“I had the Halloumi wrap, spicy. It was amazing.

The wrap was toasted and spiced perfectly and was compact and “svelt”, and not like those overstuffed raw-pita monstrosities with too much salad and that drip sauce all over your clothes and car seats.

Before I discovered Tahinis, I had only experienced one other shawarma place in all of Toronto made it properly. That place shut down a decade or more ago so now this is the only good shawarma place in town.

“I first came to this place more than 15 years ago and it was amazing..a hidden gem.., then it changed owners and they tried to make it more "upscale" but it was just more expensive and quality of the food dropped..it was still "ok" for a change once in a while.. . I have not visited Belle for years now as I moved out of Toronto and then the pandemic and yesterday while in Toronto we decided to order take out .....very very disappointed The prices don't match the quality of the food and when we picked up we just saw a bunch of teens playing videogames not really customer oriented. We had to wait longer for the order and the food was cold. The Lula kebab was burnt, the home fries (that was the signature master piece) were dried up, the chicken was tasteless... Poor quality, poor customer service and expensive. Will not come back or recommend again“

“Really good and flavorful shawarma, especially with saj bread. The family that owns the place is very nice....they make you feel welcome.

One thing I will note as I do frequent this place, maybe once a week: Going in the early afternoon my portion is significantly larger than when I go in the evening. For some reason, the morning crew is a lot more generous. Maybe just a coincidence although its a trend I noticed over 1.5 years

The chicken came out of a hot tray but was moist and tasty.
