“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jack Astors with my family. And although we have been to this location dozens of times , I must say, it was an experience beyond exceptional. From the moment we sat at our table we were greeted with warmth and professionalism.Our Server SAL! Was beyond AMAZING.He is literally the reason why I am taking the time to write this review.Not only was he highly knowledgeable about the menu and drinks but he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.We have been to some the most high end restaurants in the city, and never had we experienced such excellent service.The attention to detail and genuine care for us was evident throughout our entire meal.In addition to the exceptional service, the new Reno’s look great! “We picked up this restaurant for a weekend family dinner based on the reviews.Our experience was great with the food as well as service. Both the salmon and the mahi mahi dishes were excellent. The burgers selection was also very appetizing. Our appetizer bread with tomatoes and cream cheese was amazing.We found the crew to be quite friendly and efficient. The restaurant ambience was very pleasant.Overall a great experience.Parking: The restaurant is adjacent to a hotel so there’s plenty of parking for both.“

“Went in for the milk fish but it was not available until later that day, yet there was no disappointment. We ordered some cold beers on tap that were delicious and on sale. Then we decided on the pork nachos and a skewer plate. Holly smokes the food was outstanding! I have never tasted a giant pile of awesome nachos prepared that way before. Wow, you got to check it out. The skewers were amazing and that unique Filipino love sauce was all there. We were treated like kings while we ate and drank our faces off. I am so glad we dropped by early in the day, by night there must be a line up to get in there. Yes, it is that good. I can't wait to get back and hit the rest of the menu and damn certain to get my share of the milk fish. This place is a GEM. Limited in space, so choose your time wisely.“

“My first time there was 02/03/24. Nice place and definitely an adult crowd. A big shout to the DJ/Selector "Roots Fire Sound" Donson, who was fantastic. He had the vibes on lock with good music and shout-outs to the birthday people about five that night. The owner of the lounge, Sugar bird, took over from the DJ/Selector about 2 hours before closing, and why? He shut the vibes down. He needs to let the professional do the job from start to finish. There is also jerk chicken, chicken wings, soup, and other food, which I won't comment on because I didn't eat anything. There is also a $10 charge at the door.“

Peter our server was an amazing host, he had great recommendations and made us feel special by insisting we try some vino verde, which was excellent. Food was delicious (flaming sausage, grilled squid, tiger shrimp and chicken) and reminded us all of our trip to Portugal. Ended the night with a dessert called heavenly cream, it’s a must try. “The place has been in that location for a long time so clearly they're doing something right. The service is attentive and friendly. The bar is spacious with a large upstairs and a considerable downstairs as well. I've been a couple of times and both times the bar was far from full, I think it's large size only adds to this empty feeling. They have a somewhat limited but classic beer menu with a couple interesting local beers on tap. Overall if you're in the area and looking for a pint I would recommend stopping in but I wouldn't expect my mind to be blown.“
