“We went for lunch today to try the Portuguese food. Wow it was pure authentic Portuguese food. We had the grilled octopus and the sea bass. We saw the table beside us also have the Bife a Casa. This place is a hidden gem. The food has so much flavour, felt like we were eating in a restaurant in Portugual. The service was courteous, and the chef came to ask how the food was. Great experience, excited to go back and try the Bife a Casa and other delicious items on the menu.“

“I was recently at Harper’s for a birthday party Friday April 12 around 7:30pm. The food was great but the service was a little spotty. Our waiter was making some weird comments that made us feel uncomfortable. For example, someone ordered a burger with only the patty, cheese and bacon and the waiter was almost making fun of the girl for not having any garnish, and then when it came time to leave she still had half her burger and wanted to take it home and he made another comment about there not being enough food to take home…it was just a little weird.“
“I placed a large order and one meal was missing. I contacted the store and they sent out the missing meal along with a slice of cheesecake for the mistake. Amazing customer service. Most locations would just offer a credit, but this location went above and beyond. Thank you.“
“Rain was our server. We were a family of 3. We sat at a booth. There was plenty of room for us and the seats were comfortable. The TV's had a variety of sports on. We were there for a late dinner. We ordered the Sirloin dinner with fries and broccoli ($28), Mac and cheese kids meal w/ cookie & ice cream dessert ($11) and 1/2 platter of nachos (happy hour $10 at 8pm). The food was great. The steak was cooked to my partner's liking (medium well). Rain was super energetic, very attentive, communicative and overall a great host. We really enjoyed our dinner. We will be coming back. Our drinks were out in minutes and he got everyone’s order correct and even accommodated additional orders for myself. “Pass by here every day, decided to give it a try on a saturday afternoon. Lady at the cash was really nice and said they specialize in something called a Pastizzi. I got a meat Pastizzi and a coffee, the Pastizzi was flaky crispy and the filling was flavourful. I'll for sure be back again when I have the chance! (Oh and the pastizzis are only 2.50 each)“

“It is our weekly Friday ritual after grocery shopping to stop by Swiss Chalet and get dinner. Over the years many have served us at the checkout counter. I always preorder so it should be a quick pickup. Lots of times no one is watching the takeout counter. I’ve had to wait sometimes up to five minutes for two men standing over by the phone doing nothing to acknowledge me and call someone. Very disheartening. The best employee to ever work the take out cashier is Kanwal. She is always at her register. She always greets with a smile and my transaction takes less than a minute to process. If only everyone who worked there had the great customer service that Kanwal has. Whenever I come in and don’t see her I know it’s not going to be a quick in and out transaction. She truly is the best employee that’s ever been hired. A true delight everytime I come in.“
“Oh Boy I was pleased and a pleasure to find this place. First off it’s family run. Met the Daughter of the Owner (Mother) and they were very pleasant. The price point is amazing too. I got the chicken schnitzel. It is my favourite Iv had. Closes match I have was a small schnitzel house in Austria. (I know different origin recipe) But I think this by far better. “Great food and service. We only had one bad experience with a younger waitress one late evening who didn’t seem interested in serving us. She didn’t take down our order properly and when it came in wrong it took 10 minutes to get her attention.Other than that the service had been really good.“

“Got a coupon on the mail so decided to go and check it out, it has a good variety in the menu, lots of dairy free and vegan options available, also has a good kid's menu. Food was ready quickly and everything tasted great, server was kind and helpful although it got slower as the place got crowded. Will definitely visit again to try other plates!“

“Only leaving the review because I keep getting the emails to. They hold up nicely, they are very good muffins. The only issue I have is the price point. I get it they are a small local business that makes an excellent product. 20$ for 6 muffins seems steep considering they are from the freezer. I get great muffins from whole foods for $2.5 a muffin in there take away boxes vs getting it here for $3.33 a muffin. So the difference seems small per muffin till you realize you just paid $5 more for a 1/2 dozen of muffins.Dietary restrictions: Seems like a great place if you have food allergies.“
