“Most beautiful view of toronto on the water you will get… book your reservation for an hour before the sunset of that day to get the full experience.Food is of course what you may expect with their rating … for the second best in Italy, I would have to disagree and am biased as I got to experience farm to table in the northern mountains in Abruzzo, Italy… not even comparable… sorry guys!! But they did offer a pasta that is dried from the sea breeze with the natural salt from the water / wind making a profound difference in the texture and flavour. Definitely worth the experience overall and the a la carte menu has great options for a great price.Great wine and caviar menus.Jeff the manager is the best!!!!Make sure you get a photo in the washroom with the window of the city as your backdrop ?“

“Stunned. We came here for the first time for an anniversary dinner and we left speechless. The food is divine. Highly recommend the eggplant parmesan sliders, pistachio ravioli and the apple fritters. The owners are both so kind and our server, Scott, was very attentive and friendly.“

“Just left this Place. Best Pistacchio Canoli I ever had. Flavourful and a beautiful crunch on the shell. Made on the spot. Also had Pistacchio Cornetto (Croissant) to die for. Last but not least Pistacchio Gelato and Sweet Onion & Goat cheese Gelato. Both Superb. This is a must place to visit.“

“Incredibly pleasant and fast service, delicious food. The facility is very clean and homely. We were served by the cashier Angela, who helped us choose a pizza. Extremely nice and polite woman who is an expert in choosing pizza. Recommended!!“

“I’ve been following Sugo on Instagram for a while and the images are always just so lush. Plates of mountain Spaghetti, succulent Burrata oozing over pesto pasta, tubes of saucy Rigatoni, crispy Calamari, buttery pillows of soft in the centre, crunchy on the outside garlic bread. I’m talking the kind of food you dream of. Yesterday, we went after months of imagining what the actual experience might be like and it did not disappoint. The food tasted even better than the photos suggested it was! The sandwiches are insane. Everything was luscious, flavourful and gorgeous. And our waitress, Jamie was a delight! Well worth the drive from Richmond Hill. Great food, generous portions, lovely eating experience. Foodie approved!“

“Probably some of the best food and service me and my family have ever had. We were in a bit of a rush and the employees were super helpful and got us our food quickly and even though they were quick, the food was cooked to perfection. This is one of the subway establishments I have ever eaten at and hope to go there much more often.“

“Great service and the food was well done. I thoroughly enjoyed my Branzino but was a little disappointed with the field greens. I got a tiny bowl with approximately 4 -6 leafy greens and some sliced radish for $18.Very cute date night spot that changes their menu on the regular.“

“Great food and service in a cozy setting. The veal sweetbreads wrapped in cured speck and cotechino tortelloni were good. There are 3 dessert options and a cheese plate for those that want savoury items. Ordered the pear frangipane tart with almond cream and wine poached pears and it was delicious. (2019 visit)Went back for a second time in 2024 and the service felt rushed. The mafaldine with n'duja sausage was good though.“

“Excellent italian food with absolutely generous portions.I love appetizers and usually keep my meal centered on the first part of the menu...I love the variety of things to try and they arrive at the table quickly....with that said, most appetizers are, logically, smaller portions...but not at vagabondo......when our appetizers arrived, I honestly thought we were sitting at my mom's table and she was serving the family the meals of the evening....The appetizer portion of the meatball dish was 3 tennis ball sized meatballs lathered with a tangy delicious tomatoes based sauce....the fried calamari was just a little larger than usual...but the eggplant Parmigian was literally group size...along with a basket of perfectly crusty baguette my family of five were stuffed...we could ended the meal perfectly happy and content....but 4 of us had already ordered entres...my son's spaghetti bolognaise was excellent and supersozed....as were the rest of the pasta dishes. Crazy. Good.Have already told friend and wee will definitely return.About $300 CAN for 5 people, including tip and including appetizers, entres, ice tea, glass of wine and a beer. Extra basket of bread also (first is generous and complementary)Small quibble ... they seated us at the back where it was a little dark on a nice sunny afternoon in Toronto. I understand why...their larger group tables are at the back. Not a big deal, we could have said something and I'm sure they would have accommodated us ....the staff were all friendly, prompt and attentive“

