“All-around fantastic service and menu given the price point. Our server was attentive and helpful. The food came out at a decent time and was fresh and tender, particularly the fried chicken. Portion sizes were okay, a little small compared to competitors BUT in my opinion higher quality which makes up for it.

Service was great and the description was legit that this place is home style. 15 bones for sgetti and meatballs was ok considering there was a good meat to noodle/sauce ratio. My kid is fussy so I wasn’t sure how this would go over but he loved it. Him and his bro rated it at 4.5 stars. I would have given this a perfect score on atmosphere but parking at the strip mall was so so and egress was little dicey. Had to squeal the tires to avoid getting T boned.“

They are always doing their best to make sure your needs are up to satisfaction. It does get busy at times but they always seem to keep it under control. “I’m honestly mad this was my first time visiting this spot because it’s truly a hidden gem. ✨ It’s a family-owned Maltese bakery serving traditional Maltese cuisine and baked goods, and they’ve been here for 13 years!

I had never tried pastizzi before, and wow… absolutely mouthwatering. I tried both varieties: the beef and vegetable, and the cheese. They were crispy, crunchy, soft, and packed with flavour. You can tell this is their specialty. I didn’t have time to take pictures as they were devoured 🤣

I also picked up desserts — the apple crumble tart and the pecan tart — and both were phenomenal. You can tell the ingredients that were used are high quality, which was perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. You can truly taste the love and care put into every bite. As you can tell from the photos they are glistening🫰

“as a pakistani i never tried somali food but i have to tell you this place has some of the best goat i have ever tried, you dont need any sauce anything for their meat, its flavourful salty and just really good in general. its super soft aswell, its like a better tastier fattier version of brisket. the goat is the best option. for food like that in toronto it would be like 50$ a plate, yet there its like 20-24$ max. atmosphere is decent depends on what day you go/times ive went twice the one at night. The night is more packed and nice, but its a calm collected atmosphere. Service was alright the workers are nice and professional.“

I ordered the Grand slam.my mom went the following weekend with my nephew and her food was cold, they ordered and the food came out less then 5 min later. We just wanted to highlight what a wonderful time we had last night with Devon.
My wife ordered the butternut squash ravioli, no cheese with a glass of Pinot Grigio, myself I just asked for a glass of the house red. Instead of just giving me any red, he proceeded to ask about my flavour profiles, tannins, and suggested what would work best with my main. We were beyond impressed with his level of knowledge.

He did inform us about a larger group in the building he was also talking care of, but we honestly never felt forgotten, he was around regularly seeing to our needs and exceeded all of our expectations.
He has so much passion for his job and this comes out in his service.“
