Comfort Food Restaurants near Milton, ON

“We had lunch today and our food was excellent. Our server, Yvona, was very friendly and went out of her way to make us comfortable.“

“Had a great experience tonight thanks to Kaitlyn! The restaurant was extremely busy and they were clearly dealing with a difficult night, including being short on a few items and supplies, but Kaitlyn handled everything incredibly well.

We had a large family group and she stayed friendly, attentive and positive the entire time. She kept checking on us, made sure we were comfortable, explained what was happening, and did everything she could to accommodate us despite how overwhelmed the restaurant was.

You can really tell when someone genuinely cares about doing a good job, especially when things aren’t going smoothly around them. Kaitlyn was fantastic and deserves some recognition for how she handled tonight. Thank you!“

“We have been going to this Kelseys for many years. ..but with Covid hadn't been. We had dinner there Sunday night. A great place....friendly staff and delicious food. And loved their 4 cheese dip! Thanks so very much. We really enjoyed our dinner at Kelseys and will continue going again.“

“Excelente servicio, buen ambiente y deliciosa comida 😋.“

“Our visit to Chainsmoke Urban BBQ today was nothing short of perfection. From the moment we walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere paired with the incredible smoky aroma set the stage for an unforgettable meal. Every single item we ordered was an absolute winner. The meats were perfectly smoked tender, juicy, and packed with flavour. Whether it was the melt-in-your-mouth brisket, the fall-off-the-bone ribs each bite was a revelation. Equally stellar, Creamy mac 'n' cheese, smoky baked beans, and crisp coleslaw balanced the meal beautifully. And those signature BBQ sauces; Divine, Truly, everything was downright yummy. What truly elevated our experience was the amazing service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the food. They offered great recommendations, checked in just the right amount, and made us feel welcomed from start to finish. Their efficiency and warmth added so much to our enjoyment; shoutout to the whole team.“

“Thank you Nura for the exceptional service. My friend and I were not expecting such great hospitality. Moments before we were talking about how we haven’t received the old school warm welcome that we used to get everywhere but this was such a breath of fresh air. Food was also made fresh and hot. This location was a full house but nothing was rushed.“

“Love the atmosphere and amazing service and food!“

“Had a great experience at Kelsey’s! Shiyanthan was very friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. He made sure everything was taken care of and made us feel very welcome. Thank you, Shiyanthan! Highly recommend!“

“I drop into Kelsey's from time to time for lunch. On June 1/26, I was at Kelsey's and sat at the bar where Louise was the bartender. I found Louise to be very professional, upbeat and attentive, She has served me in the past and I find it amazing how she never seems to change. Good job Louise!!“

“Great angus burger! So much better then McDonald’s.“

“I cannot leave anything less than 5 stars. Amazing service. Cold beer taps plus a solid selection of beers. Food came out hot. Couldn't have been happier and I know I have found my new local spot.“

“I’m honestly mad this was my first time visiting this spot because it’s truly a hidden gem. ✨ It’s a family-owned Maltese bakery serving traditional Maltese cuisine and baked goods, and they’ve been here for 13 years!

I had never tried pastizzi before, and wow… absolutely mouthwatering. I tried both varieties: the beef and vegetable, and the cheese. They were crispy, crunchy, soft, and packed with flavour. You can tell this is their specialty. I didn’t have time to take pictures as they were devoured 🤣

I also picked up desserts — the apple crumble tart and the pecan tart — and both were phenomenal. You can tell the ingredients that were used are high quality, which was perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. You can truly taste the love and care put into every bite. As you can tell from the photos they are glistening🫰

Cappuccino was also fantastic

Highly recommend this spot, and I’ll definitely be coming back!🤍“

“This is a Swiss Chalet near where I work. Well maintained and exactly what you’d like to see from your Swiss Chalet restaurant. Jennifer was very accommodating and even showed me how to save money with my CAA membership. I will be back.“

“Natalie was amazing! We had a large table of 16 people, including seven children, and she handled everything so patiently and professionally. We had quite a few requests, but she remained attentive, friendly, and accommodating throughout our entire meal. She made sure everyone was well taken care of and helped make the experience enjoyable and stresss free for our whole group. Her service truly stood out. Thank you, Natalie!“

“Thank you Gavin, with a special shout out to Brittany and the amazing team. You made our special confirmation day perfect. You went above and beyond. The service and attention to the details 5+++++++±++. We will be back and suggest your place for events. Janice“

“I must say the experience I've had at this establishment is by far top notch! Laura and Jack who tend the bar are exquisite! Not to mention the staff! They are always doing their best to make sure your needs are up to satisfaction. It does get busy at times but they always seem to keep it under control. I highly recommend this location and in the warmer temperatures the patio is an elegant twist if you don't want to be inside! Check them out“

“We had a wonderful brunch experience! Our waitress (Maria) was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The service was excellent from beginning to end and really made our brunch even more enjoyable. Thank you for the outstanding service. we’ll definitely be back!“