“Probably the best pizza I have ever had. Throughly enjoyed it and wish this was in the UK. Staff were friendly and take pride of their high Google review ratings, and it shows in the food.Only thing that would make this even more better would be inclusion of chips/fries on the menu, or at least wedges. If we are ever in Toronto again, we will eat here.“

“The service was over the top! The food, based on the menu may give the impression of a large portion of food however, the portions are tapas style and you will not feel stuffed like you do at other places. The food is excellent and Michelin Star! My hat's off to the Chef! The price is what you would pay for a Michelin Star restaurant. It reminded me of Le Bernardin in Manhattan!“

He was very knowledgeable about all the food and was able to suggest dishes for food allergies. “We had a wonderful experience at Tulia Osteria Bar The service was impeccable (thank you Andy!) and the food, amazing. We ordered the Antipasti Board to start and it was well curated and had ample portions. We followed this up a Pizzano pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Very flavourful on both counts. And Pistachio gelato to finish. They are just getting started! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!“

“Ordered pizza and meatballs for delivery. The pizza didn't travel well, but that's not really the restaurant's fault. I've had it at the location previously and it was a lot better. Meatballs, however, were fantastic, probably the best I've ever had. So tender and beautiful seasoned, sitting in a lovely tomato sauce. Can't wait to try more of the menu.“

“Nothing beats authentic Italian food. 100/10, if it wasn’t so expensive to fly internationally I would fly back to Toronto solely to go here. Food is incredible, service is great and the gelato is a nice way to top off an incredible dinner. If you’re in Toronto, you absolutely need to go “

“Very cute spot to grab a meal with friends! But I found the food inconsistent. The pasta was overly salty, the eggplant sandwich was not seasoned at all, and the meatballs were perfectly seasoned.Their lattes and matcha are very delicious.I'd definitely come back for that.“

“I had an exceptional dining experience here with my son last night. Lina the chef prepared divinely scrumptious dishes that were better than pasta I've had during a two week trip all over Italy. The Agnelotti Con Crema Di Pistacchio was to die for...really..and I'm not usually a pistachio fan yet I licked the plate clean. The Rosetta Alla Vodka was equally delicious and a hit with my son! We also had the Aragosta Con Risotto Al Zafferano which was an experience in and of itself due to how delicious it was, with layers of texture and flavour, and we ended our dinner with a heavenly Chocolate Molten Lava Cake. Not only was the food of the highest quality and the presentation beautiful, but so was the service. Chef Lina was a great hostess, moving between the kitchen and the dining area ensuring we're enjoying the food, and Sandra was a wonderful hostess who accommodated me and my little one ensuring we're comfortable. They both made us feel at home and the atmosphere of the place was so welcoming, cozy, and just pefect. You can tell that this place is run with lots of heart and passion, and that the owners Lina and Sandra truly care. We will definitely be back with more friends and I'll be spreading the word about this little Toronto gem! Thank you for the unforgettable experience!“

“Celebrated my birthday here with my partner and my brother who was visiting from Boston and we had such a fantastic time! We sat at the bar and the chairs were comfortable for bar seating, which was good because we ate and drank for a while. We tried 4 different pasta dishes, some really unique and delicious stuff. Portions were small so it was nice for sharing and trying different things. My brother got lots of wine recommendations from the bartender that he loved and I had some delicious spritz. The service was amazing and the manager came over and talked to us a few times, and gave us a free taste of some Italian digestive liqueur. Thank you for such a great experience!“

“Good vibe. Good food. It was quite full and buzzing with activity on the Friday evening we visited. I would consider it one of the better restaurants in the area. “We went (family of 5) last night for a dinner at Venga Cucina. The ambiance in the restorant is very pleasant, high quality cutlery and flatware. Subtle italian music in the background. The waiter informed us about daily specials, explained dishes and recomended the wine. The chef/owner stopped by, we chatted a bit. The food...pinsaria, pasta, side table cheese wheel - so tasty, delicious, no nonsense food! Fresh and high quality ingredients, localy sourced with some of them coming from Italy. Flour, sausages... Service was amazing. Knowledgeable, unpretentious, perfect timing... It was our first time dining at Venga, but for sure it is not the last time. Highly recomended!!!“

