“I recently dined at a fantastic restaurant where I enjoyed an amazing meat platter, which included Adana kebab, chicken and beef kebabs, and chicken and beef shawarma. The Adana kebab was particularly juicy, and the chicken shawarma had a unique flavor that I hadn’t encountered before—it was truly delightful. The shish kebabs were tender, and the beef shawarma was also well-prepared. The meal was so delicious, I couldn't resist having seconds!

The service was exceptional. Both the owner and his employee were attentive, friendly, and made the dining experience pleasant and engaging. The decor added to the charm of the place with its minimalistic Kurdish-themed elements, including historical site photos, traditional dinnerware, kilim bags, and tablecloths. The background Kurdish music performances on TV further enhanced the atmosphere. I also appreciated the Amedspor scarf proudly displayed, reflecting the owner's love for his hometown and the capital of Kurdistan. Overall, it was a memorable meal and a warm, welcoming experience!“

“We dined in on a Saturday night. We had comfortable seating at the front of the restaurant. We were worried about bringing our baby but it was fine. They sat us at the corner and we left our stroller in the corner. Definitely friendly to families.

We ordered their Parallel salad, chicken schnitzel and falafel. The food was superb. Thank you to Zara for being so helpful as we ventured out as a family.“

We went as part of Summerlicious and got to try several different items for a great price: appetizers dokka and bissara, mains koshari and ful and tameya, and both konafa desserts. The food was absolutely delicious! A great variety of flavours and textures throughout. I found the dishes to be well seasoned without being overwhelming.

Service was excellent. The front of house was quick and attentive, and special thanks to the chef who explained a bit about the dishes and gave his recommendation on how best to enjoy them. I'm glad I tried all of the things the chef recommended, as it was well worth it. They know their stuff! Also glad to see that a large portion of the Summerlicious menu was vegan, which accommodates many dietary restrictions and preferences. So happy to have discovered Papyrus!“

“This is my new favorite place in the city for Lebanese food. It was so good. Got a chicken shawarma wrap and it was truly the best and most authentic (to where I grew up in Ottawa) one I've had since moving to Toronto. Amazing sides too. I had an eggplant and cauliflower medley that blew my socks off. They had many more options than your standard rice or potatoes (not that there's anything wrong with rice and potatoes!) too. Definitely recommend. Will definitely be back!“

“I recently had the Falafel Wrap with fries at Pitaland on Spadina, and it was amazing! The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with great flavor. The fresh veggies and tasty sauces made the wrap perfect.

The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, a great match for the wrap.

The service was friendly and quick, and the portions were big for the price. If you’re in the area, definitely try the falafel wrap at Pitaland. It’s one of the best I’ve had!“

“I dropped by here for lunch after visiting AML Auto Service across the Street. I had the most delicious and amazing Chicken Shawarma Wrap at Pita Land. Everything was super fresh. Staff is very friendly.. One of the regular customers recommended I add Tahini sauce and I'd highly recommend you do too.

“My go to shawarma every Tuesday because they've falafel Tuesdays, 2 wraps for $10.99+ tax, and almost every Tuesday I get wraps from them. The falafel is well seasoned and big pieces. There are some toppings missing like pickles and those turnips, these are the main ones I like rest the food is served fresh and decent quality/quantity.“

The store has been renovated and is quite clean. The manager and staff are friendly and the store has a nice atmosphere. According to the manager, they have Deals so that anyone can eat something delicious for about $10 every day 🥺If you can't decide where to eat at Bloor, come here!

(2021) Tuesday special Falafel wrap(2wraps $7.99) is my favorite! Both the tray with vegetables and the store are clean and safe. Don't forget to show proof of vaccination when eating or drinking inside the restaurant. You can also express your wishes such as no ○○ or extra ○○, as in subway.

I ordered the veggie platter and it came with falafel, garlic sauce and potatoes. I know other locations have more veggies like roasted vegetables, but the platter was very tasty and good value. “I would like to share my experienced, Around 3 weeks ago I bought Chicken Shawarma wrap at this restaurant ( first time to try ) when I got home and start eating I noticed only few tiny pieces of chicken inside I cant even tasted it , I feel disappointed coz I didn't enjoy my dinner so I immediately called them & complained they told me I can come back if I want & they will replace it with new one, but since I need to take bus just to go there, I didn't bother & just took picture as a proof that I didn't see much of pieces of chicken , today , I was at the area so decided to passed by I personally show them the picture and the guy I spoke too apologize & he immediately made me new one & this time he put lots of chicken. “This place has the best shawarmas! Hands down. I had chicken kebob wrap (have had chicken shawarma and beef shawarma as well, in past couple of times) but today thought to give a review.
