“Pita & Hummus on Yonge Street is one of those places you go for the taste and value, not the ambience. Their $12.99 buy-one-get-one chicken shawarma deal is an excellent offer, and the shawarmas are a really good size with fantastic taste.

I specifically like my shawarma Syrian-style with chicken, garlic sauce, pickles, and fries, and they made it exactly the way I requested. The fries really complete the wrap for me. They also offer free fried pita, which is a really nice gesture and something you don’t see everywhere.

The ambience is just okay, but honestly, at these prices, you can easily grab your shawarma and enjoy it while walking around downtown. In my experience, the taste and affordability are better than many of the more famous shawarma brands around this area.

The one thing they really need to work on is customer service at the cashier. When I was paying, the lady taking my order seemed to be in a rush. I had just finished paying and was putting my card and things back into my wallet when she repeatedly asked me to move away. I understand that other customers need to place their orders, but you should give a customer a few seconds to put their belongings away after paying. People aren't going to stand there unnecessarily, they'll naturally move once they're done. A little patience and better training at the cashier would make the experience much better.

“Food was super good, ordered a chicken shawarma plate and another dish. They didn’t have the other dish we ordered so they gave us another chicken shawarma plate and threw in 2 puddings and a baklava to make up the price difference.

They food was super good, the chicken shawarma plate was super good with all the sauce and veggies mixed in. The pudding was super good best I’ve had.

“Had a wonderful meal at Limon. The staff are excellent. And because I was there near closing, I saw how the kitchen staff went to work washing down the whole kitchen. It was impressive to see how much care went into their work. I would encourage anyone who wants a great meal to dine at Limon. Pricing for what we ate was very reasonable too.“

On entering Delinas your immediately struck not only by the presentation of their food but also by the cleanliness, organization and engaging staff. We will certainly be returning to try their shawarma wraps and plates.
