sat in a roomy corner booth.

The service was efficient but never fawning.

The food was extraordinary. The portions were very generous. More importantly, all the food tasted great. (We had six different dishes.) Interestingly, we all agreed that not only was the food served very hot, but it also stayed hot. I suspect the serving bowls were heated, but the extreme width of the bowl rims didn’t absorb that heat, so that you could touch them

I ordered the tomato-based seafood risotto. In other restaurants, the risotto came with one shrimp, one scallop and a couple of mussels. My order was infused with plenty of shellfish.

The place is full of young ones: 25-40 years old. So the environment was positive and electric. It might have been the location and nature of our seating area, but we could easily hold conversations“

“Cute little bakery and deli in Etobicoke near Islington and Dundas! The family owned Italian bakery has some of the best chicken and veal sandwiches with authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment running by the store owner mother, father and son who treat you like their own the second you walk in the door to the smell of fresh coffee and fresh homemade pastries! Highly recommend especially their veal!“

“Friendly and warm service, although a mocktail wasn't available on the menu, they offered to make one based on the cocktail of our choice. The steak tacos were yum!! The potatoe gnocchi and the fig dessert definitely surprised me, i wouldn't have ordered it usually but i enjoyed the dishes. The chocolate cake was quite decadent. Cheers to the team!“

“I don't know about some of the negative reviews. All I can say, is that I have come here multiple times to buy a slice of pepperoni, and it is consistently excellent. It's a huge piece with plenty of pepperoni, and is always cooked well. See the photo I attached, which is what it looks like with every visit I make during the day. The thickness is good and for $4.35 with tax it's an excellent deal. I've also ordered from this location for regular delivery, and I have never been disappointed.

“Just happened to stop in today as friends were hitting Alwyns next door.
Saw some guys eating on patio out front and noticed a nice sandwich he was eating. Asked , said it was one of the best he had.
So went in and ordered the crispy sandwich.
Omg! Whatever combination of sauce etc is bang’n! Garlics butters the French bread and toasts it first. A lot of work goes into his sandwich and for under $15 with a drink it’s absolutely awesome!
Definitley will be back to try other items on menu
