“After a lighthearted evening watching & Juliet, we made our way to Scaddabush for some Italian comfort food.

All of EnD Adventures was together — our daughters, friends, and the two of us — which already set the tone for a memorable night out.

Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated quickly. Our server, Noah, stopped by early with menus and the nightly specials. It was clear the entire team was hustling; drinks took longer than usual, but Noah was doing everything he could to keep the pace.

The space itself was a delight. Warm lighting, thoughtful décor, and those whimsical canned vegetables added a quirky charm that made the room feel inviting and full of character. There was always something interesting to notice.

The fresh mozzarella — their signature — absolutely lived up to its reputation. Creamy, rich, and beautifully prepared, it was easily the standout of the table.

Our meals arrived hot and exactly as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their choices. The only real downside was the long gaps between check-ins for drink refills or questions. With several large tables nearby and the restaurant buzzing, it was understandable, though still noticeable.

All in all, it was a lovely evening, and we’d happily return — perhaps to a quieter location next time, just to see how the service feels when the pace isn’t quite so intense.

“My son and I were in town for the auto show and prefer to hot local places instead of chains, and this place is the exact reason. Our host was amazing, so welcoming and friendly, and genuinely seemed happy to have us. The atmosphere was great and our pizza and tiramisu were incredible. I wish this place existed where I live. Please get out and support local, our world is better having places like this around.“

“If you haven’t been to Annabelle Pasta Bar yet, I genuinely don’t know what you’re doing with your life.

The weekly rotating house-made pastas are elite — every week something new, every week a hit. They’re not playing it safe, and thank God for that. If you’re the type to ask for plain noodles with nothing on them, this probably isn’t your arena.

On the night I went, the lasagna was out of control. Layers on layers, rich but balanced — and that top layer? Light char, crispy cheese, those little golden edges that crack just right under your fork. I’m not saying I blacked out for a second, but I did have a small, spiritual experience. It was dangerously close to inappropriate how good it was.

The Po Bianco bread is to die for — fluffy inside, perfect crust, the kind of bread that makes the whole table pause mid-conversation. And the rotating panna cotta flavours? Silky, wobbly perfection. Not too sweet, just smooth, delicate, and stupidly good.

The FOH staff are absolute gems — warm, funny, zero ego — and the cooks in the open kitchen are dialed in, moving with that quiet confidence of people who know they’re crushing it.

Upstairs is for lovers: dim light, shared bites, soft chaos.
Downstairs is for party people: bar energy, laughter, and “one more bottle” energy.

We were greeted by the wonderful Mr. Giovanni and seated immediately (do make a reservation, space is a bit limited) ..we ordered the Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccini bolognese and for dessert the Tiramisu, chocolate lava cake and a cappuccino. The accompanying Garlic rosemary bread is fantastic! The food and desserts were par excellence, really hearty and well made, truly authentic and delicious. The pasta was made fresh in house, light and perfectly cooked. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very pleasant surprise. Go for the desserts, especially the Tiramisu it was worth all the calories.
Service was excellent, Christina and Reina were so friendly, hospitable and kind as was the main man Mr. Giovanni who made sure every table was personally tended to. Truly hard working and kind staff, something I come across not too often these days in the city. I will be visiting again to try the other dishes they have to offer, but in the meanwhile just want to give this place all the praise it truly deserves.“

“Great little gem. We were there on a Wednesday, there were no other guest there, only the cook. We received great hospitality from the cook, of which I suspect is the owner as well. However I would think there could be service issues if there are more customers.

“Incredible dining experience. The pasta carbonara and pepperoni pizza did not disappoint. Homemade, fresh and perfect. Never had a pasta carbonara that good 10/10. Small dinning area but plan ahead and make a reservation. A few customer did walk in without a reservation and it did not take long to find a table. Probably ok for a couple, not a larger party.

“A friend and I enjoyed lunch on Friday October 17. We had reserved and were seated at one of their window tables. Our server Quinn was friendly and efficient and was able to offer his opinion on main dishes we selected. The portions were more than generous and both of us were provided with take away containers. My friend has decided to book a family birthday here later this month. And I plan to return to Trattoria Di Parma early in November with friends who will be visiting from Calgary. Donna Fernanda is an absolute gem. The service was truly amazing and the staff made the whole experience warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. The people there are wonderful and you can really feel the passion they put into what they do.

The chef is absolutely fantastic every dish was authentic, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. It honestly reminded me of being in Italy.

She informed us that we had arrived in time to take advantage of Happy Hour pricing for our drinks, which we agreed to. The service that she provided was exceptional and all of our party really enjoyed chatting with such a nice and friendly waitress.
