Their menu provides you ample variety without confusing you too much. They have great Veg and non vegetarian options. Their all you can eat salads and soup with bread is a great option if you want to eat something light and healthy (Depending on your selection of soups and salad). “For those who like a good pub with its own beer production, good food, good location and accessibility ♿️ this is definitely the right place.Granite is very well located on Avenida Egliton, close to many shops, private parking, public parking and the metro station.The brewery has an outdoor area for the spring and summer periods, a bar lounge area, and an indoor area with a fireplace.Local production takes place right there at the brewery, and you can see the boilers when you go to the washrooms.Speaking of accessibility: the house has an accessible entrance with a spring door, but without automatic activation (which makes it difficult for wheelchair users, users of crutches or walkers to enter. They have an adapted bathroom with support bars and spring doors (the bathroom door it also requires automatic opening). All the sink taps are automatic and so is the waste disposal container. The food amazing and their pricing is worth it! This is officially our go to spot now for jerk and oxtail. I am a chef myself i work in a high end find dinning restaurant. I appreciate good food. I know the food was made with LOVE. Will be telling this spot to my family, friends, and co-workers. Even though we came late at night around 9PM the food was still extremely good, fresh, and just amazing. It tasted as good as my mama's food. Can't believe your rating is just 4.5 Stars this is an easy 5 Star rating place for me. But again that's my opinion. Kabsa is a family of mixed rice dishes that originates from Saudi Arabia and Yemen, where it is commonly regarded as a national dish. Whereas, Mandi is a traditional Yemeni dish. Mandi is usually made from rice, meat (lamb or chicken), and a mixture of spices. Basically these types of shops specialize in mainly one thing on the menu... Chicken Mandi and lamb Mandi. In Middle east, it is common to have a big dish with rice and couple of chickens on it. People sit around it and start munching on it in the same dish. Now that is out of the way. Lets talk about the experience. The Restaurant itself is quite big and has enough seating. The owner only takes cash but has an ATM on site. The restaurant is a MOM/POP shop as he and his wife are running and cooking from what I could have guessed. The food is cooked fresh and takes time to cook. The owner already informed us before hand and we knew there will be wait time and let me tell you it was all worth it. I ordered Chicken Mandi. The lunch meal came with half chicken over rice, a salad, sauce, banana and a drink. Wow, the food was fresh and hot off the stove. The chicken was cooked to perfect and very soft to eat. I loved the meal! Just make sure to account for 30 mins of cooking time or call in advance. Great meal will definitely go and try their Lamb Mandi. Most times I find that at other locations of New York Fries, they don't put enough cheese so by the time you get to the bottom there's usually just plain fries with very little cheese but when Asmit made mine every single fry had cheese on it!
