“My family and I went to Moxies while vacationing in the area, after a long drive from Ottawa we were tired and just wanted to eat dinner. I ordered the beef tenderloin (amazing)husband had ribeye ( also amazing) staff was friendly with great customer service (multiple stops at table to see if everything was fine and if we needed anything) however I did have an issue with an item on my plate and within 10 mins of letting our server know one of the managers ( I’m sorry I forgot her name) was at our table to discuss the issue and assure she would rectify the problem, when she returned with the bill so over compensated us on our bill. Definitely recommend Moxies in Hamilton staff was friendly and quick to rectify the problem as well as multiple apologies for the issue. Sometime s**t happens but it doesn’t mean the food isn’t great. Will defiantly return when in the area”

Stumbled in on a Sunday to a wonderfully warm welcome, a vibrant bar and professional (and gracious) staff Menu was epic, so great to find somewhere that chose different proteins and presented/cooked well. We rarely ever order Italian food bc it's just never the same as my nonna's or my father's cooking, but this was absolutely spot on. Fantastic flavors, quality ingredients, and just very authentic. We ordered the Pasta a la Norma (eggplant cooked to perfection, fresh basil, quality ricotta, and finally a sauce with the right amount of garlic i.e. a lot), and pepperoni pizza (that dough doe). What's the most ridiculous is that we've lived a 5 minute walk away for two years now and it never occured for us to get food here. That was stupid, and we will definitely be back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

After several attempts, I found the best combination that my family loves. I bought a pizza today, and as expected, it was delicious. But it's not just the pizza that's good. The wings, which I thought were just a side menu, are also delicious, and the garlic bread is tasty as well. So, I often recommend this delicious pizza place to people around me.”

Andrew was our excellent server who was pleasant and friendly despite having worked all day. He was very attentive and saw to all our requests in a timely manner. “It's a drive-thru so it's not going to have much atmosphere except for the surrounding air. As for the food, I had an Apple fritter and it was okay so that's not a problem. And as to service the guy was just fine, so no problems and it met my expectations.”

There's a regular group of clients between 9 and 10 p.m. who are very annoyingly loud almost shouting at each other, like they own the place and don't even care about the other diners. Some playing card games. Reminds me of Sunday market in a Damascus Souk! And most of the time they occupy more than one table. I wish all of them at least ordered a piece of Timbit. And I wish too, I understand their language. I've complained to the very polite crew once, I guess they're too scared to say anything. So am I.”

“We tried this place based on a recommendation from a friend and the place did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken and goat biryani and butter chicken that comes with a side of 1 naan. I would personally recommend the chicken biryani which was flavorful, good for 2 ppl and had a good number of boneless chicken pieces and is value for money. The goat biryani was good too. I didn't find the butter chicken up to the mark but that is my personal opinion. Overall I will definitely recommend this place and I would keep going back for the biryani.”

“We discovered The Hearty Hooligan after our daughter was diagnosed with an dairy allergy. We now eat here once a week! The food is always consistent regardless of the day of the week or how busy they are. Our favourites are the pickle fries and pizza rolls, we’ve also enjoyed the Mac and Cheese Bake, Moe’s fries, Mac and Cheese burrito, Crunch wraps.. all delicious! We usually add on a dessert to our order which is almost always a punkaroo cookie! The cupcakes and cookies are always good too. The atmosphere is fun and inviting and the staff is always friendly and welcomes you like they’ve known you for years.”

“My friend and I had an early dinner tonight at the location at 735 Queenston Rd, in Hamilton. Our server was Madeline and she was just great. Have not seen her there before but she was such a great server, humerous, kind and helpful in making our choices. The baked potatoes needed five minutes to go before they were reeady and she was apologetic but it was well worth the wait. Everything was hot and fresh and Madeline made our visit there delightful. We were there from 4 until 5:00 if this is helpful. We do go there a lot but this meal was absolutely the best. Top rating today, without a doubt.”

They were the first to bring birria to the market, if not all of Hamilton. My go to is their tacos or tostadas and my daughter is begging daily for their birria tacos. They are always making fresh and tasty specials, sauces and even jewelery. They have expanded their shopping selection and have everything available for a delicious meal to make at home.

A definite go to spot for me now if I’m not in the mood to ride to Caledon to Higher ground for my espresso. Friendly and welcoming staff, great commemorative clothing, and the best saying in their coffee ☕️mugs. “DEATH BEFORE DECAF” love it!!!”

“Amazing chic cafe in downtown hamilton. The owner shows care in each drink he makes. The oeanut cloud drink tastes like an reeses peanut butter cup. Then their baked goods are crazy good. I got the leek watercress croissant with ricotta inside and the crunch it has on the outside reminds you of france. Their corn flour chocolate cake was great as well, a great balance of sweetness and matches well with their peanut cloud drink. They also have high quality teas and matcha drinks, packed from the best sources in the world. There are a lot of street parking outside, and a few tables and chairs inside. Definitely check it out”
