Great place to eat in the heart of the City... Highly recommended
Checked out Tanoor in Hamilton while they're still in soft opening and it was great — they gave us free lentil soup first, then I had the lamb shank qouzi which was so tender, and the chicken biryani was full of flavor with almonds. Big portions, good prices, and the service was top notch. Proper Iraqi home-style food, I'll definitely be going back.
Its a great restaurant that pays great homage to Iraqi traditions. The food is very home-cooked and if you lived in the middle east the meal dont feel to dissimilar to the ones prepared in Iraqi homes. The location is nice but parking is limited. The staff were wonderful and they give alot of more food and portions than expected. We got complimentary soup, bread and tea with our food with asking (or paying).
