“The owner/chef used to be the head chef at a fine Italian restaurant so all the dishes are good and some are exceptional - like most of the soups from the soup of the day and the breakfast dishes.“

“We had take out and ordered via mobile app - the deluxe family pak. It was great. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful. The addition of an appetizer (spring rolls or perogies) and mini donuts were the perfect way to start and end the meal. Price for the deluxe family pak was very reasonable.“

“Whenever I’m craving a buffalo chicken poutine or a nice cheeseburger, I find myself at this Harvey’s. Service is usually quick and the food quality is always the same, no surprises. I highly recommend coming before/after the school lunch rush ? it gets busy

“What a divine evening at the Seasons restaurant in the newly - named Pan Pacific Hotel. The spacious, beautifully - appointed dining room with white table linens and exquisite glassware was set in a high - ceilinged environment. This ambience provided comfort and elegance. We were welcomed and offered our choice of seating which included our quiet booth near a modern encased fireplace. Our velvety smooth mushroom soup with oil infusion was an excellent beginning to this celebratory dinner. Our moist ,glazed turkey and cranberry stuffing were adorned with mashed potatoes, roasted carrots and brussel sprouts. Berry compote with creamy vanilla ice cream topped this delicious dinner. The waitress made this festive holiday meal a celebration to remember !“

“After grocery we always go out for lunch and i find Swiss chalet good for my Boss who has Gluten restrictions. Some food are gluten free so its always great to come back for more delicious meal! Plus the promo or combo are very satisfying!“

“I love to come here every Sunday afternoon if I can, after 3 p.m. I start with a tall glass of cold ginger ale on the rocks, followed by a lovely bowl of French onion soup. My so-called main meal depends on the mood I'm in. It's all good. The staff are very kind and friendly. Very relaxing atmosphere. They even have a big fireplace in the middle of the restaurant, for those cold days in winter. I can hardly wait!

Parking: The reason I come here on Sunday is because there is lots of parking. It's usually full on the weekdays because of the DOT main Ministry building where you get tested we're driving a car to get your driver's license. Always busy“

“Service was a little slow but to be fair was busy and not to much staff but I find honesty this is the best tasting swiss chalet I have ever been to it is the 2nd time going the first time the chicken was the best I have ever had to be honest was fresh moist just really great.“

“Get here early for lunch so you can get a table! We arrived Saturday, half hour after they opened and we got the last available seat at that time.
I would say the food is not the same as the US in that the portions, especially of the chicken lettuce wraps, are not the same. The flavour is but we definitely had more generous portions for the price in the US. The nachos were also better in Buffalo. I actually felt ripped off for the large sized chicken wraps we ordered and got two dry, not cut/sliced, sad chicken thighs, and minimal toppings. This is Toronto after all. Maximum bang for the buck doesn't exist.
I can confidently say that the egg rolls aren't worth the cost. Only one of four was a unique flavour.
If you want the brown bread and they don't bring it for you when you sit, ask for it and they'll bring it when some is made. It's popular. It is great slather in their butter. Be prepared to pay a lot when you go, if you also want cheesecake. The cheesecake starts at $14.50 a piece.
I will go back here but will be ordering strategically next time.
I will say that the cleanliness is like I've noticed in the US. The fixtures are cleaned regularly and minimal dust buildup. I like that.

He was absolutely in tune with everything we needed and handled the volume of customers he had like a champ. He checked on us just enough and refilled our drinks so fast without us asking.“

“You always know what you’re getting at Harvey's, and this location is no exception. Great burgers and fries every time. A big plus is the gravy—it’s actually vegan, but you’d never know it because the flavor is excellent. I like that they still build the burger right in front of you so you can get the toppings exactly how you want them. Good, consistent spot for a quick meal.“
