“nice restaurant. food was good. my half rack of lamb was good although I have had better at that price. it was sitting in a very salty sauce..the waiter took it back and put my food on a clean plate without the sauce. didn't even offer to pay my espresso for the trouble. a little crowded as well. my amarena ricotta cheesecake was the highlight.“

“I was a long-time customer in the 1990’s at the Yonge St location. The “big slice” is no longer offered. The pizza is still very good. I come mainly for the spaghetti and meatballs which I ordered often at the former Bloor St West and Islington Ave location. The tiramisu is excellent. Service has always been excellent going back to the Yonge St location. The grandkids run the restaurant now.“

The bread isn't the greatest but the pasta is the best for the price. 4 people can eat there and leave with their stomachs full, and not pay over $100. I keep going back there regularly. “Just happened to stop in today as friends were hitting Alwyns next door.
Saw some guys eating on patio out front and noticed a nice sandwich he was eating. Asked , said it was one of the best he had.
So went in and ordered the crispy sandwich.
Omg! Whatever combination of sauce etc is bang’n! Garlics butters the French bread and toasts it first. A lot of work goes into his sandwich and for under $15 with a drink it’s absolutely awesome!
Definitley will be back to try other items on menu

“Didn't have to wait for a table upon arrival, we were just guided towards one by the staff from behind the bar right away. I had ordered a custom pizza with three toppings and a sauce for dip. The ingredients seemed fresh and the smallest pizza was a good size for a single person with a decent appetite. My mom also ordered a pizza, but my dad had ordered wings. The wings came out the quickest of the three orders and he was waiting a few minutes to start while we were waiting for the pizzas, but it wasn't a long wait. My dad is usually picky with his wings, but he really enjoyed these, so they must have been good.“

Watching the pizzas come out of the oven was “Beautiful” and “Mouth Watering!!” These pizzas were made by love ❤️ and care. The pizzas were very appealing and delicious. A huge “Shout Out” to all the very nice women working there. The price very reasonable!!
