Excellent excellent food!
The Wood Owl has been a consistent favorite of ours despite only visiting Toronto once a year. We make sure to come and always savour the chicken liver pate. Service and menu are top notch! Looking forward to coming back.
First visit to Wood Owl. The food was very tasty, particularly the pork chop and the pasta special. The smoked trout dip with chips is a great starter to share over a drink or glass of wine.

Standout dishes include the asparagus with tirokafteri, picanha, cavatelli, and notably, the lamb ribs, which have been praised as one of the best bites of food. Guests also enjoy the superb beer and wine options. The restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm atmosphere and comfortable seating. Additionally, the restaurant offers a lovely outdoor seating area for sunny days. Even during busy times, the team manages to provide a great gastronomical experience from start to finish, making it a recommended spot for an excellent meal.
