“We just had dinner at Tovico. It was an awesome experience from start to finish. The service is diligent and attentive. The food is amazing; so well prepared! We asked for chicken saltimbocca which was not on the menu and they were glad to do it. The gnocchi with meat sauce were so delicious as was the pizza. Everything arrived at the table piping hot. We cannot wait to return.“
“Great food. Great atmosphere. Great staff. Didn't go home hungry but went home with leftovers. Quantity of food dishes are large enough to eat twice. Wife and I were very happy with the selection of food and had hard time deciding what to eat since there is a large variety of food. Had the Tuscan fries, fried raviolis, spicy sausage penne and Rosa fettuccine. Decided that it wasn't enough so bought shrimp fettuccine and Bolognese to take home to enjoy later. “We recently made my Mom’s 100th birthday lunch here. We had approximately 60 adults and 4 small children. I cannot rave enough about how accommodating the entire staff were from owner, to servers, to chefs…The menu they created was wonderful with the most delicious choices and generous portions. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for entertainments ( showers, engagements, small events .. etc) but also for lunch or dinner. They have a wonderful patio as well. I can’t wait to go back and I have the dishes I personally didn’t order. They were all great. My guests can’t stop raving.“
“I had a party of 21. The owner was a pleasure to deal with during planning and I took his advice for the menu and it was absolutely perfect! The food was beautiful, authentic Italian with gorgeous presentation and good portion sizes. Everyone loved it! Employee Joey looked after my party and delivered exceptional service and went above and beyond, he cared as though it was his own restaurant, a few of my guests mentioned to me how great he and the service was during the party. “From the antipasto's to the desserts, everything was phenomenal. The specials were truly special, not seen in any of the other restaurants in the area. “Went there with a big group on a weekday night. The arugula salad was excellent! I also enjoyed cif e ciaf. The rabbit meat was tender and could be easily broke apart with forks. Taste of the mushrooms was delicious. However, their specialty fish, red snapper, was not as impressive compared to their other two dishes.Our server was quite friendly and responded promptly to our requests. The ambiance was a bit loud but very nice if you’re looking for an authentic Italian place.“
“This place was rammed on a Tuesday evening. It was a good thing we had reservations. The food was fantastic and the service was also great. Our hostess was very attentive and available when required. I have the fetucini Alfredo with shrimp which was delicious. The serving sizes weren't crazy but you left full. 2 at our table had the swordfish which was also apparently very good. We also had the fried calamari starter which was also very good. Will definitely be back.Parking: Lots of spots this place is right next to Vaughan Mills mall.“
