“We had an absolutely lovely experience here last night. We sat at the bar and had 3 courses of food, all beautifully presented and unique flavours. We were served by Ana who was informative, professional and enthusiastic about what she does. The monthly changing wine flights allow for trying 4 varieties that you may never had thought to have, and if you like something that much well you can buy a bottle to go! Brilliant 🍷
We will be back, my friend and I claimed it’s “our new locale”. I highly recommend it!!“

“If your concept of a night out involves dodging aggressive bass-drops designed to induce panic, shouting over a cheap commercial PA system that is red-lining into digital distortion & sipping a sticky, over-sweetened cocktail, please remain on King Street. You are chasing high-volume sensory assault.
The Little Jerry, anchoring a quiet block of College Street, is a sacred, low-lit sanctuary for the audiophile and the analog purist. Modeled after the legendary jazz kissa listening cafes of Tokyo, it completely rejects modern, high-turnover nightlife models in favor of custom-engineered acoustics, warm tube-driven amplification & strict, vinyl-only sonic curation. It is a room built to let music breathe.“

“What a hidden gem! Super nice spot, our server Poi was engaging and attentive, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the grilled octopus as well as the dessert - their custard pastries are as good as the ones I’ve had in Lisbon“

“What an amazing little gem! This snack bar/restaurant has everything you could want for an incredible meal. The service was so friendly, food absolutely delicious, and extensive and fun beverage menu. The carrot mocktail I tried was one of the best I’ve ever had! I came from Niagara and will make the drive again to try more dishes. Not to mention, the ambience in the dining room is insanely cute it made me want to redecorate my house lol - thanks for an awesome time!“

“Great new spot! We went in for Friday afternoon snacks/wine after work, and it was awesome. The space is warm and welcoming, the wine list is interesting but accessible, and the food is incredible. A great addition to Dupont and would definitely recommend for a happy hour or dinner.“

“We really wanted to enjoy the special event we attended, given it was $185 a ticket, but our seating was delayed by 45 minutes (though we did get some wine while we waited). In addition, guests from the first seating walked directly through the event when the sommelier was speaking to our seating, and a rowdy group at the bar made it impossible to hear the sommelier. I encourage the organizers to more closely consider such details for future events as these details detracted from our experience, and made our introduction to The Daughter not as good as it could have been. Not sure we will be back.“

“Went in with a friend on a Monday night and ended up discovering a great spot by accident. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are super welcoming, and the service is great. Their drink knowledge is impressive, and it shows in the quality of the cocktails. Plus there’s interesting art which adds a nice touch. Highly recommend!“

“Very cozy and homey! Been getting ads for it and we weren't even in the province, so we knew we had to check it out! The food was so delicious, and clearly homemade and not all greasy-fast-foodish. Spaghetti was delicious and big, filling portions. The options for meat was delicious as well, tenderly cooked and seasoned. Would love to come back when we can!!! Staff is friendly and the wait times for food were quick!“

“Midfield is my favourite place!! The wine list is wonderful with special descriptions under each wine, there was this wonderful creamy and textured chardonnay blend which I am still dreaming about . Not only a wine bar, midfield is also a food gem in the city! the chef has a farm where the vegetables are grown with love and you can tell, there are very creative/thoughtful dishes with the best seasonal ingredients. I have especially loved when celtuce is in season and on the menu, but year round the salmon crudo in its different iterations always hits the spot.
Beyond the food and wine, the atmosphere is warm and very cozy. Everyone working is always incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and they seem to have an uncanny knack for recommending what I should drink, its like we have the same palate.
If you're looking for a place with amazing wine, outstanding food go to Midfield!!!!“

“Great food and beautiful patio. However, the portion sizes are simply too small - it’s just not really justified to have those prices for the very small portion sizes.
If it was true fine dining then perhaps, but it’s not and it really is hard to justify. We liked it but I would not be going back..“

“Immediately felt comfortable and love the cozy lighting and atmosphere. We didn't feel squeezed in, despite the cozy size. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made a killer martini. We had the chips du jour (so good we ordered more to go), the tar tar which was sumptuous, cavatelli with mushrooms and the short rib (savoured every bite). We'll be back to try the rest of the menu.“

“One of the places here that truly feel like an Italian ristorante. Quiet elegance, a tight yet exquisite wine list and delicious food that blends local freshness with the nostalgia of home. One of the very few venues that evoke the Italy i left behind. If you have an understanding of Italian culture you will fall in love with the food, the atmosphere and the generosity of spirit both the proprietor and staff have.“

“This is a different sort of review. We missed our reservation because of a flight. I travel a lot and it can be a pain when the flights don’t line up with dinner plans.
The team there was so accommodating on a busy night and when it did not work out, they were so friendly that it made me want to come back.
I actually sought out the spot they have in the waterworks food hall and it did not disappoint. Very good.“

“We had an amazing dining experience at Scaddabush in Toronto! The food was outstanding — the pizza was absolutely delicious, and the carbonara was one of the best I’ve had.
What really made the visit special was our server, Kat. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the entire meal.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Italian food and excellent service. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Truly one of the most fun meals I've ever had! Gully's take on contemporary Indian food has me wanting to come back again and again (and next time we are in Toronto, we will be back!). My bachelor party group was visiting Toronto from the US and we had pre-booked a table for 18, which the staff handled well. Our group ordered many different dishes and I got to try about 10 different things. Every single dish was incredible! We also enjoyed all the unique cocktails and ordered multiple rounds. When the bartender found out my partner and I were both there, he did a fun shot with us. Our whole group had the best time and I thank Gully for making our big group dinner of the trip one that I'll never forget. We felt so welcomed and the food and drink were top notch. Highly recommend!“

