“Second time I’ve gone! This time I went with two long time pals for a fun Friday night out. We loved the food and our server Nina. She was super friendly and made some good food suggestions.“

The bartender who will remember your name, the chef who will give your plate 100%, the best live sports at any angle (including the PWHL 🤩), and the owners who truly care. “Went for a wrestling event, I don’t think the server expected to accommodate that many people for a Saturday evening. The bartender did the best she could, scurrying to serve us rowdy fans while batting away impatient patrons asking for food ordered 20-30 prior, bless her kind heart. I wasn’t expecting much either, considering I ate prior to the event and just wanted a beer. The menu is…basic, in a word, but ended up ordering the 3 piece chicken strips with fries. Took 35 minutes, and almost gave up. But when the food came…my word was this good. Chicken fried crispiness but still tender to enjoy the natural juicy flavour with each bite. The fries were seasoned to compliment whatever they had going with the chicken, potato and deep fry ratio done where it still retains its toasty flavour 10 minutes all after the fact. 100% worth the wait. It’s been two weekends since this event and I’m still thinking about how good that order was. I dont know if they’ve taken down their Halloween decor yet but if you’re in the Bloor/Dundas West area and come across this bar, please give their food a try. And remember to tip the bartender, lord knows she deserves it :)“

“Can I give a big shoutout to Haley and Caity - lovely individuals, warm and welcoming - they made sure my friend and I were taken care, they were attentive, something I found very comforting is that they were able to connect with us based off different upbringings - they really about the people. Jack astors, yall got some good people here, hopefully yall notice that - you know how life goes, we take it for granted, while it’s there, than miss it when it’s gone.“

“Came by in June in the late evening. It was fairly busy but they were able to accommodate me on the patio. I initially wanted the brisket, but it was sold out. I chose the pulled pork as a replacement. It was extremely tender and flavourful, so it was still worth getting. I'll definitely come back again to try the brisket.“

I’d recommend arriving 1–2 hours early if you want a table because it gets packed for big games.

“Been going to The Horn for many, many years. We've gotten to know all the staff who are absolutely amazing. It's one of our regular spots in the neighbourhood to have a delish local lager (or three, who are we kidding, right Dave?!) a munchie and chill on one of the best backyard patios in the city. There's always a game on and the vibe on the inside is laid back and comfy. Kristin and the crew are all gems! 5/5!“

“4 older Zoomer ladies had a bite here after AmJ musical as we walked along THE PATH toward Union Station on a rainy yesterday .it was pretty full lively at 5:30. Service excellent Food great! Two of us had the Sliders -meaty - Good quality beef and big! My friend’s club was awesome & fries were good enough to steal a few from her which we all did , the other woman had the Caesar salad and said it was really tasty and dressing light. All Portions ample. We had to get to Union for 6:45 and still had a little ways to go and they were quick with bill and follow up by initial server - excellent.“

“The Mezz is a great place to have a drink with friends. Gabe (bartender) was really nice and the service was amazing. I went on Jan 25 when the snowstorm hit so the kitchen was closed, but the drinks were great (cranberry juice with vodka is amazing). Staff were very kind and supportive when a man was bothering me, and I would definitely recommend this place for women who are alone (or anyone, really)!

“All arpund, a great dining experience. We visited during the FIFA World Cup when a game was being televised. Yes, it was loud in there, but what a great experience to be part of such a fun event. The food came quickly and our server, Julian, was very attentive. When the entire bar sang along to our national anthem, it was such a fun experience. Our night started well as the manager was the one that came and greet us and took our initial order. Everything went downhill from there service-wise. Food is great when you get it. After our appetizer. We waited 30 minutes for someone to come back to our table. They finally did. We ordered drinks that never came until. You guessed it. The Manager came back. He brought our drinks and again we waited for food. Half the beers were sold out they had no gravy. I expected a lot more from this place and I won't be speaking with the person in charge of the establishment on Monday! This was the John St. location.“

“We watched Portugal and Croatia match in wcup 2026. The atmosphere was amazing and we enjoyed a lot. Pricing was also fair and reasonable. The only issue was the AC which I think was because of the number of people at that time. There were almost 100 people inside and outside watching the game.“
