“I think La Luna was the first Lebanese restaurant I ever ate at, more years ago than I want to count. I was in town for an appointment and took my teen there and it is still fantastic. We had the lunch special and the wrap and salad were a generous portion and delicious. The baklava was tasty and 1 order was plenty to share for 2 people. Highly recommend!“
“A good place to have a shwarma . I cant say its the best but still its not bad at all . Good quantity for the price and the service they provide . The staffs are so good . Honestly the bad thing i could say about this place is as its busy the table and the floors are not taken care very well . Needs more attention in cleaning.“
“I ordered Nabil for the first time based on the good reviews. They did not disappoint!! The tabouli is exactly like my dad used to make. So delicious, so authentic, such excellent service, SO GOOD!!I catered by birthday party with my whole family, and Nabil was a total hit.“
“Really good place highly recommend the food is so good and they have a wide selection of drinks to choose from really enjoyed there food and the vibe they have when you walk in really good songs playing at all times my go to spot for Middle Eastern food the staff is amazing they all are really nice people“
“I do not recommend the Ancaster location. Based on looking at container I chose small Greek salad with chicken shawarma. Guy put my salad in metal container used for hot food that holds less. Salad and chicken in this. The cashier said to him “that’s supposed to be a small salad” and he ignored her. I said “that significantly less salad than usual” and he just asked if I wanted cutlery. I paid extra for the location, but hot half the food. First and last time for me…no thanks!“
“Good and service was on point.we ordered couple of different shawarma bowls and a wrap.meat was very good and flavorful and rice was a nice touch my daughter's ordered Poutine (we don't get that in the US) and the fries and the meat and the sauce was on point .NO KETCHUP NEEDED!!!!“
“Everything about this Restaurant deserves five star, soraan the owner really up keeps his store very clean organized and high quality !!I I live on the mountain and Every time I am stoney Creek I have to pay him a visit and convince him to open uptown lol definitely one of my favourite place in hamilton 100% keep up your great ownership my buddy :) Anyone of the wraps are to die for and must try for yourself !“
“LET’S JUST SAY YUMMMYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!! This is THE BEST LEBANESE food around!!! Hands down.... family owned and run. Fresh, hot, flavourful, cooked right in front of your eyes! This place has not disappointed yet! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEIR FOOD!!!!!“
“Visited here for some late night shawarma. It’s really a hole in the wall, with product everywhere, you can tell they don’t clean much. However the shawarma itself was very good!Got the large chicken shawarma wrap. They go generous with the sauce and really pack that wrap full! It’s not a super cheap place but for what you get I think it’s good bang for your buck. $12.50 for the large and it was huge (didn’t take a pic this time). The guy serving me was friendly.“
“Ordered a simple chicken shawarma… I didn’t know what I wanted and the guy behind the counter was patient and helpful. Thanks Hussain for a great experience. He also did a little trick to ensure my fries don’t get soggy… everything tasted great!“
“What a great meal from Golden Pita!!! We both enjoyed 2 main entrees of Chicken Shawarma and Shiska Kafka, delicious Lentil Soup, Salad with Pita’s and Baklava for dessert. The food was hot, fresh and delicious. We love to support this family owned restaurant, they are always wonderful and pleasant to deal with. The pricing is reasonable and worth it. The Williams Ancaster ❤️“
“Stopped in to try them out. Wanted the family chicken but they didn't have stock so he offered 10 chicken tenders instead. They were great quality! Only downside was that I ordered a few sides and they ended up forgetting to give me one of them. All the food was delicious! Best beef shawarma I've had.“
“Customer service was quick and respectful. Food was amazing !!! First time trying it since they just opened in jackson square on Monday. I'll definitely be coming back every time I'm in the mall ! Thank you for this great experience. My mother and I enjoyed it ?“
“Place is great but extremely disappointed. I live 45 minutes away and called in advance, arrived at 630 today ( Posted closed @ 8:30) to see they were behind the counter but closed?? 3rd time this has happened!!! Make sure you call, ask if they're staying open for the next hour!!“
