32 Best Italian Restaurants in Oakville

“My friend and I were having good time of the dinner to celebrate Moon Festival , at the Winston Park Drive location in Mississauga! We wanted to thank the server Roy and the manager Michael C. with their professional services, which made us feel great as our comments were well listened. We enjoyed our dinner very much.

We also bought the gift card with $50 but worth $100 in value to use in the next few visits with the specific instructions.

What a wonderful dinner on the past Friday September 25! We will come back for many more times with the nice gift card to use!“

“My wife and I had lunch at Ritornos last Friday (Jan 13, 2022) which happened to be our first time at this place and must I say the food and service is par excellence. Lisa was very attentive listening to our dietary needs being vegetarians and and ended up making the right suggestions for us. Dave the person at the bar and supervisor created a wonderful and very tantalizing cocktail which we called "Strombolini" . A mixture he said had all sorts of great fruit juices cinamon and herbs a must for anyone wanting a palatizing drink before dinner. Great place folks !!! Drawain and Nalini“

“Another delicious visit to Mercato for their life-changing sandwiches. I love a good sandwich, these are beyond next level! Everything is perfection. The bread is crisp yet soft, fillings are plentiful and delicious. And the price point is a steal!“

“High quality food, service and great atmosphere“

“amazing place..... delicious food 😋“

“We held our daughter's wedding dinner at Paradiso's Oakville location. From the planning stages to the end of the event, the entire experience was exceptional. l was the first to arrive to set-up the event. l was greeted and introduced to staff who would be hosting and offered help as soon as l entered. The help was very much appreciated because l had much to do with less than an hour to do it in. Besides helping, the staff cheered me on because it was obvious how harried l was. We had some requests that we didn't speak about during the planning stages and each and every request was accommodated. The flexibility and efforts of the staff to ensure our wishes were granted are very much appreciated. Glasses were re-filled and plates were cleared promptly. The dinner choices were many and the food was delicious! l 100% recommend hosting at Paradiso Oakville and hope to have the pleasure of returning many times. A heart-felt thank you. You are wonderful!“

“Great ceasar salade with real bacon. The pizza is hand made like my nona ussd to make!“

“Pizza and pasta were delicious! Service on calling was quick and friendly and exactly the same on pickup :)“

“I just moved to the area yesterday from Brampton and ordered dinner for myself and some other people helping with the move; when my order arrived the pizza was not what I ordered, but without having to call the driver returned and brought me the correct pizza for free with a big friendly smile and apologies! Such a great surprise especially these days with the lack of good service. I’ll be ordering from them again in the future for sure!“

“Picked up some Spaghetti and Meatballs for my kid and his buddy earlier today. Service was great and the description was legit that this place is home style. 15 bones for sgetti and meatballs was ok considering there was a good meat to noodle/sauce ratio. My kid is fussy so I wasn’t sure how this would go over but he loved it. Him and his bro rated it at 4.5 stars. I would have given this a perfect score on atmosphere but parking at the strip mall was so so and egress was little dicey. Had to squeal the tires to avoid getting T boned.“

“LOVE the delicious lasagna, veal and chicken parmigiana. The cannolis and Zeppole were so YUMMY 😋“

“Lovely place to grab authentic Italian pizza! We had the caprese salad and margherita pizza and were licking the plates! Delicious beer and wine as well. The owners and staff are amazing and very sweet. Very family friendly as well. Will definitely will be going back for more! We give 4 Stelle 5 stelle! 🙌🏼“

“I am so delighted to recommend the Pane Fresco Pizza! I haven't tried every flavour, but most of them and they are superb. I'm having a graduation celebration for my daughter in June and will certainly be ordering a selection of them...Perfetto“

“Excellent food,5 star service.“

“only a few tables when we entered , we sat for over 15 minutes before anyone graced us with their presence. After we were given menus, we waited again forever . we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. was given bread and salad after a while......still no drinks .Our main courses sporadically arrived, no quality check(chicken was cold) . we actually thought our server left , as she was no where in sight. the table next to us was also getting irritated as they needed to leave . we stood up after we were done to try and find our server , but ended up going to the kitchen and asking for boxes for our food. went back up to ask for our bill, someone else came over . I told her it was an awful experience, and there was no apology or question asked to why, I guess they know 🤷‍♀️. I have avoided this chain as the service was always terrible , and we thought after 4 years we would give it another go. We'll, NEVER AGAIN“

“I always have an amazing experience at this Pizza Pizza location! Vicky always makes my pizza, and it turns out perfect every time. He’s so friendly and always shows you the finished pizza before handing it over, which really shows how much he cares about the quality of his work. The tandoori chicken pizza is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with generous toppings. The service is fast, the restaurant is clean, and the staff are welcoming. You can really tell Vicky takes pride in what he does. I highly recommend this location and will definitely keep coming back!“

“I received the wrong pizza order, but Vicky at Pizza Pizza handled the situation professionally and resolved it immediately. Excellent customer service, quick response, and a great attitude. Thank you, Vicky, for making things right so quickly!

“Went here every Tuesday with friends for lunch during the 2022-23 school year. My go to order is a meat supreme slice, which was usually already made and just needed to be reheated. They only didn’t have what I wanted a handful of times. The seating area is almost always empty and quiet, and we would even sometimes have friendly conversations with the workers. If it was great enough for me to cherish those memories, it’s a pretty good spot.“

“First time in this location and the food and service was excellent Have been many times to the one in Toronto in avenue rd and never been disappointed“
