“I don’t ever really write reviews on restaurants unless they are consistent with their food quality and standards. So with that being said, this is the third time I’ve ordered with Timmy’s and I definitely need to acknowledge this place. My husband and I order the same thing every time (we don’t really like change lol) and every single time with the two kebabs and rice it is ABSOLUTELY perfect. They don’t miss. The food that comes out of their kitchen is obviously made with love and care because they never let a bad plate go out. I’m not big on rice. At all. But this rice, I can eat all day, every day. They put a type of red sauce on it and a white sauce too. But it’s not what you think. It’s not the typical shawarma red and white sauce you get when you order a wrap or a plate. It’s savoury red sauce with tomatos and a little bit of kick. The white sauce seems yogurt based and it pairs absolutely perfect with the rice. And the rice, isn’t your typical white rice. It seems marinated in a way that is exploding with flavour just on its own. And don’t even get me started on the kebabs!!!! They’re juicy and big and packed full of flavour. And they give you two massive kebabs! TWO! This meal is not only filling but absolutely delicious and I’ve been addicted to Timmy’s Tanur since the moment I tried it the first time. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, using Uber eats or door dash, this restaurant will NEVER disappoint. They even throw in a delicious pita to make sure you’re full! Absolutely wonderful! I recommend this place to everyone and anyone!!!“

“So I used to love safin grill that was in the strip club back in the day, my husband has heard me talk about this place for years and years. Yesterday we were in Hamilton and I said before we drive back to Toronto we need to go try this place as it the same owners.
They don’t have the 90’s spicy onions but besides that I was transported back to the 90’s and I had some of the best Shawarma that I’ve had since I was a teenager. The man was super friendly and we shared our memories of the old place which made it an even better experience. The place is very old could used a fresh coat of paint but did that change the food? Nope 🙂‍↔ it was absolutely fantastic, my only complaint is that there are no Toronto locations and I have to drive to Hamilton to get it but it means every time we are there we eat shawarma 💓

“Ive had a lot of shawarma but this was the best I’ve ever had , 10$ shawarma 13$ with a can of pop I tipped 2$ for a really good sized shawarma lots of toppings tasteful chicken sauce was great it was perfect people say words can’t describe how good it was and now I understand that saying , Dundas shawarma was a life experience and a lunch 110% recommend going !!!“

“I make a point of grabbing a falafel pita every time I am in the area. The falafel are freshly made upon order, the toppings are wonderful and I tried the hot sauce as well as the garlic sauce for the first time today. Delicious combination! Lovely staff, too. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.“

“We recently ordered Poppi’s for pickup because they had a great March break special. I hadn’t heard of this place before but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon arrival. The pizza was ready fast and was very good, hot and fresh. The price matched the amount of food we purchased and did not seem overly inflated like a lot of pizza places. The drink selection was unmatched and definitely the star of the show! My only downside was the garlic sauce could be a little more garlicky but that’s just personal preference. We will definitely be ordering from them again in the near future“

“Tried Jimmy the Greek in Hamilton and overall it was a solid experience. The portion size is generous, making it a great value around the $20 mark. It’s a great choice when you want something filling but not greasy. The meal felt fresh and satisfying.

A couple of downsides: the potatoes were a bit too mushy and oily, and the olives still had pits — which I understand is more authentic, but it’s not ideal when you’re not expecting it and have to spit them out mid-bite.

Still, if you’re looking for a hearty, relatively clean meal at a fair price, this is a reliable option.“

I have now been to this location a couple times this year and I have been very happy with service and quality of the food for a food court restaurant. I would highly recommend it.
