“Wonderful food!! Went with friends and 2 young kids. The kids, unaccustomed to Indian food, enjoyed the chicken pakora. The adults enjoyed biryanis, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and chicken korma. The food was so fresh and delicious.“
“Great dinner for Taste of Oakville. I had the veal saltimbocca and a Caesar salad and my friend had the chicken Marsala and the arugula salad. Everything was fabulous. Cannolis for dessert that were to die for. The staff was friendly and the service was wonderful. So glad we decided to try this restaurant. It’s my new favourite in Oakville.“

“Nice atmosphere, with lovely outdoor seating on the second level for a cocktail. Our server, Lesley was phenomenal and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Drinks were very flavourful and the selection was different and vast. Try the Rhubarb Sour! Plating was outstanding, the food was served nice and hot…everything was so fresh! Portion sizes were healthy, so much so that we didn’t have room for dessert! We drove from Guelph and will definitely highly recommend this fabulous restaurant! Will be back in the very near future. “Went for dinner last night. I’ve had take out from Solstice several times but this was the first time dining in.Our server, Taylor was so friendly and accommodating! Every single item that we ordered was incredible. The crispy Brussel sprouts are amazing! And I’m so happy to find a place that does bolognese sauce without pork! “Authentic Italian food is well presented by professional servers. The reason I took a star is that the gnocchi has a curious, strong flavour I believe to be a smoked pepper. This should be included in the description, as it is the predominant flavor of the dish. My wife certainly would not have ordered it had she known there was a smoky flavour. We're looking forward to returning when they get their license back!“

“We were looking for a nice Italian place and came across this lovely location, and what a treat it was! We had the gnocchi and the lasagna. Both were trying fantastic. The gnocchi bread bowl was so buttery and the sauce was so creamy and cheesy. For dessert we had the crema and the cheesecake. I recommend the cheesecake, it was so rich and creamy! And Alex who helped us out today was delightful!“

“One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. They open at 11:00 and made sure to get there early. I have been to this restaurant years ago and I believe it has a lot of renovations. Food was awesome. Spaghetti with meat balls was very tasty, sauce is creamy and it is just the perfect tomato sauce that I wanted. We also had the lamb which was also good as well as the penne. Bread was freshly baked.“
“Beautiful restaurant. Awesome food. Flavor is spot on. Ribeye medium rare cooked perfectly. Great chimichurri sauce! Brussel sprouts side is very tasty. Truffle mashed unfortunately had no truffle flavor at all. Grilled calamari was cooked well and good flavoring on the sauces. Music is abit too loud we could barely hear the waiter and the choice of music don’t really suit the ambiance of the place (it went from dance to hip hop and then country music anything but dinner music) Service was great. Portion size was good.“
“I had my birthday dinner here and the overall experience was good. The food was not as good compared to last year specifically the mashed potatoes which were very hard & the ravioli which was bland. The proteins however were delicious also the portion sizes are a little smaller than before.The service was great as usual and the atmosphere was nice. Overall, Cagneys is still a good place to host an event or simply enjoy dinner.“

I ordered the Prosciutto Panini from the brunch menu and it was very filling and delicious!The staff were friendly and the restaurant wasn’t too busy for a Saturday.There’s no parking lot for this restaurant so expect to walk a bit either from street parking or a public lot nearby.“
