“You can never go wrong with a quarter chicken dinner or chicken pot pie. Staff is friendly. Sometimes the service can be a bit slow when the restaurant is busy. You can get points if you have a scene card. It helps that there is a free parking lot in the Plaza. Great location too.“

“Very cool place. All the staff was very good at their job, Taya was our waitress. She was awesome in my opinion. The food was good. The triple pepperoni pizza was really good. Make sure you get the hot honey sauce. The mozzarella sticks were really good and fresh. The rigatoni pasta was mid, The noodles were still a little hard maybe I just got a bad batch. The drinks were not strong but overall 5 stars still. I would definitely return!“

“A very good lunch/brunch place here in the market. A nice spread of comfort foods and you can make your own plates and combos. Highly recommend getting their salads with some sides and latkes for a whole meal experience. The old couple that run this place are very nice 🙂“

“My husband and I had a great time! The show was fun to watch, the actors put on an amazing performance, and all of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and in character!

My only complaint would be the seating. The chairs are extremely close together—only about 2 inches apart—so you’re essentially touching the strangers beside you for the entire show. It would be nice to have a little more space between guests.

Other than that, we absolutely loved our experience and would highly recommend it! 🏰⚔ It’s very loud so if you’re startled easily, I’d suggest bringing ear plugs (especially for kids!)“

“We had such a wonderful dining experience at Pickle Barrel! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The soup of the day (Butternut Squash) was warm, comforting, and full of flavor. The calamari was crispy and tender, and the NY striploin was juicy, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. The lobster and shrimp linguine was another favorite — creamy, rich, and loaded with delicious seafood. Every dish was satisfying and beautifully prepared.

A special shoutout to Ate Leny for her excellent service! She was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. Her wonderful service made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Super delicious brisket, the ribas super tender, wings excellent taste. And the staff super helpful. We where outside but start raining hard. The waiter did not hesitate to help us to move to the 2nd floor. I can't wait to come back. And after all that the prices are fair. Good job guys. We will be back.“

“This is the best Swiss Chalet in the GTA! The food is always well prepared, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and most importantly, the service is outstanding! So welcoming and friendly! Even the owner often walks around and says Hello. Everybody there is so personal. It feels like a family.
