“I had a wonderful dining experience here. Every dish we ordered was prepared with such care and looked beautiful on the plate.

The open-faced toast was a highlight, piled high with vibrant salmon, capers, and pickled onions. Everything tasted as fresh as it looked. I also really enjoyed the perfectly crispy calamari served with those bright green peppers. It is the perfect spot for a delicious meal.“

“A very good lunch/brunch place here in the market. A nice spread of comfort foods and you can make your own plates and combos. Highly recommend getting their salads with some sides and latkes for a whole meal experience. The old couple that run this place are very nice 🙂“

“Watched the game here earlier and had a great experience. Mae was an awesome server! Our drinks were never empty, which was a nice change from most other bars that are busy during the soccer games.

“The Thai red curry was just amazing, reminds me of my trip to Chiang Mai. The seafood pasta with mussels was also great. All made in house. Rare find in area. Great craft beer. A hidden gem from all the places in the area that serve basic chicken wings and deep fried offerings. The entrance is not desirable, but was told the entrance is being renovated.“

“Went for my birthday with friends and had an amazing experience! The place is beautiful, and our server Maeva was amazing! She was super attentive and made sure the dinner was pleasant and I felt super celebrated. The food was great, and the environment is beautiful! Only issue was that it was really hot, we sat at the main dining area and I think the ac was down. Def recommend this place, especially for the attentive service!“

“Our group had a great time this past weekend at the Medieval festival! The show and tournament were entertaining and the atmosphere of the castle and arena were quite nice. The pricing of the souvenirs at the gift shops were reasonably priced, in my opinion. The food was not bad but could’ve been better. The chicken was juicy at first then become a bit dry as I was eating more of it. I also thought it lacked a bit of flavour. The corn and roasted potato were also okay. The dessert was just a frozen eclair. My favourite item was the tomato soup. But, at the end of the day the meal was still edible. I think despite all of this the show was still worth going to at least once!“

“Went a few Saturdays ago while a World Cup game was on. The design & atmosphere is very welcoming & nice- they had TV’s both inside & outside with a DJ playing music inside. The service was by-far the best part; the staff were friendly & helped recommend us a beer to try (which we all enjoyed). The server noticed my friends pay for two of my drinks, asked why, we said it was celebratory, & she offered free shots on the house. Truly made our night. Also noticed the same staff person frequently walking around to make sure everything was in order, they seemed like they genuinely cared about the place. Would recommend.“

“Came by in June in the late evening. It was fairly busy but they were able to accommodate me on the patio. I initially wanted the brisket, but it was sold out. I chose the pulled pork as a replacement. It was extremely tender and flavourful, so it was still worth getting. I'll definitely come back again to try the brisket.“

“Consistency is the key to this Harvey’s. Always puts out quality food, fresh and hot. The thing I love about this location as well is that the staff wash their hands all the time. They actually have correct food handling which is not common in the fast food world. Good job guys, keep it up.“

“The meat itself was grilled well — tender, smoky, juicy, and easy to bite. My only issue was the seasoning: it leaned quite sweet, even with the hot sauce. It would be great if they offered real chili powder or a spicier option. This might just be a personal preference, as I usually prefer more Asian-style spicy. I also wouldn’t recommend the corn, as it was too creamy for my taste.“

“Tatiana, our waitress, was excellent. She's helpful with menu suggestions, listens carefully, and is prompt in delivering drinks and food with a smile. I chose a dish that she approved and my wife chose a more traditional Swiss Chalet menu choice (The 1/4 chicken). My choice was a new dish (Chicken Teriyaki) that is being tried out in several different Swiss Chalet stores and was really excellent. I would suggest that possibly there was too much food which is all delicious. I normally attend the Swiss Chalet on Yonge just north of St. Clair and I will ask for that option there.“

“We just had both our wedding and rehearsal dinner in July of 2026 and it turned out better than i could have hoped for! We used their courtyard for the ceremony ( and amazing family photos), the patio for cocktail hour and inside for the reception.

“One of those real, authentic, non trendy, super hospitable restaurants. An old Toronto gem in a trendy neighbourhood like Liberty Village. I am a sucker for a soup and a sandwich so this was perfect. You choose your own sandwich and add toppings yourself, subway style. They also have coffee and alcoholic beverages and free wifi and indoor and outdoor seating. It gets hot in there in the summer.

“Came here on a Saturday night for a birthday party and it was pretty fun.

We got here early at 7pm and by the time we left at around 10pm this place was packed! Great place for larger groups to gather. This place has been opened for over a decade and I finally got to check it out. They did serve a lot of finger food which wasn't too bad.

“Reserved for a big group of 12, and the food, and service by Anna Maria, were excellent. Most of the group had the endless shrimp which they loved. I had the Parmesan chicken and it was delicious! Pleasantly surprised. Also the biscuits were amazing.“

“Eggspectation was an excellent start to our morning. The restaurant is bright, clean, and modern, with a welcoming atmosphere that made it a great spot for breakfast.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The omelette was packed with fresh vegetables, the fruit was ripe and refreshing, and they had no problem accommodating a simple grilled chicken request for extra protein. The classic breakfast was cooked perfectly, with fluffy scrambled eggs, crispy breakfast potatoes, tasty sausages, and delicious strawberry crepes that were light and not overly sweet.

Service was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Our food came out quickly, and everything we requested was handled without issue.
