“We were celebrating a birthday and the food did not disappoint. We did notify the restaurant via open table and when we checked mentioned the bday but it was not acknowledged. We ordered the large salatim platter for appetizer but waited over 45 minutes for it. The server apologized a few times for didn't offer an explanation or gesture. The pita were hot and soft and all the dips were delicious. We then waited and waited for our mains (more apologies) had chicken schwarma (portion was not overly generous) which was also delicious. Had some salami and potatoes and yummy drinks. The food was so good I would be tempted to go back and hopefully the service slip was just an off night.“

Stephen and Emma who served us for dinner and brunch were professional and fun all at the same time. The chefs are truly talented and it showed throughout the flavours of our meal choices. “Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch with 5 other people. The restaurant was quiet and we were served very quickly. I ordered the veggie platter and it came with falafel, garlic sauce and potatoes. I know other locations have more veggies like roasted vegetables, but the platter was very tasty and good value. It came with rice as well. I aso got the mango passion fruit juice and I highly recommend!“

Also ask for samosa and get it a little undercooked and not too crispy. Try the chicken and beef, also their veggie! Always getting 20s. “My visit to Zaad for a weekday lunch was a satisfying experience. The student specials advertised outside were a great deal, and the restaurant's spacious seating areas provided a comfortable dining environment. I ordered the chicken shawarma platter with fries and biryani rice, and was surprised by the generous portion size. The tender meat and flavours were delicious. The service was prompt and the staff created a welcoming atmosphere.
The one setback was the few horseflies on the veggie station.

Accessibility: some neighbourhood parking, close to subway station. No automatic door opener, washroom is large and individual. The restaurant is located on ground level. Lots of space to maneuver around. No wifi access.“

“I would like to share my experienced, Around 3 weeks ago I bought Chicken Shawarma wrap at this restaurant ( first time to try ) when I got home and start eating I noticed only few tiny pieces of chicken inside I cant even tasted it , I feel disappointed coz I didn't enjoy my dinner so I immediately called them & complained they told me I can come back if I want & they will replace it with new one, but since I need to take bus just to go there, I didn't bother & just took picture as a proof that I didn't see much of pieces of chicken , today , I was at the area so decided to passed by I personally show them the picture and the guy I spoke too apologize & he immediately made me new one & this time he put lots of chicken. I make this review to acknowledge their effort to make their customers happy but I guess next time when I bought again I will make sure to watch them when they are putting the meat inside the wrap..“
