“I visited Simsom Restaurant for breakfast today, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers a comfortable atmosphere and excellent service. I ordered hummus, fava beans, and manakish, and everything was incredibly delicious. The hummus was smooth and creamy, with just the right amount of seasoning that added a delightful taste. The fava beans were perfectly cooked, mixed with olive oil and lemon in a way that highlighted their flavors. As for the manakish, it was hot and fresh, with delicious cheese and olives. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my morning at Simsom Restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone who loves traditional breakfast with a tasty twist and outstanding service.”

“Satisfy your urge for barbeque at the Memphis Fire Barbeque Company! Wet style BBQ that is to die for, beautiful sauces, homemade mustard, awesome sides like Mac and cheese and poutine. They put collard greens back into my vocabulary as they were prepared right proper, making up for every soggy squishy collard green I ever had someplace else!! Brisket was delicious, just the right balance in the salt dept. Beauty pulled pork and that white apple slaw is such a great palate cleanse. I'll be back next time in town. Throw your money at these folks, you will not be disappointed.”

The nachos were the perfect way to kick off the meal – loaded with flavor and a fantastic mix of toppings. The grande chicken tacos were a UNREAL! The spicy chicken burrito was a flavor explosion, and the chicken quesadillas were BOMB! What truly stood out was the thoughtful gesture of the chef who generously prepared a complimentary cheese quesadilla for my son. It was not only an amazing surprise but also showcased the warmth and kindness of the staff. The owner was incredibly sweet and friendly! Overall, Ole Gourmet impressed me with their diverse menu, flavorful dishes, and the extra touch of hospitality. A great spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican cuisine with a side of heartwarming service!”

The onion rings were too crispy so she graciously made me another batch which were excellent. Both servers were very polite and extremely helpful. I have been dining at A&W locations since the 60's in the days of the carhops (I miss that aspect). I highly recommend this location.”

Tbh I never caught her name but she was working today at 12:30 and she brought our food to our table. Not only was she super friendly but went out of her way to make our time there more pleasant Please give her her flowers and praises. It’s hard working In customer service but she made it look effortlessly with such a great sense of ease not everyone carries. Tell her table 21 in the kids section is her fan. I really hope I got her name right.”

“I visited the Village Restaurant this week. Owner Mary is a gem, serving us with sincerity and good humour...and good food. I am one of 9 siblings and 5 of us get together with partners every 2-3 months to celebrate 1-2 birthdays. Some of the gang are hard of hearing and noisy restaurants make it hard to visit so we requested the private room. This accommodated us so well that the sister who lives in Caledonia has made a request that this be our go-to place. A couple of us come from Dunnville and some come from Waterdown. And one lives down the street. So it will be great. Thank you, Mary!!! We will be back. Oh, the food was really good too. One brother in law commented that the beef in his beef dip tasted like real roast beef. And they have homemade soup everyday. The corn chowder was fabulous.”

We ran into an issue of the bouncy castle not able to fit in the hall and allowed us to have it in the parking lot at the back of the hall. The burger is not your typical franchise burger, its more like a boutique independent burger joint. The Tornado fries are really great. The owner dropped a free sample and we were not disappointed. Service is second to none, owner even the guy behind the flat top came out to make sure we were totally happy. I'm definitely going back to try The Machine next time!”
