I don’t usually write reviews about places, but my friend & I decided to come here for something light after our little adventure around hamilton. It was my first time trying this place & absolutely loved it. We ordered the calamari & tacos which were divine. All the flavours were there. We didn’t order anything with alcohol in it, but the drinks we had were still good too! I’ve always heard lots of great reviews about The Mule so we thought we’d give it a try for lunch.
Our Waiter (although I didn’t catch his name) was lovely and attentive. We sat on the back patio alone and were not forgotten.
Music was highly inappropriate for the lunch crowd. We heard a lot of the “N” word with tons of swearing. Perhaps appropriate for the after 9pm crowd on a Saturday but not Monday afternoon lunch.

The Mule offers a 100% gluten-free kitchen with amazing food, including tacos, calamari, guacamole, cease and desist, sweet potato and halloumi, Nashville chicken, and fish tacos. The food is absolutely amazing, unreal, mouth watering, and addictive, though chips can be slightly too salty and some options are less than great. Drinks are amazing or great, but occasionally slightly weak. Service is incredible, great, and customer friendly, with staff who go above and beyond, know the menu, and make guests feel at home. Some service can be a little slow. The patio is beautiful in the summertime. The Mule is a frequent outing for locals and visitors, who will definitely come back.
