From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere paired with the incredible smoky aroma set the stage for an unforgettable meal. Every single item we ordered was an absolute winner. The meats were perfectly smoked tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. Whether it was the melt-in-your-mouth brisket, the fall-off-the-bone ribs each bite was a revelation. Equally stellar, Creamy mac 'n' cheese, smoky baked beans, and crisp coleslaw balanced the meal beautifully. And those signature BBQ sauces; Divine, Truly, everything was downright yummy. What truly elevated our experience was the amazing service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. They offered great recommendations, checked in just the right amount, and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. “I drop into Kelsey's from time to time for lunch. On June 1/26, I was at Kelsey's and sat at the bar where Louise was the bartender. I found Louise to be very professional, upbeat and attentive, She has served me in the past and I find it amazing how she never seems to change. Good job Louise!!“

“Had an amazing experience at Kelsey’s thanks to our waiter, Shiyanthan. He was absolutely top tier from start to finish, he was super fast, attentive, and always making sure everything was taken care of without us even having to ask. On top of that, he was incredibly kind and welcoming which made the whole experience even better.

“I’m honestly mad this was my first time visiting this spot because it’s truly a hidden gem. ✨ It’s a family-owned Maltese bakery serving traditional Maltese cuisine and baked goods, and they’ve been here for 13 years!

I had never tried pastizzi before, and wow… absolutely mouthwatering. I tried both varieties: the beef and vegetable, and the cheese. They were crispy, crunchy, soft, and packed with flavour. You can tell this is their specialty. I didn’t have time to take pictures as they were devoured 🤣

I also picked up desserts — the apple crumble tart and the pecan tart — and both were phenomenal. You can tell the ingredients that were used are high quality, which was perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. You can truly taste the love and care put into every bite. As you can tell from the photos they are glistening🫰

Years because there isn’t one in our area back home. So it was a delicious treat to enjoy on our trip to the Toronto area. Our server Jennifer was a sweet heart and was super attentive to our needs for our meal.“

The sr. Guest experience manager reached out to my family directly and turned the experience around for us. We attended dinner last night and our second attempt at dinner was greeted with amazing service and good food. We will be going back to this location specifically for Lara, and B’s service.

We booked a reservation for Mother’s Day so my expectations of service were set accordingly. I was expecting the restaurant to be packed - however it was about half full. We arrived at 1:20 for a 1:30pm reservation. I booked in the dining room at this location with an accessibility request because my father walks with a cane (sometimes a walker) however the location closest to us only had bar available for the times we wanted so this location was next closest to us. When I booked, I specifically asked for a table with chairs and put an accessibility request. I even called after placing the reso to make sure there weren’t going to be issues. When I called I asked the person I spoke with to explain write I needed a table with chairs. My special request says accessibility request. When we arrived they walked my family down 2 steps (already not ideal) and put us at a booth. I explained to the hostess that does not work. I requested a table with chairs as my father cannot sit in a booth. I asked if maybe she could add a chair on the end of the booth for him. She said no, and said they had a better table up near the bar with chairs. I said ok sure. We got up to the bar and they were high top chairs. My father can’t walk well and got really frustrated walking back and forth and said forget it and sat down. He was super uncomfortable the entire time. We were given a 90 minute seating time to eat and drink which I thought was strange because that’s not on the reservation when you book. The server told us the kitchen is backed up for 40 mins on top of that so we had to scramble to order food. My mom asked how many pieces came in the bruschetta (we were 6 people) server said 8 pieces. Only 5 pieces came out. My husband wanted the 1989 burger with no sauce as he’s very picky - the server said the kitchen isn’t looking at modifications. I said what if he was allergic? He said he could try but no promises. Again I’m shocked. You can’t ask for no sauce? My husband won’t eat it if it came with the sauce. My mom, the reason we were even there wanted the lunch trio! The server then says sorry not doing the lunch faves today. I then get upset. If you’re not doing food modifications, the kitchens backed up, and on a limited menu, you should really have that at time of booking. I ordered something I didn’t even really want because I felt rushed to order on a 90 mins sit time with a “kitchen back up” I got steak and eggs where my medium rare steak was medium, tasted like barn yard and my food was warm. Not even hot. My sisters waffle was under cooked too. I’m so disappointed. I’m more upset about the accessibility request than anything else because my father was so embarrassed. Highly disgusted actually. I will not be returning here.“
