“We had Lena as our waitress and she was simply PHENOMENAL. Cannot overstate how great the experience was because of her. We watched her juggle many, many tables with ease, and yet we never felt forgotten or abandoned.

“Have been coming here since they renovated. Always great service, and very clean. Great touch with Santa coming to visit. There were a lot of kids and when Santa walked in their little faces were so happy. Had the festive 1/4 chicken it was delicious. see you again.

“Had a wonderful experience last night.
We had never been to a Milestones before as we don’t have them in the States. We were on our way to the border when we saw Milestones off the highway and came in for a bite to eat.

Our waitress was wonderful.
We told her we’d never been to a Milestones and she took her time and explained the whole menu to us. What Milestones is known for, what her favourites are, asked if we had any allergies. We don’t any but I’m always very appreciative when a server asks as my other son who wasn’t with us has food allergies. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu as we had a lot of questions.

“My friend and I had an early dinner tonight at the location at 735 Queenston Rd, in Hamilton. Our server was Madeline and she was just great. Have not seen her there before but she was such a great server, humerous, kind and helpful in making our choices. The baked potatoes needed five minutes to go before they were reeady and she was apologetic but it was well worth the wait. Everything was hot and fresh and Madeline made our visit there delightful. We were there from 4 until 5:00 if this is helpful. We do go there a lot but this meal was absolutely the best. Top rating today, without a doubt.“

“Had an amazing experience thanks to Rachel. We were a large group of 14, and she handled our orders with incredible efficiency and a fantastic attitude even though we came so close to closing time. Drinks were flowing, everyone got exactly what they wanted, and she even remembered our preferences throughout the night. We had some issues with our food, My sisters salmon came out burnt and my steak came out bland but she helped us get remakes so we left happy. It's not easy to keep such a big party happy, but she absolutely nailed it. Highly recommend you ask for Rachel next time you go!“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

I especially love their wings, pasta, butter chicken, and the caramalized banana French toast they used to have. Staff is friendly. “Picked up some Spaghetti and Meatballs for my kid and his buddy earlier today. Service was great and the description was legit that this place is home style. 15 bones for sgetti and meatballs was ok considering there was a good meat to noodle/sauce ratio. My kid is fussy so I wasn’t sure how this would go over but he loved it. Him and his bro rated it at 4.5 stars. I would have given this a perfect score on atmosphere but parking at the strip mall was so so and egress was little dicey. Had to squeal the tires to avoid getting T boned.“

The sr. Guest experience manager reached out to my family directly and turned the experience around for us. We attended dinner last night and our second attempt at dinner was greeted with amazing service and good food. We will be going back to this location specifically for Lara, and B’s service.

We booked a reservation for Mother’s Day so my expectations of service were set accordingly. I was expecting the restaurant to be packed - however it was about half full. We arrived at 1:20 for a 1:30pm reservation. I booked in the dining room at this location with an accessibility request because my father walks with a cane (sometimes a walker) however the location closest to us only had bar available for the times we wanted so this location was next closest to us. When I booked, I specifically asked for a table with chairs and put an accessibility request. I even called after placing the reso to make sure there weren’t going to be issues. When I called I asked the person I spoke with to explain write I needed a table with chairs. My special request says accessibility request. When we arrived they walked my family down 2 steps (already not ideal) and put us at a booth. I explained to the hostess that does not work. I requested a table with chairs as my father cannot sit in a booth. I asked if maybe she could add a chair on the end of the booth for him. She said no, and said they had a better table up near the bar with chairs. I said ok sure. We got up to the bar and they were high top chairs. My father can’t walk well and got really frustrated walking back and forth and said forget it and sat down. He was super uncomfortable the entire time. We were given a 90 minute seating time to eat and drink which I thought was strange because that’s not on the reservation when you book. The server told us the kitchen is backed up for 40 mins on top of that so we had to scramble to order food. My mom asked how many pieces came in the bruschetta (we were 6 people) server said 8 pieces. Only 5 pieces came out. My husband wanted the 1989 burger with no sauce as he’s very picky - the server said the kitchen isn’t looking at modifications. I said what if he was allergic? He said he could try but no promises. Again I’m shocked. You can’t ask for no sauce? My husband won’t eat it if it came with the sauce. My mom, the reason we were even there wanted the lunch trio! The server then says sorry not doing the lunch faves today. I then get upset. If you’re not doing food modifications, the kitchens backed up, and on a limited menu, you should really have that at time of booking. I ordered something I didn’t even really want because I felt rushed to order on a 90 mins sit time with a “kitchen back up” I got steak and eggs where my medium rare steak was medium, tasted like barn yard and my food was warm. Not even hot. My sisters waffle was under cooked too. I’m so disappointed. I’m more upset about the accessibility request than anything else because my father was so embarrassed. Highly disgusted actually. I will not be returning here.“

“We went for a Salsa learn and dance session at the lakefront and stumbled upon this splendid cafe. Food was really good - we had the soup of the day (chicken), banana crisp waffle and fresh lemonade. All three were absolutely delicious. And for the location and quality of food, this cafe is very economical. Must visit !!!“

“I had a great experience at Swiss Chalet thanks to Laylee. She was really friendly and made sure everything was taken care of without us having to ask. She checked in at the right times, kept a positive attitude, and made the whole visit feel welcoming.

The service was quick, and Laylee handled everything smoothly even when it got a bit busy. It’s clear she cares about doing a good job and making customers feel comfortable.
