“My husband and I were on the highway when he developed the urgent NEED for a peameal sandwich. It happens. Google showed we were 7 mins away from a place called The Windmill Restaurant…. And as luck would have it, peameal was on the menu. A short detour and sweet in-restaurant experience later, we are both enjoying 10/10 peameal sammies! Each has a soft, buttered bun, perfectly toasted. A generous number of peameal slices! We added sharp cheddar and grilled onions. Literally perfect — no notes. We continue on our journey, now with great satisfaction.“
