T.O. Dickens Restaurant Reviews
Food and service were excellent.
The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! Our server, Candy, was especially wonderful—she was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit. She made us feel welcome and really added to the overall experience. We had a great time and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend!
Checked out T.O. Dickens Restaurant, and overall it was a pretty solid experience.
We started with the poutine, which unfortunately was the weakest dish of the meal. Credit where it's due they use real cheese curds, unlike some places that still call it poutine without them. The fries, however, were cut too thick and tasted slightly undercooked, the gravy lacked flavour, and we had to ask for extra because it was on the dry side.

T.O. Dickens Restaurant, located in Kensington Market, offers a variety of dishes including nachos, breakfast, chicken and waffles, and fries. The nachos are a standout dish, and the restaurant has a great selection of cocktails. The atmosphere is chill, with a homey feel created by the owners, and the staff is friendly. Customers appreciate the food quality and service, with dishes like the chicken sandwich and club receiving high praise. The salad that accompanies the sandwiches is fresh and relishing. The breakfast selection is decent, but the home fries and toast could be improved. The chicken and waffle portion is reasonable, but the fries are frozen. Coffee and coffee cups are just okay, while the decor adds a nice touch. The restaurant is open 24/7, making it a great late-night spot. Guests have enjoyed the Traditional Caesar Clutter with chicken and the Apple Crumble Pie, which pairs well with ice cream. Overall, T.O. Dickens is a place where guests can expect delicious food and good service, making it a gem worth recommending.
