I think this place is so underrated and it's a shame more people don't know about this place because their sandwiches are out of this world no exaggeration. “nice restaurant. food was good. my half rack of lamb was good although I have had better at that price. it was sitting in a very salty sauce..the waiter took it back and put my food on a clean plate without the sauce. didn't even offer to pay my espresso for the trouble. a little crowded as well. my amarena ricotta cheesecake was the highlight.“

“I ordered lasagna, seafood pasta with tomato sauce, a whole pizza and tiramisu. All of them are very tasty. I believe their food is very authentic. My favorite among them was the pizza because it was crispy. One thing I felt missing was seafood in the seafood pasta was so tiny....(in other's picture, seafood looks bigger, though). However, If the shop is close to my house, I would be definitely a regular customer! Thank you!!“

“This is exactly the kind of neighbourhood Italian restaurant you hope to have around the corner. Truly family-owned, warm, welcoming and wonderfully authentic — you can feel the care behind everything they do.

The food is fantastic, especially the sugo. Rich, comforting and the kind of sauce that tastes like it’s been made the same way in someone’s family kitchen for generations. The menu is also incredibly well priced for the quality, which feels increasingly rare in our city these days.

But what really makes this place special is the service.

You’re treated less like a customer and more like someone they’re genuinely happy to have in their restaurant.

“A true hidden gem in Toronto!

I stumbled upon this place by chance and felt like I was instantly transported to a cozy small town in Italy.

The cannoli was incredibly fresh and perfectly crispy—tasted just like an authentic Sicilian treat. The traditional Italian cappuccino with rich, fluffy foam was amazing. To top it off, I couldn't resist trying the warm, freshly baked cinnamon bun, which paired wonderfully with the coffee.

“I was there on a Saturday night with 5 friends. We were all 70 years old or older. We all sat in a roomy corner booth.

The service was efficient but never fawning.

The food was extraordinary. The portions were very generous. More importantly, all the food tasted great. (We had six different dishes.) Interestingly, we all agreed that not only was the food served very hot, but it also stayed hot. I suspect the serving bowls were heated, but the extreme width of the bowl rims didn’t absorb that heat, so that you could touch them

I ordered the tomato-based seafood risotto. In other restaurants, the risotto came with one shrimp, one scallop and a couple of mussels. My order was infused with plenty of shellfish.

The place is full of young ones: 25-40 years old. So the environment was positive and electric. It might have been the location and nature of our seating area, but we could easily hold conversations“

“The food at 850 Degrees is absolutely amazing, it is the best place in the GTA where our family can get GF and dairy free pizza that is baked in the oven that actually tastes like a real pizza, with no cross contamination. The 'cheesy' garlic bread and the meatballs are also super delicious. All the ingredients are very fresh and high quality and you can tell there is so much thought and care that goes into the design and execution of the dishes. Our various servers have been super friendly and helpful as well. Absolutely worth the drive for us! Thank you for all that you do! :)“

“I don't know about some of the negative reviews. All I can say, is that I have come here multiple times to buy a slice of pepperoni, and it is consistently excellent. It's a huge piece with plenty of pepperoni, and is always cooked well. See the photo I attached, which is what it looks like with every visit I make during the day. The thickness is good and for $4.35 with tax it's an excellent deal. I've also ordered from this location for regular delivery, and I have never been disappointed.

“My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant today. Oh my god, the pizza was amazing! We ordered a Roni and a Tartufata. The crust was just the right thickness. My Roni with tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the pepperoni, hot honey, and basil made it outstanding. My husband ate the Tartufata. He said it was fantastic, almost as if you didn't need any extra sauce. The cream sauce on the pizza was rich and fresh. He's Italian, and he thinks the pizza here is incredibly good. They start making the pizza after we order, so it's very fresh and crispy, but they're also very quick; we didn't have to wait too long.

We also ordered two cannoli, which were very fresh and delicious. And they even had Italian soda. Overall, we were very satisfied with everything here.“
