“So I used to love safin grill that was in the strip club back in the day, my husband has heard me talk about this place for years and years. Yesterday we were in Hamilton and I said before we drive back to Toronto we need to go try this place as it the same owners.
They don’t have the 90’s spicy onions but besides that I was transported back to the 90’s and I had some of the best Shawarma that I’ve had since I was a teenager. The man was super friendly and we shared our memories of the old place which made it an even better experience. The place is very old could used a fresh coat of paint but did that change the food? Nope 🙂‍↔ it was absolutely fantastic, my only complaint is that there are no Toronto locations and I have to drive to Hamilton to get it but it means every time we are there we eat shawarma 💓

“What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. “Been coming here for 14 years now and have been loving it ever since. Would always get the fries with white (garlic) sauce and hot sauce. The shawarma is good too. Have lots memories of going here with my friends then talking and laughing as we eat afteward. Came here yesterday with my girlfriend and got the fries with white and hot sauce. Tasted amazing! “My wife and I ordered the combination platter with both the chicken and beef, and it was absolutely delicious. While both meats were great, I personally enjoyed the beef much more and would definitely order that on its own next time.

The tabouli salad was incredibly fresh and flavorful, the pita bread was soft and warm, and we finished our meal with the baklava, which was the perfect sweet ending.

What really made our visit stand out, though, was the service. Our waitress was upbeat, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Her positive attitude made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. Great food, excellent service, and we’ll definitely be back!“
