“Since long time twice a week I go to this location at 2148 Queen street east. They are very welcoming, courteous. Take out-dlivery-dining their service always fast. The fries are really crispy, I love their juicy chicken. This is one of the cleanest restaurant in the city. The manager are very friendly and caring. My kids love to be there always. I will definitely suggest my friends to go this location.“

“I liked that I could just order as if for takeout but still sit at a table of my choosing. Seats are well spaced, nice large city photos on wall, and good wifi. Food well prepared. Only thing I didn't like was the background music, it's just what you typically get on any radio station which is why I never listen to radio anymore. Bring back the Sixties please.“

“Tatiana, our waitress, was excellent. She's helpful with menu suggestions, listens carefully, and is prompt in delivering drinks and food with a smile. I chose a dish that she approved and my wife chose a more traditional Swiss Chalet menu choice (The 1/4 chicken). My choice was a new dish (Chicken Teriyaki) that is being tried out in several different Swiss Chalet stores and was really excellent. I would suggest that possibly there was too much food which is all delicious. I normally attend the Swiss Chalet on Yonge just north of St. Clair and I will ask for that option there.“

“This location is our favourite Swiss Chalet. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is always fresh and the service is always given with kindness and respect.

“What a cozy place in the east end! Great beer selection and the food portions are hefty. I had a ceaser salad 15 bucks ad chicken 5 bucks!?!? And it was huge first time I’ve been bested by a salad. I would have easily paid ten bucks for the add chicken with out blinking an eye. Great job team! Keep it up“

“This is a great little gem in Toronto's Junction neighborhood. The brunch was delicious. We had the specials. Their home fries are the most unique and delicious fries I have ever eaten. They also have a cool waitlist option that they use to seat their guests. The servers are very polite and friendly.“

“I got the turkey club sandwich and chicken noodle soup - both pretty standard. However, service here is fantastic and the lady that works here is absolutely lovely to talk to!

Compared to other sandwich shops/franchises, I found it a bit pricey for the amount you get, but it tastes very homemade and healthy.“

“I have had many excellent meals at Canteen. One problem was the fire alarm was going off (not the restaurant's fault), but it did make ruin the ambiance for about 10-15 minutes. I wanted to thank staff for contacting me personally about a birthday cake request. Since they did not provide this service, they allowed me to bring a cake to the restaurant and for a small fee plated it for our group.“
