“The best in the town“

“everytime i come here, it never disappoints in terms of authentic shawarma, and balanced flavour. I ordered the shawarma mix on the rocks, and it was just, immaculate. I would’ve taken a photo of the food to attach to this review, but finished it before i had the chance! The customer service too here is amazing and the owners are super friendly. One thing I would like for them to do better is try and up the portion sizes based on the price of each meal, but other than that, 9.5/10 experience.“

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pitalite, and I must say, the experience was absolutely delightful. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for a wonderful meal. But the real highlight was, without a doubt, the food.

I ordered the classic chicken shawarma pita, and it was phenomenal. The pita bread was perfectly soft and warm, enveloping the tender, flavorful chicken that was seasoned to perfection. The fresh vegetables added a crisp, refreshing contrast, and the garlic sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a creamy, tangy flavor that tied everything together beautifully.“

Friendly staff, good prices, and fast service. Take out since it's a food truck, but they told us that they do catering if you're interested!“

“Big fan of the Erin Mills location of Tahini's. My favorite item is the Blueberry Flame because the mix of sweet and heat is delicious, but I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't like. I typically do takeout but the dining area is comfortable and clean. The also share space with "Dough Bits" but I haven't ordered anything from that side.

Kid-friendliness: No explicit kid menu but the Minis would probably suit a child. They also have fries and the Dough Bits.

“Ordered 2 chicken shawarma wraps from Royal Shawarma, one without the pita, at $7.99/each and paid. Was then told by chef I couldn't get mine without pita, I'd have to order the $13.99 salad plate. I said I didn't want that much food, hence the wrap. They wouldn't budge so I asked for a refund which they seemed to prefer rather than accommodate me. Took my business to Big Grill and got what I wanted, along with great service, and it was $5 cheaper.“

“We visit this Shelby's location at least once a week, and each time, the service is outstanding. The traditional shawarma wraps and boutines are truly the highlights of the menu! “Bashawat Iraqi Grill is a hidden gem in Meadowvale Park! The food is absolutely delicious, with authentic Iraqi flavors that are hard to find elsewhere in the area. We tried the kebab platter, it was huge and everything was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor.The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The outdoor seating with a view of the park adds a unique touch, making it a great spot for a summer meal. Highly recommend Al Bashawat for anyone looking to enjoy some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in Mississauga!

PS: While placing the order on the counter, the lady is an Arab lady, she is very sweet and hard working! Only Coke and Pepsi, some Orange soda (Fanta) are available as cold drinks, there were limited choices of beverages which was compensated by the delciously pickled veggies. The overall experience was fantastic.“

“A small hole in the wall that makes great food. The staff are incredibly friendly and always seem to be in a great mood. And the value is incredible. Nothing fancy, just great food at great prices.

“On September 22nd at 11am on at the Osmos on Financial Drive me and my family decided to eat at this location. We walked in and were welcomed and greeted by 2 amazing young women. They both gave us amazing suggestions and information. It had been a couple of years since we ate at Osmos due to a previous bad experience, but these 2 amazing women provided us with the best customer service we have ever had at a food chain especially at an Osmos. They were so friendly and gave us suggestions about adding things in, and gave us hot sauce on the side. They went above and beyond and even asked us how our meal was and I can say it was the best shawarma we have gotten in years. From the service, to the freshness of the food, and the amazing taste, these ladies provided the best customer service and the best tasting food. We give them 5++++ stars!“

The wrap was fresh and generously filled with all the toppings I love. The portion size was great, and everything tasted so fresh. “Never reviewed this place but they have an amazing shawarma. I thought it was standard across all lazeez but it isn't. I've never had a complaint about this place ever. I ordered from the Guelph line location today. Please come here instead of the Guelph line location. This place makes better food. I'll attach pictures from the Guelph line location. Mediterranean fast food. I tried the falafel with rice and fries combo, and it was absolutely perfect—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.

The staff were welcoming and attentive, ensuring my order was understood and prepared just right.

A special mention goes to Navdeep and Saman for their excellent service and for packing my food with care.

One of the standout features of this location is that it stays open late on weekends, making it a top pick for night owls looking for delicious, fresh food.

While the seating options are limited, there are enough spots to enjoy your meal if you choose to dine in.
