“As a vegetarian, you wouldn’t normally think of Swiss Chalet as a go to, however there are lots of great options. We enjoyed the vegetarian pot pie with a side of the new Mac & cheese as well as a Fiesta Salad - both were delicious! The highlight of our experience was our amazing server, Kinsey! Her attention to detail and genuine kindness made our day. We saw how she treated all of her customers and it was so lovely!“

“An amazing cafe with fantastic food, a beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional hospitality. The café has a warm, thoughtfully designed ambience that makes you want to stay a little longer. The food was delicious, with every item prepared with care and attention to detail. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive throughout our visit.

The highlight, however, was the involvement of the owners themselves. Their hands-on approach, genuine warmth, and attention to every guest create an experience that feels personal rather than transactional. You can tell this café is a labor of love. Highly recommended!“

“We had Lena as our waitress and she was simply PHENOMENAL. Cannot overstate how great the experience was because of her. We watched her juggle many, many tables with ease, and yet we never felt forgotten or abandoned.

“Had a wonderful experience last night.
We had never been to a Milestones before as we don’t have them in the States. We were on our way to the border when we saw Milestones off the highway and came in for a bite to eat.

Our waitress was wonderful.
We told her we’d never been to a Milestones and she took her time and explained the whole menu to us. What Milestones is known for, what her favourites are, asked if we had any allergies. We don’t any but I’m always very appreciative when a server asks as my other son who wasn’t with us has food allergies. She was extremely knowledgeable of the menu as we had a lot of questions.

“Fantastic experience at Kelseys Original Roadhouse, Oakville! From the moment we walked in, everything felt smooth and enjoyable. The food came out quickly, tasted amazing, and the portions were generous.

Big thanks to the Manager Shiyanthan for the exceptional service — very polite, professional, and made us feel truly valued as guests. It’s rare to find service this good!

“My friend and I had an early dinner tonight at the location at 735 Queenston Rd, in Hamilton. Our server was Madeline and she was just great. Have not seen her there before but she was such a great server, humerous, kind and helpful in making our choices. The baked potatoes needed five minutes to go before they were reeady and she was apologetic but it was well worth the wait. Everything was hot and fresh and Madeline made our visit there delightful. We were there from 4 until 5:00 if this is helpful. We do go there a lot but this meal was absolutely the best. Top rating today, without a doubt.“

“Cannot thank Morgan enough for making our evening even more special! Morgan was so fun and friendly and interactive. Asked right away if there was something special that brought us in- we were there celebrating my daughter’s university graduation. She made the experience just that- more than a dinner- it was an experience. We laughed and Morgan laughed right along with us! Butternut squash pasta was 10/10, chicken tacos above what was expected - the bruschetta was a perfect starter! Personally I didn’t feel the steak lived up to the hype of a Milestones steak- but was still delicious. We plan to return for more “milestones” to this Milestones location! Thanks Morgan!!!!“

“It is an easy place to eat because we all know it. But today was just lovely. I felt like our server (Alicia) bent over backwards for us. Changing the tv channel, getting waters and more waters, more toasted pitas for our dip, being flexible when we had two people of our six person reservation late. She was always positive and helpful, checking in with us when we had our app, our meal, all perfect timing. We had a great time bc of the environment she helped create.“

“We had supper at this location last evening with my husband’s two daughters and one our granddaughters, her boyfriend and our son-in-law. Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. He organized individual bills accurately and everything came as ordered. He is an excellent member of your staff, and we hope to be served by him at our next visit!!“

“I had a great experience at Swiss Chalet thanks to Laylee. She was really friendly and made sure everything was taken care of without us having to ask. She checked in at the right times, kept a positive attitude, and made the whole visit feel welcoming.

The service was quick, and Laylee handled everything smoothly even when it got a bit busy. It’s clear she cares about doing a good job and making customers feel comfortable.

i’ve been here twice now and called ahead to check if studying here is okay, they were super welcoming & me and a few friends came in when it wasn’t busy! they didn’t rush us at all and were super sweet to us the whole time we were there. both gretel and joanna were great servers & the manager eloise was especially great!

“Picked up some Spaghetti and Meatballs for my kid and his buddy earlier today. Service was great and the description was legit that this place is home style. 15 bones for sgetti and meatballs was ok considering there was a good meat to noodle/sauce ratio. My kid is fussy so I wasn’t sure how this would go over but he loved it. Him and his bro rated it at 4.5 stars. I would have given this a perfect score on atmosphere but parking at the strip mall was so so and egress was little dicey. Had to squeal the tires to avoid getting T boned.“

“Williams Fresh Café is easily one of my favorite spots. I absolutely love sitting by the windows with that beautiful lake view—it makes the whole experience so calming and relaxing. I’ve tried quite a bit from their menu, and everything has consistently tasted amazing. A special shoutout to their Red Pepper & Tomato Bisque—it’s honestly a must-try!

“This Swiss Chalet on York Street in Hamilton is hands-down the best… better than the Burlington location, better than Queenston, and better than the one up on James. The food here always comes out piping hot, and the service is fantastic. I wish the other locations ran with the same level of efficiency and quality. The staff are always friendly, and there’s a great guy named Yasin who really makes the place stand out.“
