“So, so, so insanely delicious. My favorites were the lamb shank and the koobideh. We came across this restaurant randomly, and I can confidently say it has become one of my favorite spots for Persian food. It’s a cozy, homey place where the food truly speaks for itself, everything was incredibly flavourful and made with care. I also loved that you can swap half the rice for salad for just a $2 charge, which was totally worth it. The owner was wonderful as well, very welcoming and hospitable. Can’t wait to come back, easily has become one of my favourite spots for Persian food!“

“Habibi Bowl for $21. Portion is pretty small and food is generally ok. Rice is flavourful and so are the chicken and sauces tho I wish there was more protein. The garnishes make for a nice touch and visual. My main complaint is the tzatziki sauce tastes like straight up plain yogurt and is quite overpowering imo especially when lathered in gallops. Also it isn't as spicy as I thought it would be for the second highest level.“

“Wow, this is by far the best shawarma I’ve had in… forever! Was recommended this place by a friend and boy oh boy, he was not wrong when he said the food here is amazing! From the minute you walk in, the atmosphere and the smell reels in tight, that it’s quite literally impossible to not walk out with some food in hand. The menu was of l huge variety so it took me a while to decide, but when I did, I knew I made the right choices. Every bite was a journey and my satisfaction meter went up every time! I definitely want to now I try everything on the menu since I only got the shawarma and Greek salad. Huge thanks to Danielle, the cashier, for making the takeout process smooth and efficient. Though I did eat at home, I am definitely coming back to dine-in. 10/10!“

“Shawarma lover here, I’ve had the most viral in the city and this spot deserves more recognition. 10/10. Meat was fresh, juicy and flavourful.

The owner cut the meat fresh off the rotisserie, most shawarma shops pre cut their meats & have sit in a heating compartment which dries it out. Beef was amazing with extra beef fat on the rice, chicken was juicy. He gave me extra beef fat when I asked with no issues.

Pay cash and get a free drink. Support this family ran restaurant. The owner is so nice and warm. Welcoming & out going. Will 10000% return.

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

We were meet by the owner who was so kind, considerate and took it upon himself to make us a platter full of a variety of food. The meal started with appetizers followed by the platter.
