“Never been to this location before, but I pass by frequently, I can definitely see the hype of this location now. Normally the servers from these corporate restaurants are nice but give very “basic standard service,” but this afternoon I had a very experience with Caitlyn! She was very knowledgeable on the menu and added to the vibe on my whole experience, super authentic. This place hit all the marks, ps I recommend the Bowtie pasta! Great experience (:“

“I don’t usually dine in places like this, but receiving such a fun and welcoming experience from both Kiki & Jordi it’s really got me reconsidering places where to eat.
When asking Jordi her recommendations I took her steer and they didn’t disappoint. To be honest it actually went way above my expectations. I highly recommend this place and you’re sure to have a good time if you have both Kiki and Jordi looking after you!“

“A very cosy uptown restaurant ! I have been several times over the years and it never disappoints. Was there again last night and have to say the veal scallopini was excellent. “This is our favourite neighborhood pub. Cozy fireplaces in the winter, back patio oasis in the summer. Front patio on nice days for brunch. We eat here whenever we are too lazy to cook or do dishes because the menu has a nice range, the food is good + reasonably priced and the vibes are low-key. They have the BEST wings (with the side of carrots & celery and the chunky proper blue cheese dressing) This place is honestly such a comfort and good for most occasions.“

“We happened upon this restaurant by a recommendation .....omg....what a diamond of a place... enter through the front door on College Street and wander through to the amazing back patio.....the ambience is unbelievable, you are made to feel so comfortable and at home....our server was Peter who was beyond amazing....if you are looking for a place to go I definitely recommend this place......we are from Ottawa way but will be coming back...totally a 10 out of 10“

Quality slipped a little -- compared to when they were in the basement -- but they are solid skewers.

The skewer sizes are pretty small, but they give a lot. Total volume is about the same as other locations, but you get a much better surface area to mass ratio on the meats. This makes the skewers more heavily spiced“

Rude staff and an even more rude owner... don't bother complaining about anything because you're just going to get cussed at... absolutely appalling behavior... the usual crowd are loud obnoxious and seriously over their limits. I've witnessed tables and chairs falling all over the place on many occasions because people are way too intoxicated to think. The owner acts like he's untouchable and says things like " you're in a bar what do you expect " . I expect to be treated as a paying customer. Never going there again. also... one of the servers is literally always drunk out of her mind... my very first visit she was crying about her ex... and almost every time I ordered wings SHE GOT MY ORDER WRONG....over and over again!! let's just say ive had many free wings and stuff from her as an apology... I gave them a chance. several actually. but after that conversation with the owner.... im done. DO NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!“

“I have never had an experience like Peter claims below with Leslie. I've been a regular for a while and she has always been an excellent bartender/server and the rest of the staff that I've interacted with (Cassandra, Moyuru and aggy) have been awesome. Great place to grab a pint and a bite to eat. Patio's also stellar. I don't expect a place to cater to me because I don't want to have a minor inconvenience. Weaponozing reviews against an establishment because things didn't go your way is a pretty lame thing to do.“

“Came in for the first time and saw a great band. Turns out its their first time here as well. Awesome pub with a great atmosphere and the band, Chairman of the Boards, was an awesome blues surf band loved the music and very talented players. “The food is really good ( the ribeye is so delicious and affordable! )but the service is awesome! Our waitress Daphne is excellent, every time I've been she's there , so attentive , the best server I've had in a very long time....the bartender, Ramone it's also excellent and there's another super waiter, I can't remember his name, although excellent like the others“

“Haven't had such nice weather in Toronto for a while .. as soon as I saw the temperature go above 15C with the sun out, I was hunting for a patio. I'm so happy we found Squirly's!! What a fun spot on Queen West with such a nice patio in the back.

We were seated instantly and had a house lager - that was very tasty and the food... ok, I was so impressed with what came out. We started with beef dumplings, really enjoyed the sauce and they have their homemade chilli oil?! Yum! And the mains - wow. We ordered the Reuben and Cuban wrap. Never heard of a Cuban wrap but that pulled port was tender and the Reuben was so juicy. The highlight of the show for me though, hands down, was the house salad. Yup, I said it lol. I've never been wow'd by a house salad but this WOW'd me. Such a huge portion given it was supposed to e jus a side ..that dressing was delicious and with the pumpkin seeds? I inhaled it. We finished off with a tiramisu cookie that I didn't think really tasted like tiramisu but it was still soft and yummy.

Our server was awesome - constantly checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. Loved our experience here! I would definitely come back for a drink, dinner, maybe a tub of the house salad.“

We visited on a weekend evening. It was fairly busy but not completely full, so it seems like walk-ins are possible.
The food was good, though I personally would have liked slightly larger portions.
They also offer a “SOCIAL HOURS” happy hour, with discounted drinks and small plates. The hours are quite generous:
Mon–Sat: 2–5 PM and 8 PM to close
All day Sunday

“I had my birthday party at Skada Bar and it was fantastic! The manager Cici was so welcoming and accommodating. She decorated and organized the bar just the way I wanted and she provided food for all my guests. It was a super fun night and everyone that came told me what a great party it was. “Very friendly husband and wife run, decent people, no drug problems, friendly atmosphere though night life there can be a tad loud, don't bring the kids past dinnertime, it being Parkdale it's tamer then alot of other Establishments that serve alcohol. ? I believe you can Celibate Birthday parties, etc.. just give them a heads up on your plans, they will try to accommodate you and yours! Prices are reasonable there's plaza parking limited, Salvation Army store next door just FYI! P.S. Owners do the serving, no waiters.

Parking: A few disabled spots, closest to the west side of lot. Not sure about unreasonable time periods not having a Vehicle I do know the area.

Wheelchair accessibility: Small lip at doorway but Lance has a piece of wood for entering, and most of the people are quite friendly and actually get the door for wheelchair etc....“

“Love this place. The vibes are impeccable. What the owners have created here is something truly special. It’s everything you want in a local spot — welcoming and filled with heart. You can genuinely feel the care and effort that’s gone into making it more than just a bar.

The drink selection is excellent, and the wings and fries absolutely hit the spot.

We were there to watch Heated Rivalry and the atmosphere was perfect. They even let us stay to watch one more episode.
