“Diverse trattoria menu with friendly service. Great selection of classic pasta dishes without Canadian modifications (simple Italian classics, with the option to modify if you want to). Fettuccini is made in house as indicated on the menu, but other pastas are not. It was delicious. Chicken in the pasta was juicy and thin cut I was super happy with this as chicken in pasta is often big, dry chunks. Pizzas looked insanely good, will try these next time. Cocktail menu also looked good. Would have loved fresh ground pepper and fresh grated Parmesan vs the powdered on table and shaker pepper, but the chili oil on table was YUMMY! Fruit flies swarmed our open bottle of red wine. Cesar salad was simple but romaine was crisp and cold and perfect and was served with proper Parmesan cheese on top but seemed like pre-made croutons— would have benefitted from a lemon wedge on the side! Thanks for a pleasant dinner out. Will be back.“

“Went to Born & Raised on a Thursday night in August 2024 and had a very pleasant experience. I had an Asahi beer and pepperoni pizza and my wife had the meatballs and rigatoni. Our bill after tax and tip was approx $80 which I thought was a bit steep for an Italian. The beer list was very limited. All in all a very nice night out.“

“The food was outstanding. It felt like a grandparent had made each meal...filled with love. The atmosphere was perfect.

The place was quiet and comfortable. It is a converted house so you just feel relaxed as you enter. The smell of fresh baking bread really elevates your experience as you enter.

I loved how a lot of the meals were served in Lagostina baking dishes. I had the lasagna and it was all prepared, cooked and served in that baking dish.

This was a very affordable meal when you consider the quality was fantastic.

“Not only was the food absolutely amazing, but the service was phenomenal! Our server not only handled the lounge and the dining room BY HERSELF, but was also efficient and friendly! The only downside was overhearing overhearing group of ignorant people complaining unnecessarily. If you have to wait for your food here, trust me, it's more than worth it . Best Italian meal I've had in over a decade.“

“Dinner with friends at Valentino's Westdale was with mixed reviews. The food and service was, as always, top notch, but the restaurant was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices over the other guests. Sadly, that was the takeaway.
Our server was excellent, checking in often and without pressure. The pizza, risotto, and chicken parms that we ordered were tasty and cooked perfectly.
Valentino's shines with their desserts, I think, and we couldn't leave without ordering a few. My Italian Coffee was a lukewarm, but that is to be expected I suppose with all of that fresh, cold whipped cream on top! Still so good.
Bonus points for extremely clean bathrooms that smelled like strawberry.“

“We went to Peruviano for the first time tonight and we will definitely return. Both the service and the food was fantastic! We had the beef hearts and octopus for appetizers. For mains, my husband had the Aji De Gallina and I had Sudado de Pescado. I didn’t want any rice and was given the option of asparagus instead. The fish and asparagus were both cooked to perfection. My husband loved the chicken and enjoyed the fried cassava so much he asked for an order to take home. Portion sizes are generous. Looking forward to returning!“

“We have be going to binbrook pizza for well over a decade now. Overall the pizza has always been fresh, on time, plenty of toppings and the sauce is pretty good. The only complaint has always been the crust, it tends to always be dry and flavourless. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating. Pricing has been consistent over the years, for the amount and quality of food you’re getting. Worth a try if you are ever in Binbrook.“
