“Stopped in before a concert by recommendation of a friend. Ordered nachos and blackened chicken sandwich. Everything was stellar. The food was hot, delicious and came to the table less than 10 minutes after ordering. The place was packed but our server was still incredibly attentive and checked on us often. This place will definitely be my new go to place for pre event drinks and food when I’m in Toronto.“

We came specifically to watch football and were pleasantly surprised to have great views from everywhere and every game was on. Callum took great care of us, very friendly and personable. “Went for a wrestling event, I don’t think the server expected to accommodate that many people for a Saturday evening. The bartender did the best she could, scurrying to serve us rowdy fans while batting away impatient patrons asking for food ordered 20-30 prior, bless her kind heart. I wasn’t expecting much either, considering I ate prior to the event and just wanted a beer. The menu is…basic, in a word, but ended up ordering the 3 piece chicken strips with fries. Took 35 minutes, and almost gave up. But when the food came…my word was this good. Chicken fried crispiness but still tender to enjoy the natural juicy flavour with each bite. The fries were seasoned to compliment whatever they had going with the chicken, potato and deep fry ratio done where it still retains its toasty flavour 10 minutes all after the fact. 100% worth the wait. It’s been two weekends since this event and I’m still thinking about how good that order was. I dont know if they’ve taken down their Halloween decor yet but if you’re in the Bloor/Dundas West area and come across this bar, please give their food a try. And remember to tip the bartender, lord knows she deserves it :)“

“Perfect place to watch soccer, especially Portuguese league. The beer is very fresh and so glad they have non alcoholic Super Bock Dark for my girl who doesn't drink alcohol. Only thing they need to change is the chicken wings as they're brutal. But the bifanas are proper and the service is excellent. Love going here for watching games and UFC.“

“A sports lovers paradise! Right in Maple Leaf Square there are so many TVs that you'll never miss a moment of the action. Even if you don't come here for sports, the wings are a destination in themselves and they are a MUST ORDER. I also tried the salmon poke bowl which was surprisingly a highlight.
Our server Latika went above and beyond for us and gave us great local recommendations as well.

“It was a weeknight and it was quite a large number of people by the bar table, patio and the other tables. Two of us sat down near to the wall and it’s a nice area.
I read the information here that someone recommended the honey chicken wings and so happened it was a Monday which we had the chicken wings as special - they taste good and it was a nice time having conversations with food and drinks.
The TV/Screens there show the sports games and the atmosphere is chill and relaxing.
I saw some tables serve the usb lines say C type, iPhone or different kinds, I think in case if you need to charge your phones or other electronic devices etc.“

“I had a last minute Birthday celebration at my place, my friends just 4 of us decided to go to Chalkers and my bday celebration turned into a party.

The staff was so friendly, happy and professional, the music was lit and just brought the vibe together plus a few games of pool (made it even better)

Thank you to your amazing staff for such a great unforgetful night. I definitely recommend anyone that just wants to have a good fun enjoyable night to go to Chalkers. Drinks and food are a great price with great music and the new design makes it feel classy and elegant. This is literally the best billiards in Toronto! Such a hidden Gem.

“Not sure how I've never bothered to leave a review here before but I guess I hadn't gotten around to it. Anyways, here goes. This is the best bar in the beaches, period! There's really only a few bars down on Queen here that are open late and actually lively. Of those 3-4 Breakwall is easily the best.

The food is great, specifically the BBQ. Most importantly it's extremely consistent! Cranking out slow cooked BBQ, at the volume they're often seeing here and having it come out this consistent is no small feat. These guys nail it again and again.

The atmosphere is comfortable, it's a lot of people's "second home." Music is curated by the staff, not generic stations/playlists (heavy Gen X/Millenial nostalgia). The servers are all really personable and great at what they do.

In short, this is easily the best bar in the beaches, one of the best in the whole east-end-downtown and I can't recommend it enough!!“

“Hands down this is our favourite goto place in neighborhood when we feel like "lets get fancy and funky at the same time". They make such good steak for a good price in a bustling location. With $100 bucks before tax+tip for a couple we get steaks and drinks to fill us up. This location next to bloor-yonge station is huge and not so crowded. But the last time it was packed and also their beer tap was broken. Still our server Maj made sure we get the best out of the evening and we had a wonderful meal with their holiday season special meal. The sauce on top of the steak had some shrimps. But it was hard to find any bits of crabmeat and lobster as the menu suggested. For a $45 meal, this is something they need to improve. Otherwise, food quality was excellent as usual.“

“My son and I stopped in for a mid week lunch. It’s due to my son’s two fave things when out to eat. Chicken and large TVs. He had the chicken tenders and fries and I had the special. A lb of wings. I had the snake bite wings. That meant hot honey mustard flavour. Tasted great. There are so many flavours at Wild Wing. The fries were also above average. All the TVs had last night’s sports on. The place was pretty empty but it was 12:30pm on a Tuesday. I didn’t mind as I was spending time with my kid. It was a bit of a celebration as he just finished his first semester of high school. Would go back again.“

And as it was all our first time there Reynah Alani was helped us with what we should get, and I love what she recommended for me.
