I visited the Village Restaurant this week. Owner Mary is a gem, serving us with sincerity and good humour...and good food. I am one of 9 siblings and 5 of us get together with partners every 2-3 months to celebrate 1-2 birthdays. Some of the gang are hard of hearing and noisy restaurants make it hard to visit so we requested the private room.
