“So, so, so insanely delicious. My favorites were the lamb shank and the koobideh. We came across this restaurant randomly, and I can confidently say it has become one of my favorite spots for Persian food. It’s a cozy, homey place where the food truly speaks for itself, everything was incredibly flavourful and made with care. I also loved that you can swap half the rice for salad for just a $2 charge, which was totally worth it. The owner was wonderful as well, very welcoming and hospitable. Can’t wait to come back, easily has become one of my favourite spots for Persian food!“

“We had a very good experience at Me Va Me. The food was fresh, flavourful, and there were plenty of vegetarian options, which was especially appreciated. There was a great variety to choose from, including falafel, hummus, rice dishes, salads, and other vegetarian selections.

The service was excellent, friendly, efficient, and impressively quick. The restaurant was also very clean and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating, making it a convenient choice for families, groups, or a casual meal.

“Pita Land is honestly my favourite food spot, hands down. I've been going here for several years now (since it opened) and the location is so convenient for me that it's become a regular thing. What really gets me is how consistent the quality has stayed the whole time, no matter when I go.

I've ordered from here during late night school projects, after long gym sessions, and even during gaming nights with friends. The chicken shawarma has never once let me down, whether I'm getting the poutine, the plate, or the potato bowl, they're all consistently amazing. The staff have always been friendly whenever I've gone in, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great too.

Also huge shoutout for being open late on Uber Eats. I genuinely can't even count how many times I've ordered from this place at this point, it's a lot.“

The owner cut the meat fresh off the rotisserie, most shawarma shops pre cut their meats & have sit in a heating compartment which dries it out. Beef was amazing with extra beef fat on the rice, chicken was juicy. He gave me extra beef fat when I asked with no issues.

Pay cash and get a free drink. Support this family ran restaurant. The owner is so nice and warm. Welcoming & out going. Will 10000% return.

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

The only downside is that there is one older lady who works during the daytime. I’ve interacted with her several times, and unfortunately she has been consistently rude, impatient, and unfriendly.