“So I’ve been here before but this time it was different. Omar served me and I had a great experience! The food was excellent, my shawarma was HUGE, and my sister’s chicken and rice was absolutely amazing! The last few times I was there the middle of the shawarma had no sauce and it wasn’t as tasty. I’m not sure why that happened. This time everything was evenly distributed and it was good from start to finish!I’m 27 weeks pregnant so if it’s good for me now, it’ll be even better for me after the baby!I’ll be back!“
“Great place. Always clean and friendly service. Your orders are on time or made quickly if you walk in. Great place to run into friends you haven't seen in a while as well. Everyone I know that has tried food here is a repeat customer as it's always on point. Shwarma and fatoosh salads can be a bit sauce heavy, so I always ask for half, and it's perfect. Meat always cooked just right, and the cuts are nice and lean. Veggies fresh and nice. I am very pleased, my mouth waters the minute I get my order. Try them out. You will not regret it.“
“I've been coming here for years. It's always been my go to spot in Hamilton, from when I was a young adult coming from the bars, to when I was on my way home after a long day at work. I have to say though...coming back after a long time, their quality has gone above and beyond what it already was. Delicious new additions to their menu such as the lentil soup and fresh bread are a staple. Highly recommended!“
“Had a pretty great first experience here at the Upper James location. I'd never been here but my friend had been.I completely enjoyed my meal. A fresh pita hot out of the oven came to the table and was super delicious. We ordered the cucumber yogurt dip to dip the pita in...mmm ?My main was Beef skewer with rice and some pickled "stuff" that I thought were very tasty. The only complaint I have food-wise is my beef was very WELL DONE; my preference for beef is actually rare to medium rare but I was not asked how I wanted it....but it was freaking delicious for flavour so I actually didn't care.I think the service could be more attentive...it was my first time...so an offer to help with the menu or recommendations would have been helpful....I wouldn't have realized to order the dip for the pita if my friend hadn't suggested we split it. Perhaps, if the server could say I'm going to be bringing you a warm delicious pita, I'd recommend the hummus or yogurt dip as an accompaniment....it would also encourage new patrons to up-sale their orders. The pita would have been delicious on its own but was enhanced by the dip in my opinion. Maybe by asking "have you been here before" the servers could then realize the potential to be more suggestive and helpful with first timers, like myself.I would add that I did find it a little pricy...there were less expensive options but I chose something I knew I'd enjoy disregarding price because I'm new-ish to middle Eastern cuisine.Half the dip and my meal with water to drink came to $33. That's pricy for lunch...but I never mind paying for quality...and quality was there.Definitely will try going back and recommend you check it out“
“We had to grab a quick bite before hitting the road. Our daughter recommended Tahinis and I have to say the food was excellent. We ordered a jerk wrap and Habibi bowl. Portion are really good, will definitely drop by again if we're in Hamilton.“
“Outstanding food and warm service. Truly flavourful very generous portions of all your favourite middle eastern dishes. Do yourself a favour and order the Meza. Low-key family restaurant, wheelchair accessible, great value for money, free parking on premises and across from the hospital.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Amazing place, a gem in Hamilton. If I'm ever doing a late night work crunch and can't make food I have this place. This and city shawarma are tied for the best shawarma places I've ever had. Portions are amazing and staff is really good, they are quick and prioritize customer service. Would love a location in Toronto they would destroy the shawarma shops there.“
“"The Good" I really like the pizza here, it is pan pizza not stone, nor Brick oven but it is surprisingly good.It is conveniently located attached to a Verity store, so you have some selection on your drink preference. The staff are friendly and professional."The Bad" Do not order the pizza sub!I was greatly disappointed, and was offered a deal the next time I came in however I have returned to not receive any such deal, discount or replacement sub.Avoid this menu option.“
“Went there with my bf and friends. My bf and I had the chicken skewer plate. It was our first time here and we loved it! Food was amazing, staff were friendly and kind. Also loved the tea they gave us. The atmosphere was lovely. We'll be going back again!“