“What a great evening! Went to Henry’s with a long time dinner group. Had a private function set up in Henry’s wine shop. Set menu arranged in advance. Food was exquisite, wines excellent, great location. So many restaurants get so loud that you have to yell at each other. In a private room you can relax and chat with each other. Service was brilliant. Pacing of the courses was right on. Absolutely deserving of Michelin recognition“

“Had such a great experience at Bar Banane last night. The vibe was warm and intimate without feeling pretentious. Perfect for a relaxed night out.
We ordered the smoked sturgeon rillettes, which were outstanding and perfectly balanced. Easily a standout dish.
For drinks, we tried the Berry Dangerous and Eleventh Hour, and both were fantastic.
Great atmosphere, great food, and even better drinks.“

“This is my favourite restaurant. The people who run it are friendly, warm and interesting, the food is a tasty and beautiful experiment, and they're generous with very reasonable prices. It's fun to go out in Toronto again! I love the music and location and you should go.“
“Buvette Pacey feels like a little slice of Montreal tucked into Toronto. The vibes are immaculate - cozy and effortlessly cool. It’s woman-owned, the staff are absolutely amazing, and you can feel the care in every detail. Their red wine selection is excellent, the coffee is genuinely wonderful, and somehow it’s the perfect spot for both a romantic date night and a cozy girls night. Already planning my next visit 🍷“

“Stumbled upon this coffee shop in Little Italy and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. It has the perfect chill vibe, great music playing in the background, and somehow the coffee is even better than the atmosphere.
It really feels like a hidden gem. The kind of place you want to keep to yourself, but also feel compelled to recommend. If you’re around Little Italy and looking for a relaxed spot with excellent coffee and a cool, laid back energy, this place is absolutely worth a stop.“

“Truly incredible and unforgettable experience here. The cocktails, wine, food, service, and ambiance were all amazing. I was here with a group of work colleagues. We had the tasting menu and a few bottles of wine. Truly outstanding. This meal alone was worth the trip from NYC to Toronto.“
“Obsessed with Tommy’s! So many cute touches that make it a unique, cozy date spot. The staff are kind and hilarious, with good recommendations for drinks. The atmosphere is unmatched, I always recommend this spot to friends when we’re in the area. So glad to have this in the neighborhood: all the compliments are justified.“

“I visited on a weekend evening, and the restaurant was completely full.
Fortunately, the turnover seemed quite fast, and we were seated without having to wait very long.
The restaurant is fairly small, and the tables are positioned quite close together.
I ordered the pepperoni pizza, and it was excellent. The hot honey dipping sauce and garlic sauce were both delicious and complemented the pizza perfectly.
The pizza is served in square-cut slices, which made it easy to eat and share.
We sat at the bar, and it was fun to watch the pizzas being baked in the oven.
The mozzarella sticks were another highlight — crispy on the outside and perfectly gooey on the inside.
The male bartender was professional and friendly, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
I’ll definitely be back.“

“We had a wonderful experience at Tulia Osteria Bar The service was impeccable (thank you Andy!) and the food, amazing. We ordered the Antipasti Board to start and it was well curated and had ample portions. We followed this up a Pizzano pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Very flavourful on both counts. And Pistachio gelato to finish. They are just getting started! Highly recommend. We will definitely be back!“

“Great little spot for pizza. This place has been on my radar for two years and I finally had the opportunity to go this past trip to Toronto. The pizza had a beautiful thin crust with puffy edges. Ingredients were fresh and uncomplicated. The appetizers were all fantastic and you can’t beat the price. I would definitely recommend and will be back the next time I’m in town.“

“I don't usually leave reviews, but this is my favourite comfort spot in Toronto. The food is a fun-take on traditional Pakistani street dishes and the flavours are still there. Portion sizes are pretty good. You have a great variety of both vegetarian and meat so there is something for everyone at the table.
I am consistently thankful for the staff every time I come here. Whether I am dining alone or with my friends - they are always kind and generous with their time and banter. The owner is very personable and funny as well with his deadpan humour.
Thankful for the concept, vibes, and experience!“

“We walked in at around 12:30 and it was a little empty on a Tuesday, we kind of assumed they were closing but we spoke to the bartender Stas and asked if we could bring in a group of around 20 people. She was super open to it and served our party after our night out at the ballet. It’s a yearly thing for us where we come to Melrose to celebrate after our annual gala and really appreciate Stas serving our large party by herself. She killed it. Will be back next year!!“

“I feel like it’s rare for restaurants to survive in Toronto as long as Grey Gardens has, but it’s so apparent to me now why it has.
This was a 10/10 dining experience for me, and pretty much the best I’ve had out in TO in a very long time. Just wow. The ambiance is so warm and inviting, the service is TOP notch, and the food is so damn delicious (we ordered a second tartare after we took one bite of the first one). Drinks were bomb too. We spent the entire ride home talking about how enjoyable and lovely our evening was. Thank you so much Grey Gardens! I will definitely be returning with many in tow!“
