“I had a great experience at this restaurant. The server was friendly and helpful, with a big smile on his face. It was my first time here, but I’ve had good experiences at Lazeez in Mississauga before, so I was confident in the quality of the food and service. The food was solid and reasonably priced.“

“The lady is so nice, the prices are affordable & the food is just amazing. it's all fresh and made in front of you, this is definitely the best shawarma place I've ever been to in Hamilton. Will come back for sure!

Edit, 2026: Ive been going for two years now, and still amazing!“

“So I used to love safin grill that was in the strip club back in the day, my husband has heard me talk about this place for years and years. Yesterday we were in Hamilton and I said before we drive back to Toronto we need to go try this place as it the same owners.
They don’t have the 90’s spicy onions but besides that I was transported back to the 90’s and I had some of the best Shawarma that I’ve had since I was a teenager. The man was super friendly and we shared our memories of the old place which made it an even better experience. The place is very old could used a fresh coat of paint but did that change the food? Nope 🙂‍↔ it was absolutely fantastic, my only complaint is that there are no Toronto locations and I have to drive to Hamilton to get it but it means every time we are there we eat shawarma 💓

Thanks for the blast from the past and not making me look like a liar to my husband 😂 he is now a believer.“

“We recently ordered Poppi’s for pickup because they had a great March break special. I hadn’t heard of this place before but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The pizza was ready fast and was very good, hot and fresh. The price matched the amount of food we purchased and did not seem overly inflated like a lot of pizza places. The drink selection was unmatched and definitely the star of the show! My only downside was the garlic sauce could be a little more garlicky but that’s just personal preference. We will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future“

“We did the 2 shawarma for $18 something deal. I got a chicken one and my friend got a falafel one. It was a LOT, and the chicken shawarma didn’t taste too bad (but I’ve never really had shawarma before so-). My friend did say the falafel one wasn’t great though.“

“Went for lunch. Lots of choices and price ranges. Had a shareable & it was generous. Wait staff were attentive & pleasant. Great experience all around!“

“Great experience at this Osmow’s location. Osama helped me with my order and was super friendly and efficient. I got the Super Shawarma — it comes with 10oz of meat for only $15, which is amazing value. I’m very health-conscious and also budget-minded, and this is easily the best bang for your buck. I’ve had similar orders at other places, but here when they say 10oz, they actually mean it. Food came out fast, service was excellent. Highly recommend this location!“

“My favorite spot in the food court! I often stop by after a workout and get the Greek balanced plate with meat and a fresh salad. It’s delicious, filling, and feels like a healthy, balanced meal. I love that I can grab something nutritious without sacrificing taste. I keep coming back and highly recommend it!“
