“Great location and the food was made and cooked perfectly. As always got the four cheese spinach dip and hubby and me decided on burgers. Both were cooked and plated to perfection. Fries are a nice thick cut fry and cooked decently, but I would ask for well done next time as I prefer my fries a bit more crispy. Our server could of replenished our drinks before we finished eating, but it wasnt the end of the world. Just decided to not buy an additional round of drinks as we were pretty much done eating. As a customer thats okay, as a business owner they missed out on the upsale of a second round.“

I spent the afternoon helping an old friend and ex-colleague declutter her home, trying to help her find some structural order so this new phase of her life can actually begin.

Amidst that heavy lifting, we broke for lunch at Swiss Chalet. It is rare that a legacy institution delivers exactly what you need when you need it, but the execution today was seamless. We both ordered the Monday special, complete with the nostalgic utility of the finger bowls, but the true anchor of the meal was the staff.

We were looked after by two waitresses who managed a shift change mid-meal so fluidly it was entirely imperceptible. Their energy was lovely, efficient, and thoroughly ego-free. They provided an environment that didn’t demand anything from us, allowing us the rare room to just breathe, catch up, and celebrate the new baby.

Huge thanks to the staff today for making an exceptional, stress-free space for two old friends to reconnect.“

“My family went at Kelsey’s for lunch last Friday and the service was amazing. We had a issue with our daughter’s usual order and she wanted MAC & cheese with something else so they went to ask the owner (Steve) and he came to our table and he resolved our issue and explained to us what my daughter can order with the mac & cheese and he was very polite and kind to us and continuously kept checking on us at our table to make everything is great with us and our order. I will also like to thank Dave and Shafik as well for going the extra mile to solve our issue by getting the right person to help us. We always come to Kelsey’s if we are going out for dinner or to celebrate something and each time the service and food are always excellent and I would recommend others to experience Kelsey’s food and services.