“Found this place on TikTok, thought it looked pretty and the food seemed delicious so we decided to check it out. The food was great, however, as a vegetarian, options were limited. The best dish I tried was the tartufo dessert, which was heavenly! The atmosphere was also beautiful. My favourite thing about this place is the exceptional service we received. 10/10 for all the staff who made us feel taken care of all night ? Best service in any restaurant I’ve been to in Toronto!“

“Top notch Italian restaurant in Toronto. Came here with 5 friends. We ordered a variety of pasta and meat dishes from the menu. None of us were disappointed. The lamb chops were quite good and there was a lot of positive feedback for the shrimp and a scallop pasta dish. Couldn't decide on dessert so they brought out a little bit of everything on a board for us to share. Needless to say, all the items were finished and there were no complaints.“

“It's authentic Italian. There are sofa seats in the back, which can accommodate a large number of people. The total cost for 9 people, 5 bottles of wine, and other food was $1,340. Tips are included. The wines were a little underwhelming, but I ordered Chardonnay and Cabernet, California's standard white and red wines that cost about $80 a bottle, and it was a big hit. I'm sure it's delicious. Another great point is that you can easily make reservations at Open Table about 2 hours before the event starts.“

“Nestled in the vibrant streets of Toronto, NODO stands out as a beacon of true Italian authenticity. Having lived in the south of Italy myself, I've always sought the flavors of Puglia, and NODO delivered beyond expectations. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Our server, Jessika, was an absolute delight, adding an extra layer of charm to our dining experience. As a connoisseur of Italian cuisine, I couldn't resist trying their Orecchiette dish, a true testament to the culinary heritage of Puglia. Each bite transported me back to the cobblestone streets of Via dell'Arco Basso, where this iconic pasta was born. The authenticity of flavors was undeniable, a testament to the chef's dedication to tradition.Having dined at both NODO Liberty and Leslieville, I can attest to their consistency in delivering exceptional service and mouthwatering dishes. Each location boasts its unique charm, yet both share the same commitment to quality and excellence. To the chef and the entire NODO family, grazie mille for bringing a piece of Italy to Toronto. Your passion for food, wine, and service shines through in every dish and interaction.Salute! to NODO, where every meal is a celebration of Italian heritage and culinary mastery.“

“These guys are just amazing. Great positive & welcoming energy. The chef taz (sorry if im not getting your name right!) went out his way and made the perfect custom pasta with a little bit of everything. He jumps right out for the slightest request/complain and wants to make it perfect for everyone. This is one of the biggest things i’ve been missing for a long time in Toronto. They made us feel like we’re visiting someone’s home, not a commercial kitchen with fancy tables. Sokol was a wonderful host and took care of too well. Unlike the uptight snobbish attitude of some other italian restaurants in the area who refuse to change a single thing about their dishes, like they were set in stone.“

“Hidden gem, this place is supposed to have a line up! The food is sooo good, custom made pasta will not disappoint, very likely the best pasta I’ve had so far! Ordered rack lamb, custom pasta, and tiramisu, all one of a kind homemade! One improvement is the octopus has too much of a salty and fishy taste, but overall it’s so good that minor imperfection is negligible. Great ambiance and very clean, even the bathroom.“

“Came here for dinner. Great ambience. Attentive service, they quickly cleared plates/utensils and cleaned the table after each course.Grapefruit mocktail was fresh and espresso martini was balanced. Yellowtail crudo was nicely plated with bright and fragrant ingredients such as gooseberry and citrus oil, seasoned well.Scarpinocc had perfect shape and texture. Can’t go wrong with creamy butter sauce with mushrooms and black truffle. But portion was small, total 7 pieces of pasta. La Valentia pizza was baked well, nduja sausage gave a good spice kick. Side order of crispy potatoes was filling, wish there was more guanciale.Tiramisu was rich and had a good balance between sweet and bitter. Sponge cake was soaked in a generous amount of rum. Lemon meringue pie is a must-order. Perfectly textured crust and the tartness was bright and refreshing. Loved the presentation.“
