Every visit is memorable, and last night was no exception. My girlfriend and I celebrated a milestone, and the staff went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable experience. Our server, Alex, made sure every detail was perfect (it’s the second time we've been lucky enough to have him). “nice restaurant. food was good. my half rack of lamb was good although I have had better at that price. it was sitting in a very salty sauce..the waiter took it back and put my food on a clean plate without the sauce. didn't even offer to pay my espresso for the trouble. a little crowded as well. my amarena ricotta cheesecake was the highlight.“

“I saw a paper flyer in the mail & from the photos, they looked too good to be true & seemed like they were generated using Ai, but from the time I entered, I saw exactly as what I saw in the pictures.

The staff was very friendly & knew what they were selling. They are well trained & very verbal with their customers.

I purchased 2 salads with protein. Decent fulfilling portions & the quality was amazing. Pricing was below $18 each. I am definitely going back on a regular basis to try more options.

I must say that I have always wondered why more restaurants are not focusing on providing the general population quality & healthy choices.

I wish some restaurants can also cater for people with diabetes, by creating menus with low carb / “diabetes corner”.“

The family owned Italian bakery has some of the best chicken and veal sandwiches with authentic Italian cuisine in a welcoming environment running by the store owner mother, father and son who treat you like their own the second you walk in the door to the smell of fresh coffee and fresh homemade pastries! Highly recommend especially their veal!“

“I’ve been to this place quite a few times, and I do enjoy their oven baked pizza. Their dough is very nice and it’s very different from any other pizzas you may find in the area. The toppings they offer are also quite unique: wild boar sausage, wild mushrooms, salmon, arugula, etc. They also have a lovely patio that opens every summer! The place is equally great for couples and for larger family gatherings! I recommend!“

“A restaurant with fantastic food, great atmosphere, reasonable prices, and plentiful portions is rare in Toronto, but Mamma Martinos fits the bill. Only place I go for Italian in the city. It puts Eataly and Terronis and there ridiculously high prices, and tiny portions to shame. Dont waste your appetite and money at those places. Martinos is where it's at.“

“I don't know about some of the negative reviews. All I can say, is that I have come here multiple times to buy a slice of pepperoni, and it is consistently excellent. It's a huge piece with plenty of pepperoni, and is always cooked well. See the photo I attached, which is what it looks like with every visit I make during the day. The thickness is good and for $4.35 with tax it's an excellent deal. I've also ordered from this location for regular delivery, and I have never been disappointed.

“Just happened to stop in today as friends were hitting Alwyns next door.
Saw some guys eating on patio out front and noticed a nice sandwich he was eating. Asked , said it was one of the best he had.
So went in and ordered the crispy sandwich.
Omg! Whatever combination of sauce etc is bang’n! Garlics butters the French bread and toasts it first. A lot of work goes into his sandwich and for under $15 with a drink it’s absolutely awesome!
Definitley will be back to try other items on menu

“Didn't have to wait for a table upon arrival, we were just guided towards one by the staff from behind the bar right away. I had ordered a custom pizza with three toppings and a sauce for dip. The ingredients seemed fresh and the smallest pizza was a good size for a single person with a decent appetite. My mom also ordered a pizza, but my dad had ordered wings. The wings came out the quickest of the three orders and he was waiting a few minutes to start while we were waiting for the pizzas, but it wasn't a long wait. My dad is usually picky with his wings, but he really enjoyed these, so they must have been good.“
