“So, so, so insanely delicious. My favorites were the lamb shank and the koobideh. We came across this restaurant randomly, and I can confidently say it has become one of my favorite spots for Persian food. It’s a cozy, homey place where the food truly speaks for itself, everything was incredibly flavourful and made with care. I also loved that you can swap half the rice for salad for just a $2 charge, which was totally worth it. The owner was wonderful as well, very welcoming and hospitable. Can’t wait to come back, easily has become one of my favourite spots for Persian food!“

“Service is good and very fast. Food is amazing. I haven't had authentic Egyptian food before so I don't know how authentic it would be to an Egyptian person but it looked pretty authentic and tasted great.

Dine-in area is small, seats around 15 people max so reservation is recommended for guaranteed seating. We visited around noon, right after they opened and we didn't need a reservation.

The interior is nice, simple touches here and there that tie in really well with the theme. Highly recommended. Not cheap but not pricey at all“

The owner cut the meat fresh off the rotisserie, most shawarma shops pre cut their meats & have sit in a heating compartment which dries it out. Beef was amazing with extra beef fat on the rice, chicken was juicy. He gave me extra beef fat when I asked with no issues.

Pay cash and get a free drink. Support this family ran restaurant. The owner is so nice and warm. Welcoming & out going. Will 10000% return.

“My wife and I decided to stop by Pita Land after an appointment in the plaza, and we had a pleasant experience. We were served by Sayed who provided excellent service to us. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Plate and the food is so delicious. Sayed made us feel welcome, comfortable, and valued when taking our individual orders. We will definitely return again. The picture doesn't do it justice but the portion size was more than adequate.“

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“First time at Tomas Grill at 3700 Steeles Ave west and the food was delicious. We were meet by the owner who was so kind, considerate and took it upon himself to make us a platter full of a variety of food. The meal started with appetizers followed by the platter. “I got take out last night, rushing to eat before work (salad and chicken shawarma sandwich). It tasted odd... shortly after,, I called the location to tell them, something was off with the ingredients. I wasn't sure of it was the onions, turnips etc. something was left out too long perhaps... and today I am sick as a dog. I've eaten here before. I think they need better quality control on the food... especially being safely stored.. perhaps temperatures..etc“

Clean maintained indoor seating area. The pickles and pickled turnip make it one of the better spots to get shawarma. Great location, five minutes from highway 27, with plenty of parking and a cheap gas station across the street.“

I absolutely love coming here, especially post gym / on an appetite because the portion ratio you get is never skimped so you will always get your money’s worth, especially protein wise.

What I really love about this franchise is that they aren’t afraid to innovate compared to Osmows, Shelbys, etc. and all those other viral shawarma places you see on instagram and tiktok are never really true to their taste, prices and hype as influencers hype it up and get special treatment in portion sizes. Example is me trying their new blueberry chicken wrap to their ramen shawarma which where are you even getting these experimentations elsewhere?

Also the service is always quick, the place is clean but the utmost is Nitish, one of the workers there who knows me as a regular and just always greets and treats me like family. Even when I order over ubereats, he just knows; That goes a long way in creating a warm and welcoming vibe and environment without that force factor.
